I glory in my infirmities #Hallelujah #Maranatha

Background:

A most profound and deeply personal revelation has been developing in my life and I’m compelled in the spirit to share with the body of Christ.

God knows my heart and purpose for writing these words and that is I wish to equip and encourage the Saints for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ to whom be the glory forever, Amen.

53 years ago, in December 1967, I suffered a terrible personal medical tragedy which handicapped me in many ways and severely altered my life. I spent several days in the hospital praying for a miracle, but none came. The sobering day on that cold dark winter day in Boulder, Colorado in January 1968 when the chief surgeon informed me there was nothing medically possible for me and I’d spend the rest of my life with a debilitating handicap.

Fast forward to June 2021. I was informed by a doctor during a routine medical exam that there was new technology at hand that could correct my problem completely. I became extremely excited and thought I had received a breakthrough and would be restored. However on July 21, 2021 after consulting with the surgeon specializing in my case,  I was informed that although medical technology was available, the medical risks and complications in my case (most likely my age) was very strongly not recommended. In fact, the surgeon rejected the notion of even considering this option. Even though I had been cautioned not to get my hopes too high, I must admit that I was floored. More specifically, I felt like someone just kicked me in the stomach and as I was falling to the floor they added a boot to the head for good measure. The pious arrogance of the surgeon’s expression added salt to the wound.

That night after dinner I prayed in earnest for our Heavenly Father to reveal what I had just experienced and why in the world I was lifted up unexpectedly - just to get kicked in the face. ESSENTIAL NOTE: It was not until I surrendered my self pity and began praising the Heavenly Father did the answer clearly come to me and bless me... ( 1 Thessalonians 5:18

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

King James Version (KJV) )

REVELATION

Here’s what the Holy Spirit revealed to me and this is the meat I want to share:

Before my accident in 1967, I was extremely proud and confident. I had a perfectly fine physical body and a sharp mind. After being broken down and suffering physically and emotionally for 40 years - in 2008, I received a completely different commission from God The Father, Though The Lord Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit to sell everything and travel overseas on a Missionary Journey. See notes below on the significance of the number 40. There was no way humanly possible I could have ever completed what I completed in my own natural strength or ability.

Thirteen years later, in 2021 which was 53 years after that dreadful day in 1967, I was told my case was truly hopeless even though medical science had made major advancements. See notes below on the significance of the number 53.

While in Bible study this morning the Holy Spirit further revealed the following scriptures and if we put this all together we can learn that our Christian walk is NEVER about us personally. Not about our feelings, strength, mental prowess, or anything in the flesh. But rather our Christian walk is all about Christ Jesus and our service and calling to Him. Praise God! Maranatha!

2 Corinthians 11:30
King James Version

30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

Philippians 3:14
King James Version

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 12:9
King James Version

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

On earth, the number 53 represents Jesus Christ : Perfectly human being (5) and perfectly God (3). 53 is an indivisible number, as human beings we are indivisible with God. The number 53 represents the perfect life on earth: A man whose conscience is led by the Holy Spirit of God, the life of Jesus Christ. Our destiny is to reach that perfection.

It turns out that the 4 Gospels present Jesus Christ as the Perfect Servant, the Rescuer, the Pastor and God himself. Mathew presents Jesus Christ as the Rescuer. Mark presents him as the Servant. Luke presents him as the Pastor . And John presents him as God.

The number 8 ( 5 + 3)
