Understanding Inheriting the Kingdom of God; Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Ephesians 5:5-8 KJV
The following 3 scriptures have weighed heavily on my heart for years now because I know during my early years as a Christian I suffered from fear of these scriptures and now as a mature Christian the Lord has placed a burden on my heart to teach others the truth of the meaning of these scriptures. God bless all who are good Bereans and are searching for the truth.
Galatians 5:19-21
King James Version
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
King James Version
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Ephesians 5:5-8 KJV
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Most Bible teachers and these so called pastors teach that if you as a Christian commit any of the list of sins mentioned by Paul in scriptures above, then you will go to hell. Period! Some teach that if you have a habit of committing these sins you'll go to hell. In any case, commission is damnation of your eternal soul.
As I mature more as a Christian I find myself meditating and praying over my Bible to carefully digest scripture and under stand it thoroughly for myself. I Meditating on God's word by II Rightly dividing the word, and applying sound III Hermeneutics & Exegesis with the IV Correct bible translation is essential.
Please read notes below on each aspect of studying the word of God.
In studying the word of God for myself instead of being spoon fed by false teachers, let's really understand what Galatians 5:19-21. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Ephesians 5:5-8 KJV are really telling us.
I. Once we are truly saved we cannot lose our salvation. Period! Please read my Biblical studies on Eternal Security:
II. Paul clearly tells us by a major clue in verse 11 of 1 Corinthians Chapter 6, "And such WERE some of you: BUT YE ARE WASHED, BUT YE ARE SANCTIFIED, BUT YE ARE JUSTIFIED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS AND BY THE SPIRIT OF OUR GOD."
This tells us that we in our flesh are prone to sin. We as Christians reject sin, however there are times we fall. This does not determine our eternal soul to heaven or hell, but rather our inheritance. Salvation is entering the Kingdom of God. Inheriting is your rewards given by Jesus Christ at the BEMA Judgement.

We should be better Christians if we were more alone, waiting upon God, and gathering through meditation on His Word spiritual strength for labour in His service. They love the wheat, but they do not grind it; they would have the corn, but they will not go forth into the fields to gather it; the fruit hangs upon the tree, but they will not pluck it; the water flows at their feet, but they will not stoop to drink it. From such folly deliver us, O Lord, and be this our resolve this morning, "I will meditate in Thy precepts."
