Wim Wenders fascination with fallen angel's  intentions with mankind as witnessed in his most famous film WINGS OF DESIRE.

Why did Wim Wenders leave Catholicism and become a Protestant, yet never let go of his Jesuit Roots and honor of the Pope?  Wim Wenders admittedly has worshipped Saint Francis of Assisi and has admitted Pope Francis is the exact persona as Saint Francis of Assisi
