Blessed Hope of REDEMPTION, #Pentecost 2015

Submitted by Tom Gaston for those who have been watching for our blessed hope of REDEMPTION,  the Rapture.

I have believed for a long time that the Rapture could very well take place on a Sunday, the "Lord's day" ( Rev. 1:10,11 ).  The apostle John received the "Revelation of Jesus Christ" and the "Message to the seven Churches" on this day of the week.

Pentecost is always on a Sunday.  First fruits is always the "morrow after the weekly sabbath" which is Sunday.  From First fruits Sunday April 5th, 2015 / Nisan 16 ...........to............ Sunday May 24th / 6th Sivan is 50 days.

Pentecost will always fall on a Sunday because 50 days from Sunday ( First fruits ) to Sunday ( Pentecost ) is always 50 days no matter how the days of the week fall in any given calendar year.

The following gematria's are exciting to me!

[...........................................Gentile Bride appointment on Sunday.......................................]
מ  י  נ  ו  י    ג  ו  י    כ  ל  ה    ב  י  ו  ם    ר  א  ש  ו  ן
700  6   300     1     200      600    6   10     2          5     30    20       10    6     3       10     6   50   10   40 / total = 2015

[..........................Sunday.....................]
י  ו  ם      ר  א  ש  ו  ן
700  6   300     1     200          600    6   10 / total = 1823

[....................Adonai and the Church......................]
י  ה  ו  ה    ו  ה  כ  נ  ס  י  י  ה
5    10   10    60    50  20      5      6        5      6     5    10 / total = 192

Sunday 1823 + 192 Adonai and the Church = 2015

Let me say something here!   There are a lot of people who are "poo - pooing" the Rapture possibly taking place on Pentecost this year in 2015.  And I know this because NO ONE virtually is responding to what I have been sending out ( accept for a couple of my close friends ).  I also have been searching the internet which is revealing that the majority are looking for the Rapture to happen on the "Feast of Trumpets" this year. This is because they have been "brainwashed " into thinking that the Rapture of the Church "has to" take place on Rosh HaShanah, and at no other time!  This is not true, and as a matter of fact the feast of Pentecost is a much stronger candidate date for the Rapture to possibly take place than the Feast of trumpets ever was, or any other festival day!

The fact is this, that many are missing a "whole bunch" of important thought and reasoning on this subject as to "why" this is so!   But I won't expound on this here because all I would be doing is "beating a dead horse" which is already dead and lifeless!  And so why keep beating him?  People won't listen anyway because they are like a bunch of robots who are playing "follow the leader" in the school of "propehtic thought",  repeating to other people what "someone else" has convinced them to believe, and then passing it on to someone else and proselytizing others with their school of thought.  Well,  I would rather be anticipating the possiblity of Jesus coming on Pentecost than to "not be" looking for His appearing on that day and be "caught with my pants down!"  How embarassing and shameful that would be!

Many are mistaken in believing that the tribulation and its judgments are going to start the "exact same day" of the Rapture.  I don't believe that it is going to happen this way folks for a number of "reasons" which many have never considered.  Many good premillennial scholars believe that there will be a "period of time" ( preparation ) between the Rapture and the beginning of the tribulation period.  But of course there are those who do not pay any attention to any of our good premillennial scholars because these people think that "they have it all figured out."

Pentecost is what I call a "parenthethical festival ", or a festival that is like "bookends" which has been unfolding ever since the birth of the Church took place in the book of Acts chapter two.  Pentecost is still in operation, and it is still working effectually as God is adding to His Church daily.  It sits between Passover and the fall feasts.  I can't think of a "better prophetic window of time" for God to complete His Church than to do so on a future Pentecost.  The Holy Spirit descended on that day to indwell the Church, and therefore it is a pefect time for the Church to be completed, and for there to be a "reversal" of Pentecost by the "removal" of the Holy Spirit and His restraining hand, in order for God to "remove the scales" from Israel's eyes.  National Israel has rejected Christ, His messengers ( the Church ), and the message of the gospel of Christ which they have been sharing with the world.  There is NO BETTER PLACE for God to finally get the nation of Israel's full undivided attention!

