(Deuteronomy 20:3-4) Moses is another example of those who lived by grace in the Old Testament. He knew the necessity of relying upon the sufficiency of God, instead of upon the inadequate resources of man. One illustration of this is seen when he pointed Israel to the Lord for battle. When the children of Israel would enter into the Promised Land, innumerable battles would lie before them. These battles were inevitable, since godless nations had entrenched themselves in the land: "because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD your God drives them out from before you" (Deuteronomy 9:5). I want to thank the Lord personally for what He has allowed me to find all these  years of searching!  But if didn't "have the faith" to believe that He would reveal anything to me, and sit around and "doubt" Him and scoff, well then,  He surely wouldn't be rewarding me here for my hard work day in and day out, would He! (Psalm 138:8) Again, we look at one of God's "precious promises" (2 Peter 1:4). This one pertains to His perfecting work in the lives of those who know Him and humbly depend upon Him. This priceless promise is the Old Testament antecedent of the one we recently considered from Philippians 1:6. "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it." Think of the astounding implications of our present promise. "The LORD will perfect that which concerns me." Our God has pledged to fully accomplish His will and His plan in every matter that pertains to our lives. Let's consider three important examples of "that which concerns [us]": development of biblical understanding, growth in godliness, and (for the married) spiritual progress in marriage. Has the Lord just unveiled the "In day the third Rapture" riddle??? Hey everyone, This morning I believe the Lord has led me to find the following. For a number of years now I have been working on this "in day the third Rapture" riddle.  Everywhere you find the phrase "In day the third" in the surface text of the Old Testament you will find encoded in this phrase on an equal letter skip of 2 the Hebrew term "Shiluv" which is the modern day Hebrew term for "Rapture." This is the Hebrew term you see in my gematria findings which has the value of 343. The "third day" theme in Scripture has great prophetic significance.
