Jesus' 2 missions are also mine

The servant is not above his master John 15:20 An email I sent my sister in Christ this morning: Praise God! You know Sarah, I just, this morning had a major revelation from the Holy Spirit. Just as our Lord is both the lamb of God and the Lion of Judah (lamb and king) , We also are here looked upon by grievous wolves as lambs and in the age to come we shall serve our Lord Jesus as kings and judges over the age to come Revelation 1:5-6. Romans 8:14-17; 1 Corinthians 2:9 When I woke this morning there were some things on my mind that were very disturbing when reviewing events of this past year. Then, the Holy Spirit told me, "The reason these things upset you is because you still have much "love for this world" in your heart. (1st John 1:15-17) Let go of these things, do not be concerned about the wrongs done to you but ensure you've done no wrong. Cast your cares upon Jesus, set you mind on the things of Christ which is in essence, Seek ye first the kingdom

We the Saints Shall... Change... Praise God!

Below is only a small excerpt from a 3 part series by Pastor Francis Riley:    I chose this because of the tremendously powerful truth of the amazing age to come, this sums up in a nutshell what God intends for His true Saints very very soon.   Hallelujah !    Praise God! Thank you Jesus.  Come quickly, Amen! THE AGES TO COME, PART II (excerpt)  BY PASTOR RILEY:   " When the great Pre-tribulation resurrection and rapture “harvest” occurs, every true New Covenant believer’s body will be instantly “changed,” [ 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 ] “that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself,” Philippians 3:21.   Glory!  Hallelujah!  Praise the Lord!      I could write an entire Bible study [ or book ] on the “change” alone, but I have neither the time nor the inclination to do so.   Note just these few points gathered from the inspired Word, and let them encourage and motivate our readers

The Saints are Looking Forward to a World Without End, NOT for the End of The World

Image
The Omega Letter Intelligence Digest Vol: 135 Issue: 21 - Friday, December 21, 2012 How It REALLY Ends . . . With a World WITHOUT End   I don't want to say 'I told you so' (yes I do) but the world didn't end today.  Granted, today isn't over, but I am still feeling pretty good about taking a victory lap.  I am pretty sure we'll still be here at the end of the day. In fact, I'm completely sure of it.  Let me explain why. It is interesting to me to see how the whole Mayan calendar thing links to Doomsday which then links to Doomsday preppers which somehow gets linked to Bible prophecy, then to the Bible, then to certain churches and they all get lumped together as fundamentalist crazies.  I knew the world wasn't going to end today BECAUSE of Bible prophecy.  The end of the world is an entirely secular concept with no parallel in Scripture.  The Bible never speaks of the end of the world, except in the context of its replacement with new heavens and a

Satan tries to settle us where God has made us strangers.

Satan tries to settle us where God has made us strangers. A Brief Word on Abram and Lot Genesis 13 The word of God is given that by it we may judge ourselves. It is not merely a book of abstract doctrine, but it tells us truth about ourselves in our connection with God, coming down to us in everyday life. Especially about the working of the will we get instruction. The Old Testament Scriptures were “written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come” (1 Cor. 10: 11). The Israelites had the manna and the water, but we get instruction through that which happened unto them for illustrations. In the days of Abraham the world had departed from God in an open way. The family of Abraham worshipped idols, as we see in Joshua 24: 2. After the flood men began to worship devils, but when idolatry is openly established, God calls out one family in whom His name is to be honoured, and through whom His truth is to be preserved. God had called Abraham out to go into the land

Abraham's call is our call... Do you hear dear Saint?

The Call of Abraham Genesis 12: 1–10 The call of Abram, the father of the faithful, is evidently of special importance in this respect, that it is the first public separation of one called out of this world. This gives a very particular position to the one so called out. The people of God were always morally, and must necessarily be, a people separate from the world. But Abram was the expression of something different. He was not merely to be a godly man  in  his family, but a godly man  called out  of his family. It was God exercising and establishing a title over those He had morally and spiritually called. This broke the ties of nature, claiming them and calling them out into public testimony of separation. This distinguished the call of Abram—the public assertion of the claims of God over His people. The call of Israel out of Egypt is somewhat analogous, though it was not said to Israel to come out, but to Pharaoh, “Let my people go,” because it was the assertion of the right of p

Which of these Signs will Prevent Another Tragedy?

Image
When I was a kid growing up in the rugged foothills outside of Boulder Colorado, me and my  dad would shoot bands of wild dogs and coyotes  who, from time to time, would pay us a visit looking to raid our chickens or anything else that met their fancy.  There was only one thing that would take care of this problem and that was a bullet. Which of these signs do you think would prevent some mad dog from going into a group of unarmed innocents and shooting at will? The Omega Letter Intelligence Digest Vol: 135 Issue: 17 - Monday, December 17, 2012 The Agenda   It is hard to say whether it is the product of non-stop propaganda or if it is simply collective stupidity.  After all, half of the people in any constituent grouping are below average for that constituent grouping.  That's what 'average' is supposed to represent -- the benchmark against which the rest of us measure ourselves. A person of average intelligence ought to be able to immediately grasp the message in

Desperately Wicked

Image
The Omega Letter Intelligence Digest Vol: 135 Issue: 15 - Saturday, December 15, 2012 Desperately Wicked!   There is no real way to process the news that another member of the human race could gun down twenty prepubescent children in cold blood.  It isn't something you can understand, even though you comprehend it. At best, we can comprehend it in the abstract -- the details are too painful to absorb without sustaining damage.  Even the shooter is a walking tragedy. It is a certainty that the media will follow the usual pattern, beginning with the standard soul-searching questions about  what is wrong with America , carefully constructed to elicit the correct answer, which is that there are  too many guns . What other answer could they possibly arrive at?  Certainly they aren't going to blame the very things that pay their bills, the very culture that the media has worked long and hard to help shape into what it is today. They aren't going to blame a culture that enc

Believer's Journey: Jesus Visits a Muslim in Prison

You know, I learned something today.  Many Muslims are extremely devout and it dawned on me that Jesus truly answered this young Muslims prayer and paid him a personal visit while he was in prison. Hallelujah!   For every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Amen! Yes, When You Are Saved, You Are Saved...

Image
As a paradox among hundreds if not thousands in the Bible, we're led to believe from the bible that once we believe that Jesus is our savior and accept this then we are saved, period... Primary verse is Titus 3:5, John 3:16. etc... no words follow these scriptures to say we are saved, BUT... And Then ... we read in the bible that we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling, Philippians 2:13....  ? Well, If Jesus paid the price and we buy into this by our belief, acceptance of this, then why must we work out our salvation?    Here are some powerful points to consider: The Omega Letter Intelligence Digest Vol: 135 Issue: 8 - Saturday, December 08, 2012 Elect of God   Sovereign election is one of those doctrines, like eternal security or dispensationalism, upon which everybody has an opinion, but few seem to fully understand. Election seems obviously true when viewed from the macro-level.  But it seems so unfair at the individual level that many simply choose
