Praise God for Rejection, dear Saint, Praise God
Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:4-5)
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Matthew 21:42
The Holy Spirit made this very clear to me this morning... Whenever I have flashbacks of past rejections by man, Christians and family hurt the most, whenever I experience current REJECTION I MUST REMEMBER to Look up and Praise God. Praise God that He loves me enough to bring me out from them and away from them to set me apart and give me the great honor of being cast out from among them.... Praise God I've been found worthy to suffer the same fate as my Lord Jesus.... Praise God, I know I've been to the CROSS and my old man died there at that old rugged, blood stained cross..... Praise God, Praise God and Praise God........ the servant is not greater than the master. (REJECTION MEANS Brown, Driver, Briggs Lexicon, they list the meanings of sone and its permutations as "hate, hatred, abhor, detest, foe, etc." They also note that it can be used in some cases for "revulsion/repulsed." The examples they give are 2 Sam 13:15, Dt 22:13, 16; and 24:3. / http://hermeneutics.stackexchange.com/questions/1532/can-mean-rejected)
Dear brother or sister or unbeliever,,, find this peace by asking Jesus to come now and show you the CROSS.... AMEN....
Amen dear sister... Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good word. It hurts like heck too when it comes from friends and family. "Christian" ones with an antichrist spirit at that. The world no longer feels safe and I guess it never was.
ReplyDeleteGod is burning off the "self" in us in the refiner's fires through rejection and slander and hate.
Yeah, that's for sure Shelby... Thanks for sharing.
