What Happened When I Turned My Eyes Upon Jesus...

HEBREWS 12:2: .... Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.....

I sang this song growing up in church, "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full into His wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."

Today, I saw these words on some Blog I was reading and I stopped and softly whispered these words to Jesus. "Dear Jesus it's been a long time since I've uttered those words, please listen to me say them to you again, 'I turn my eyes upon you dear Jesus. I look fully into Your wonderful face and for sure the things of this world do grow strangely dim in the light of Your glory and grace. Thank you Jesus. Amen!"

Immediately, the many confusing thoughts of this and that and what abouts and how about that and why this and why that, and whens and what ifs............................ all stopped...it all stopped and it got super quiet and a peaceful calm filled my heart... Moments of quiet peace and then I heard this still small voice saying to me, "I love you and I know more about what your needs are than you do. Trust me and everlasting love shall be your pillow tonight."

HALLELUJAH PRAISE THE LORD....

COME QUICKLY DEAR LORD JESUS.

AMEN!!!
