You dear Saint are an Ambassador appointed to be a Priest

I AM WHAT I AM BECAUSE OF HIS GRACE. I UNDERSTAND WHAT I KNOW BECAUSE OF HIS GRACE.

See notes below on background information.

Note:  I found this Blog I had originally written back in 2012  - when I was going through tremendous trials.  I found this Blog because of recent research on this subject.

 I updated it to include a growing trend of false teachers who are Pharisees straining at gnats while swallowing camels. Who attempt to restrict and bar the Saint from knowing who they are in Christ and their role with Christ in ruling with Him.
See Revelation 12:5 study.

Ambassador for Christ

Note: There are those who believe the Body of Christ are not saints. This is unbiblical.  This is addressed in links below.

Don't let the Pharisee false teacher steal your crowns

Do NOT be deceived by Dominion Theology #EndTimes #Maranatha (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

ALL SCRIPTURE IN KING JAMES BIBLE

  • You are an ambassador appointed to be a Priest because you've come up close and personal to a deeper understanding of Luke 14:26-27; Hebrews 10:38; Luke 9:62; Matthew 13:21-22. Romans 15:15,16, Romans 12:1, Ephesians 2:8,9, and ESPECIALLY - in this context - REVELATION 1:9,10, 5:9,10, 12:5, 20:5.
  • You're in the midst of trials and tribulation and testing.  God has chosen you in the furnace of affliction and you know our Lord Jesus is with you in the midst of this furnace and yet you feel completely at peace and your joy knows no boundary.
  • As with your fellow Saints, you know you're being prepared through trails, tribulation and testing as you take the cross. This all started when you heard our Master command you to GO, then COME, then TAKE UP THE CROSS. (Mark 10:21)

    Jesus said to the young rich man: "One thing you lack: "GO" your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and "COME" "TAKE UP THE CROSS" and follow me. (Mark 10:21)

  • As Oswald Chambers wrote, "Very few of us truly know what is meant by the absolute "go" of unconditional identification with, and abandonment and surrender to, Jesus.
  • You're not asking why because you know you've taken up the cross and are pressing in closer, you don't want to miss the mark, because you know you've heard our Master's call and you yearn for Him, you can't get enough of him as the Shulamite yearned for and sought out her Shepherd in the Song of Songs. You don't want to miss out on what God has in store for you.

Don't miss out of your REWARDS dear Saint.  The BEMA SEAT judges our works.

Study on the BEMA

  • You know the servant is not greater than His master. If our Lord suffered so shall we do likewise.
  • You know the reasons for your calling is because you're in an empirical understanding of a relationship with Jesus and to do that you must and are being weaned from milk to find the meat. This is where the mature Saint wants to be.

  See study on experiencing Jesus

Why God Engineers our circumstances to test us FAR Beyond our Limit (thethirdheaventraveler.com)
  • You know that the ultimate purpose of your calling is to be a joint heir with Christ and heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. You know this is all for the glory of God.

Romans 8:17

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

  • Knowing this you know that Christ learned obedience through his sufferings. In other words, Christ learned to submit to God's will in his suffering, which would lead to his death. Christ's learned that His suffering is what qualified him to be High Priest under the order of Melchizedek. And subsequently through our obedience to him we are saved. (Hebrews 5:8-10)
  • You know the word consecration adheres closely to the law of sowing and reaping. You understand the moment you were  called out to be separate you had to first consecrate yourself to our Lord and by faith you know God then immediately consecrated you, gave you the Holy Spirit to empower you with the authority to be His Royal Priest.
  • You know you can't fulfill this commission on your own strength or ability. You know there's over 4,000 years of history in the Bible where the children of God tried under the old covenant and failed, but God through His great grace and mercy gave us a new covenant through the perfect sacrifice of His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, that we are saved, justified, sanctified - including being sanctified - and will ultimately be glorified.  Amen.
  • You understand your calling under Jesus the High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek  king-priest connection; walking/functioning completely in the Spirit and not the flesh.

  • You know and understand the urgency to read, study, and  learn and then apply yourself to what are the awesome, incredible responsibilities, duties, requirements of a Royal Priest of God.

Amen!  Maranatha!

NOTES:

DO NOT FALL PREY TO THE HYPER-DISPENSATIONALISTS and their kind who tell you the Body of Christ is not in the book and prophecy of Revelation.  Who lie and say the Body of Christ has no part in the Millennial Kingdom.

Why Hyper-Dispensationalists Remove Prophecy for the Church (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

Only a person who is saved can be consecrated by God to be His Ambassador here on earth 2 Corinthians 5:20 in the here and now and His Priest on earth during the Millennial Kingdom Revelation 20:5.

   Therefore, the selection process is straightforward and quite simple.  Those who are saved are members of the Body of Christ. Each of us will be rewarded for our works here on earth in this realm.  See my study on knowing our position in Christ and being good soldiers.

To be a Good Soldier for Jesus We have to Know our Authority and Responsibility in order to Strive Lawfully (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

 However, once were saved is when the battle begins, the process of sanctification of growing up to know our true role as Christians and as Priests of God, even to the judging of Angels. Revelation 20:5,  1 Corinthians 6:3.

Unfortunately, many are called but few are chosen, they'd rather remain as babies instead of growing up, or they turn back or are distracted with the cares of this world.

Although Matthew 22:14 refers to people who have a chance to come to Jesus, but scripture is clear we Saints are in a race and we will be rewarded accordingly. Study for yourself the BEMA JUDGMENT.  Revelation Chapters 1 through 3. 1 Corinthians 4:5, 2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 John 2:28.

