GOD’S ONLY WAY TO HIS GLORIOUS AND ETERNAL SIN AND DEATH DELIVERANCE:
“When I see the Blood!”
“For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night [representing a place of sin], and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am [3:14] the LORD. And the blood shall be to you for a token [sign, miracle] upon the houses where ye are and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.”  Exodus 12:12-14         “For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.”  I Corinthians 5:7
ONLY CHRIST’S “PRECIOUS BLOOD,” STILL, NOW, AND FOREVER IN HEAVEN PURGES SIN! “WITHOUT SHEDDING OF [HIS] BLOOD IS NO REMISSION [OF SIN],” HEBREWS 9:22b!  BE SPIRITUALLY AMAZED!
The texts tell us the real beginning of the affective and sin-propitiation picture (Rom. 3:25) fully representing the blood shed of Christ, “to the Jew first!” Though animal sacrifices had been made before for centuries, the truth is that Paul wrote, that “can never take away sin,” (Heb. 10:11)! But God had said, “The life of the flesh is in the blood . . . the blood maketh an atonement for the soul,” (Lev. 17:11)! In the spiritual meaning, our eternal life is in the blood of Christ—and only as long as it will remain upon the mercy-seat/altar in heaven! Paul explained further, “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission,” (Heb. 9:27, and see 14)!
Surely though many ocean-tanker volumes full of animal blood was shed over the centuries, only Christ’s own blood is designated by God as the sin-redeeming, “precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot,” (I Pet. 1:18-19), and just as divinely “precious” as Jesus the Savior is to the believer, (2:6-7)!
When this preacher was a young man he heard of an effort by certain churches to take the “blood” out of their teaching and doctrine, and the same not even to be mentioned in services!  (The crudely were calling the Bible Gospel a “butcher-shop religion!”) Their song books were to be reprinted without any song that spoke of the blood, and none ever to be sung! In remembering now this ungodly attempt the truth of Hebrews 10:29 seems applicable, that these pretenders do first violate Christ Jesus—those “who hath trodden under foot the Son of God!” And Paul was right that they have “counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he [Christ] was sanctified [Jn. 10:36; 17:19], an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace!” No blood? No salvation, no righteousness of Christ, even also no God (Eph. 2:12), and only eternal punishment to look forward to suffering!
Christ’s blood will exist forever on the mercy seat in heaven (Heb. 9:12, 24), where he took every drop, all the red stain from the earth on which it fell in the Garden (Lu. 22:44) and from upon his own Calvary hill, off from the saturated Cross, the whip, the spatter on the clothing of his tormentors, and each and every surface where the tiniest sprinkle had landed during all the seven ways of his own “shedding” of his own blood, (Mat. 26:28)! In every suffered hurt he was yielding himself to wicked hands (Gal. 1:4: I Tim 2:6) so that all his blood was properly “shed” by himself!
In the first rays of sunlight of the very morning of his first appearances to Mary Magdalene all the blood upon every surface surely had disappeared, even from the probable still-standing cross perfectly cleaned down to the last molecule of that divine scarlet liquid! (The wicked surely had celebrated and danced for three days and nights, at his demise—maybe even around the bloody scene at Calvary, thinking they had finally achieved his riddance and his ongoing threat to ever exposing their ungodliness!
The blood containing his gift of eternal life (Jn. 5:26; 6:53-54) could “not putrefy,” (the words of a dear old Oregon Baptist preacher many years ago), but remained upon all the corrupted earthly surfaces for only the same “three days and three nights” (Mat. 12:39-40) that Jesus remained dead and still in the tomb.
According to Job’s prophecy including words of Jesus’ during his death, as Job made himself a type of Christ (Job. 16:6-21), even the soil on which Jesus blood fell could not mingle with his offered blood: “O earth, cover not thou my blood,” (16:18)!  Then Jesus, back in life again collected every drop and carried it to glory! And it had to be just as fresh and full of life as the moment it had been shed! His “life,” eternal life offered to believers, had to remain within his “precious [divinely honored] blood” for believers’ redemption, (I Pet. 1:19-20)!
When he first appeared to Mary Magdalene he told her not to “touch [hinder]” him (Jn. 20:17), for the greatest thing he had to do along with one other (Eph. 4:8-10; Lu. 23:43; II Cor. 12:4), was to ascend to heaven and take his blood to glory for all believers sins, (Rom. 3:25; Col. 1:14; I Jn. 1:7; 2:2; 4:10; Rev. 1:5)!
The likeness comparison—just the same as if he had not risen from the dead and we would still be in our sins (I Cor. 15:12-21), so if he had not shed every drop of his divine/human blood and offered it all in glory to the Father, we would still be lost and covered in dirty sin, blind and unknowing! We would remain putridly immersed in our own guilt and rottenness, and hearts as black as the coal of hell! His blood would never flow throughout his glorified body for it would remain on God’s altar forever!
(During his instituting the Lord’s Supper, and offering a spiritual type of his blood in the wine, after “he had dipped the sop [and] he gave it to Judas,” ending his last Passover meal, Judas “went immediately out,” [Jn. 13:21-31]! Only then did he use the remaining bread and wine to institute his own Communion! John, “leaning on Jesus’ bosom” [13:23, 25], witnessed this all! Judas had been exposed as Christ offered him the sop, and then he hurried away.
Then Christ instituted the Lord’s Supper with the eleven remaining Apostles, [Mat. 26:26-30]! And the detailed report by John above, which is only included only in John’s Gospel, fits harmoniously between Matthew’s verses 25, 26, where the Supper is described—certainly without Judas!)
