Christ's Present Session and What's soon to Come . #Rapture Watch Jesus Saves #ccot #Maranatha

"...in actuality the New Testament teaches that Christ's present position is in expectation of His future Davidic reign. Hebrews 10:12-13 says, "but He, having offered  one sacrifice for sins for all time sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet. " Of this passage Newell writes, "Our Lord is not now on His own throne, the throne of David, He is at the Father's right hand, on the Father's throne,  and is now the Great High Priest, leading the worship  of His saints and also our Advocate against the enemy.  But He is there in an expectant attitude."
"Jesus is not currently reigning on David's Throne for the simple reason that Revelation 3:21 carefully distinguishes His present position on the Father's Throne  from His future  position that He will one day occupy on David's Throne over the earthly  millennial Jerusalem in fulfillment of 2 Samuel 7:12-16.  That hardly describes the Church at Laodicea (Rev. 3:14-22), whose very name literally means "the people ruling". Here Christ is portrayed outside of His very own church (Rev 3:20.) , as it is being ruled by the dictates of man rather than the sovereignty of God. (Rev 3:15-19)." (The next time you feel out of place in a Laodicean church, remember you're in good company. (My comment .))
Above taken from parts of "The Coming Kingdom" by Andrew Woods. Pgs 259, 252 respectively.

As we come ever closer to the end of this age, (the church age also known as the Time of the Gentiles ) as witnessed by the current state of Israel ( after first becoming a nation again after the final dispora) being surrounded by her enemies whereby this tiny country is continually hated and harassed by the world as prophesied in Zechariah 12 and throughout several other Old Testament scripture including the New Testament Matthew 24,  we the church the Bride Of Christ will soon be Raptured  (John 14; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58).
When we Christians Return with Christ at His Second Advent,  Jesus Christ himself will begin His rule on earth in the Millennium, a literal 1,000 year reign where Jesus will rule with a Rod of Iron from the city of Jerusalem.  Israel will be restored after her conversion following the Tribulation, whereby she  (the Remnant) accepts Jesus Christ (Yeshua)as her true Messiah. (Isaiah 11:11; 43:5; 66:20; Jeremiah  16:14-15; 30:3; 10-11;  Zechariah8:7 etc...) Jesus Rescues Israel and establishes His kingdom through Israel ( Matthew 24:30-31; 25;31). We Saints are joint heirs with Christ and will join in the benefits of this millennial kingdom in Jerusalem into  the Eternal State.

Maranatha!