I see Pentecost as a time for "three divine appointments" for national Israel.

First divine appointment for Israel / Mount Sinai ( First Pentecost appointment ) God betrothed Israel / Israel heard his voice / Israel receives God's Law.

Second divine appointment for Israel  / Birth of the Church ( second Pentecost appointment ) /  God speaks directly to the nation of Israel through the mouth of the apostle Peter on this day once again In Acts 2 / Israel does not respond nationally / her national redemption therefore is put on hold until the future time.

Third divine appointment for Israel  / The Rapture of the Church ( third Pentecost appointment ) / God at this time then removes the scales from Israel's eyes ( Rom. 11:25 - 27 ), and speaks to the Jewish nation once again concerning what has just taken place / The event of the Rapture of the Church then authenticates who Jesus is, Israel's true Messiah.  Israel responds and her "national redemption process" then begins.

Now can you imagine the "spiritual impact " it would have upon the Jewish community if the Rapture of the Church took place on the very day of Pentecost, the day that the Church of Jesus Christ was birthed!   I mean, it would be like a "spiritual bomb" just went off in the "minds" of every Jew on this planet.  the "divine message" which God would be sending to His Jewish people and communites by such an enormous prophetic event would be beyond overwhelming in scope!  And there is no doubt that it would "shatter the spiritual scales" that has blinded the eyes of God's Jewish people for 2000 years!  Such an event, on such an important feast day would unmistakeably authenticate within the mind of the religious Jewish communties that Jesus is truly Israel's Messiah, and that His Church which He just completed and removed was indeed established by Him. I can find no words as such to really describe the "spiritual impact " it would have upon the Jewish community at large for the Rapture to take place on that day.  It would be FOOL PROOF!

Can't you see it folks!  There is no better day for the Rapture, and no better day for God to remove Israel's spiritual scales from her eyes than the very day of Pentecost!  The day in which God's Church was birthed.  God would be authenticating that His Church was indeed established by Him.  And it would be "undeniable proof" and "irrefutable proof" that Jesus is indeed Israel's messiah!

If God wants to "confirm" to His Jewish people that Jesus is their Messiah ( which there is no doubt that He does ), then what better day could He choose to do so than by removing His Church on the very day it was birthed!  Therefore, for the Rapture of the Church to take place on this important feast day would mean that God would be using His Church and the Rapture event as an"instrument" by which He would "remove the spiritual veil" and the "scales" which has blinded the Jewish people for too long.

There is "NO OTHER" Jewish feast day for the Rapture of the Church to take place on which would or could have the same kind of "spiritual impact,  conviction,  and effect" upon the minds of God's Jewish people and their "religious communities", than the feast day of Pentecost, the day of the "holy convocation" for the bride of Christ.

There are four months between Pentecost to Rosh HaShanah.  These four months between Pentecost and Rosh HaShanah would give ample time ( following the Rapture of the Church ) for the world stage to be set in preparation for bringing this man antichrist onto the world stage for the tribulation period, which could then begin on Israel's next seven year sabbatical cycle which is coming up on September 14th this fall.  When the Rapture happens, then global chaos will ensue and cause catastrophic world changing events to occur which will be needed to set the stage for the final seven year drama.

I believe that the following passage of Scripture is a "vital clue" to the timing and season for the Rapture of the Church.

Contrast between Mount Sinai ( first Pentecost ) and Heavenly Zion

Hebrews 12:18 - 23

"For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind,  and to the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words which sound was such that those who heard begged that no further word be spoken to them. For they ( Israel ) could not bear the command, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it will be stoned.”  And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, “I am full of fear and trembling.”  But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect....etc."

There it is right there folks!  There is your "timing" for the Rapture!

Until He comes!