This is pretty amazing considering no one, not one person is justified before God, (Romans 3:20) ; but by God's great grace, as a free gift, God has made anyone who believes in Jesus Christ to be made righteous (holy before God), and justified (blameless before God) and worthy before God to be His saint.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus . (Romans 3:24)

Once we come to know we're saved, we then have to take the call to take up the cross and follow our Lord Jesus..

Scriptures and notes on High Priests of God and The Kingdom of God:

1 Peter 2:9: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

1 Peter 2:5:  you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:14-16: Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 5:1: For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.

Revelation 1:3-6

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen

Revelation 5:9-10:

8And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Revelation 20:6: Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

1 John 5:15 And if we know that He hears us, whatsover we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

In John 17 We distinctly see The Priestly prayer of Jesus to the Father on our behalf.

Romans 12:1: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Spiritual sacrifice is said to be holy, acceptable and well pleasing to God.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul directs the saints to present their bodies to God as a living sacrifice, which, he says, is their "reasonable service"  This "reasonable service" is an analogy of the divine service of the priests of Israel:

Notes on reasonable service:

The apostle Peter, in his first letter, refers to the saints as a "royal priesthood" (1 Pet. 2:9) and as a "holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices" (1 Pet. 2:5).

In this paper, I will explain why Peter refers to the saints as a priesthood, and just how they offer spiritual sacrifices. I will also show how the holy priesthood and spiritual sacrifices, of which Peter speaks, relate to the Levitical priesthood and carnal sacrifices of the Mosaic covenant. It is not only Peter who uses this analogy, for this idea is found elsewhere in the New Testament.  I will also show how the Priesthood is harmonized for the BODY OF CHRIST.

A Royal Priesthood and a Holy Priesthood

Peter speaks of the saints as a "royal priesthood" to denote their standing "in Christ" (1 Pet. 5:14). Since Christ is King, it follows that those who are in Christ would be royal:
1 Timothy  6:12-18:

HOW THIS HAPPENS IS BY THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEKEK
Our Kinsman Redeemer

12

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

13I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

14That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

17Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

Since the saints have received "sanctification of the Spirit" (1 Pet. 1:2), they are "holy"; that is, set apart for a special purpose. Thus, Peter refers to the saints as members of a "holy priesthood".

Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, being a good Dispensationalist you'd say, "Peter is not writing to the Body of Christ."   This is true in most instances in the Book of Peter. However, as in links in the notes calling out the Hyper-Dispensationalists, ALL SCRIPTURE IS WRITTEN TO THE BODY OF CHRIST. There are some scriptures that do NOT apply to the Body of Christ. The test is to see if the scriptures can be harmonized with the Pauline Epistles.   And in this case this directly applies to INHERITING the Kingdom and ruling with Christ. See scriptures harmonized below.

Spiritual Sacrifices

1 Peter 2:5: ..."you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
Peter states that the saints, as members of a holy priesthood, offer spiritual sacrifices which are acceptable to God. Just what are spiritual sacrifices? Other passages of scripture shed light on this topic:
Hebrews 13:16: "But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."
Philippians. 4:18: ... a sweet smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God."
Romans 12:1: that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

"reasonable service" -  an endowment with purpose.  An endowment is an inheritance granted by birth or decree.

Galatians 5:21 - 1 Corinthians 6:9:   Inheriting the Kingdom of God.

Thus, spiritual sacrifices refer to doing good, sharing, and the giving of a gift to one in need. Spiritual sacrifice is said to be holy, acceptable and well pleasing to God.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul directs the saints to present their bodies to God as a living sacrifice, which, he says, is their "reasonable service" [intelligent service; Young]. This "reasonable service" is an analogy of the divine service of the priests of Israel:

Rom. 15:15-16:  Is telling us that Paul is performing PRIESTLY DUTIES - Ministering the Gospel so that the offering up of Gentiles might be acceptable.

Ministering in the context of Romans 15 in the Oxford English Dictionary page 1804 tells us this is the function of Priests administrating and carrying out the duties in their service.

The Levitical Priesthood

The book of Leviticus states that the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the peace offering, are offered by the priests. These offerings are spoken of as "a sweet aroma to the LORD"

Lev. 1:3,9: "If his offering is a burnt sacrifice ... And the priest shall burn all on the altar as a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, a sweet savour (aroma) to the LORD."

The Saints as a Sacrifice

Paul uses a different metaphor with regard to the sweet aroma of sacrifice. He speaks of the saints as a sweet fragrance:

2 Cor 2:14-15: "Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance [sweet fragrance; Young] of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing."

What an honor it is to be called and chosen to be the vessels through whom God diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge. And this honor has been granted to the saints because Christ is our sacrifice.

Christ as Sacrifice

Ephesians. 5:1-2: Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

If you fail to see the significance here relating to how Jesus Christ places significance in HIS ROLE as the High Priest, ask yourself why Jesus told Mary Magdeline not to touch him before he ascended to the Father.  See the remarkable connection to the High Priest duty on the day of atonement before entering the Holy of Holies.  Jesus not only ascended as High Priest but also as the Sacrifice.  Also note the 2 ascensions of Christ Jesus.  Once mentioned in John 20:17 and the other in Acts 1:9 after his 40 days as a witness to over 500 1 Corinthians 15:1-11.

See this in study where the Yoke Masters are rebuked for deleting the role of the Church from Revelation and from our role with Jesus Christ in reigning with him.

As the Body of Christ we ARE IN CHRIST.  Read Ephesians Chapter 1 and 2.  Read Colossians Chapter 1 and 2.  Read Romans chapters 3, 5, 6, 8.

  1. Amazing. Brings to mind the scripture, Eye has not seen nor ear heard nor has it entered into the heart of man's imagination what God has in store for those who love him. Amen.