There Jesus took the cup of the “blood of the new testament,” i.e., his ‘New Covenant’ (3:27-28), and told them to “Drink ye all of it!” Not one drop remained in the cup or was wasted, representing his completely drained body (Jn. 19:34; I Cor. 10:16; 11:27)! He was indicating that “all of it” was “for the many, for the remission of sin, (Mat. 3:26)! Not one drop of that wine representing his blood was wasted on Judas either! Judas did not drink, for had he done so Christ’s would have been facilitating a lie upon his own instituting his Communion—Judas mockingly taking of Christ’s blood which he really had no part in partaking as a lost, non-blood covered sinner, (Jn. 6:53-56)!
In its entirety in prophecy and in direct accounts, God’s word then gives seven ways (‘perfection, completion’) in which Christ did fully shed his own blood! It began upon his first voluntarily sweat-dropping in the Garden of Gethsemane, falling down to the ground, before any wicked hand was laid upon him, (Mat. 16:21)! When he was taken away to trial and crucifixion he was already blood drenched and with clothing stained by his own blood-sweat. (Few people have ever considered and recognized his real appearance from the first morning rays of light that illuminated his red countenance and blood-dyed clothing!)
Oh, the Gospel “according to the scriptures” (I Cor. 15:3-4), did not allow his being stoned to death (Jn. 8:59; 10:31), as some had tried to do! He was crucified and every tool of damage use to finish the complete draining of his body, but not even one little action against him, abuse, damage, inflicted wound, or even the tearing off of his beard and face-skin was done without his divine consent and physically giving his own body parts to be harmed!
The Gospel is preached so affectively and with much of God’s power (I Cor. 1:18), if that preaching not only proves the mild and only pitiful paintings by scripture-ignorant men of Jesus’ dying are really not of our Savior, but also the real view and despicable looking condition of his body and evident suffering (Isa. 52:14: 53:2; Ps. 22:6) even before he was nailed to the cross! Listen and imagine closely this evidence, and let the view of your mind see that time of our real Jesus with all this Bible information!
If the blood of Jesus has not been applied to all your very being, this upon your complete heart-belief (Rom. 10:9-10), God cannot even look toward you (Hab. 1:13) any more than he could upon Jesus under the condition of I Peter 2:24, and when he cried out the words that were prophesied 1000 years earlier, (Ps. 22:1; Mat. 27:46)! Isaiah prophesied of God’s actions: “For a small moment have I forsaken thee,” and “hid my face from thee for a moment” (Isa. 54:7-8), when his wrath of punishment was upon Jesus for our sin (II Cor. 5:21), but as it should have come instead upon all forgiven believers!
“When I see the blood I will pass over you!” Our sins are covered (Rom. 4:7) by all the seven ways Christ shed blood, even God’s allowance of their finishing this after his death! (It is important to see there are two incidences involving the crown separated by an amount of time of insult, much spitting, and mockery, the first pricking of the scalp not enough torture for at least one wicked man!)
1. Luke 22:44—In the Garden shedding his own blood-sweat, thereby covering his body and clothing with his own blood! (Rev. 19:13)
2. John 19:1—Whipped, his back “plowed” when he gave his own back! (Isa. 50:6; Psalm 129:3-4)

3. Isa. 50:6—Blood from his beard “plucked” off (face made baled, skin peeled, as in Eze. 29:18)
4. Matthew 27:29—“Platted [braided] a crown of thorns, and put it [hostilely imposed] on his head . . . and a reed [rod, scepter] in his right hand.”  At this first event from the thorn tips his blood oozed out in droplets, picturing the “sprinkling” of blood of dedication and sanctification, like Moses, half to sprinkle and the rest in basons, (Ex. 24:6; I Peter 1:2)!
For some time so many spit in his face, more than one spitting event, blinding him (Mark 14:65; 15:18-19), “buffeted. . .striking,” mocking him as “king,” “despising,” etc., (Psalm 22:12-13; Isaiah 50:6; 53:3-7; Mat. 27:29-30)!
5. Matthew 27:30—Then they “took the reed/rod from his hand and smote him on the head,” surely driving the long thorns of the crown deeply into his scalp and skull!  Here is the second thorn-caused blood event, the picture of the pouring out of blood from Moses’ basons, as the “blood of thy sacrifices poured out upon the altar,” (Deut. 12:27; I Cor. 5:7)! This the more did cause much greater blood flow down over his complete face and head, and fully down the front of his breast! A “Lamb to the slaughter” (Isa. 53:7), he would have finally appeared almost as if his throat had been cut!
Now remember all this and consider his appearance by this time (Psalm 22:6; Isa. 52:14-15; 53:2-3), certainly not like the worldly, scripturally ignorant artists have tried to paint him! And Dear Readers, he was not yet on the Cross! Finally that would come!
6. Psalm 22:16—Blood from his “pierced hands and feet!” (Zech. 12:10; Mat. 27:35; Jn. 19:37; 20:25-27: Col. 2:14)!
7. John 19:32-37—"Blood and Water" “He was dead already. . .With a spear [they] pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.” (I Jn. 5:6-13) Upon this last draining of his body all of his blood had been completely shed for sin washing and soul preservation!
______________________________________
“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us,” (Heb. 9:12)! “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,” (Heb. 12:20)!  “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,” (Rev. 1:5)!
Let this Gospel component dwell in your heart, preach and teach it, and let God prove it's power to reach wicked sinner's hearts!
