 Bible Code....."The Moon into Blood."
Everyone is trying to make these upcoming "4 blood moons" a sign for the Rapture of the Church.  They are taking Joel's prophecy totally out of context by doing so.  Joel's prophecy has no application to the Church age or the opening of the "Day of the Lord" because Joel's prophecy applies to thetribulation judgments on down towards the "close"of thetribulation period ( a little more on this down the page ).
If there is any "prophetic validity, significance, or connection between these upcoming 4 blood moons and the coming covenant with death and tribulation period????????  Then they apply to "Israel only" and therefore they have NO application to the Rapture of the Church whatsoever.  The Rapture precedes the "Covenant with death" and the beginning of the tribulation period.
The Rapture of the Church is an "imminent event" which needs NO signs whatsoever.  The ONLY THING the Church is instructed to watch for is the "blessed hope", which is the appearing of Christ for His Church.  We are NEVER told nor instructed in the New Testament epistles of Paul to look for any "one specific heavenly astronomical sign" in the heavens,  but rather that we are only to be looking for Christ Himself and His appearing which could happen at any moment.
People have taken Joel's prophecy ( The sun will be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord come ) out of context.   This text is a "second advent text" in relationship to the "close" of the tribulation period and the appearing of Christ in the heavens who is returning to the earth, and it has no application to the "opening" of the "Day of the Lord" as many are trying to interpret.  The "Day of the Lord" begins with the Rapture of the Church.  The "day of grace" is over at the time of the Rapture and the "Day of the Lord" begins.
And it shall be in the last days,’ God says,
That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind;
Now Peter quotes Joel's prophecy on the day of Pentecost as a "defense" against the accusations that were being made and directed toward the 120 in the upper room who were accused of being drunk with wine ( Acts 2:14 -22 ).  Peter was using Joel's prophecy in order to show the "similarity" between that which had just taken place on the day of Pentecost and that which will yet take place in the future when Christ returns once again.
The The Holy Spirit was NOT poured out upon all mankindon the day of Pentecost, but only on the 120 in the upper room.  This prediction in Joel's prophecy is yet to be fulfilled in the future.  When Christ returns to the earth and destroy's all His enemies,  then He will judge and determine whatliving Jews ( Matt. 25:1- 30 ) and what living Gentiles ( Matt. 25:31 - 46 ) will be allowed entry into His earthly kingdom.  No unbelieving / unredeemed Jew or Gentile who survived the judgments and who is NOT saved when Christ returns will NOTbe allowed to enter into Christ's earthly kingdom, but instead they will be "excluded" ( the unbelieving Jews Matt. 25:10 -13, 30 ) and also the ( unbelieving Gentiles Matt. 25:41 - 46 ) and will be put to death.
The Holy Spirit during the Church age seals every believer at the time of their conversion to Christ ( Eph. 1:13,  4:30 ) and places them into the one body of Christ ( 1 Cor. 1:13;   Eph. 4:4,5 ).    According to Jesus in John 14:16, 17 the Holy Spirit( once He has entered the believer ) remains with the believerforever.  He ( The Holy Spirit ) never leaves the believer at anytime, nor for any reason whatsoever because "sin" had been paid for in full by Christ on the cross, all sin past, present, and future.   Therefore His once and for all death for all sin for all time is what makes our salvation "eternal " andNOT conditional. And this is why we can have eternal life, which is forever and NOT temporary!
At the time of the Rapture the special indwelling ministries of the Holy Spirit which were operating within the believer during the Church age will cease with the completion of the Church and the Holy Spirit will once again return back to heaven "with the complete body of Christ" where He will be "officiating" ( His office ) once again from heaven as He did prior to His descent on the day of Pentecost .  Therefore NO believer ( mature or immature ) will be left behind at the time of the Rapture sinceALL ( every member of the body of Christ ) are permanently indwelt forever and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore those who are saved after the Raptureduring the tribulation period will not have the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit as the Church saints did during the Church age.  Those tribulation saints will still be saved "by faith in Christ alone" and converted in heart just like we were, but they will NOT be indwelt with God's Holy Spirit.  The Church is "one body", being made up of many members ( 1 Cor. 12:13;   Eph. 4:4,5 ).  It is the indwelling ministry of God's One Holy Spirit which makes this possible. When Christ completes "His body" the Church, then His "restraining hand" through theHoly Spirit will no longer be needed anymore for the purpose of restraining the "man of sin" who will then be allowed to come onto the world stage and be revealed ( 2 Thess. 2:6 -12 ).
Here below is Joel's prophecy which Peter quoted on the day of Pentecost as a "defense" against those who were accusing the 120 of being drunk with wine in only the third hour of the day ( 9:00 in the morning ).

And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy............. (Israel's sons and daughters )
And your young men shall see visions................... ( Israel'syoung men )
And your old men shall dream dreams; ............( Israel's old men ).
Even on My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit And they shall prophesy.
( the "bondslaves" are the believing Gentiles who survive and who come through the tribulation period )

And I will grant wonders in the sky above And signs on the earth belowBlood, and fire, and vapor of smoke."
This verse is clearly a reference to the tribulation judgments.
The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into bloodBefore the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come. And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
The events in this verse above happens at the time of the second advent of Christ to the earth Matthew 24:29 ).
Many are confused on Joel's prophecy which Peter quotes in the book of Acts 2:17 - 21 due to some of the "translations" of this text of Joel in the book of Acts.  Therefore many have misinterpreted this text because they assume that those things which are mentioned "before" this verse..."sun being darkened and the moon turned into blood" is speaking of events just "prior" to the Rapture....{ I will be writing another short article about the "Greek" term which is used here in Acts 2:20 }.
This text here in Joel is in complete harmony with Matthew 24: 4- 25 , 29, 30.  Joel's prophecy is yet to find its fulfillment at the time of the second advent of Christ to the earth when He appears in the heavens ( Matthew 24:30 ).  It has nothing to do with the "opening" of the "Day of the Lord" as many are trying to interpret.  Once Christ returns, then He will judge Israel and the nations who survived in order to see who will enter His kingdom.  Once this judgment has concluded, then the Holy Spirit will once again return to indwell those believers who survived the seven year tribulation period
It is at that time that the Holy Spirit will be "poured out upon all flesh " ( second advent / opening of the millennium ), sinceALL FLESH who will be allowed entry into the 1000 year reign of Christ will all be "believers."  This was not so on the day ofPentecost for the Holy Spirit only came upon the 120 in the upper room.  The Holy Spirit can only "indwell" people who have been saved and made righteous through Christ, as no unbeliever can nor ever will possess God's Holy Spirit due to the fact that they do NOT possess God's righteousness.
If people would just read the Peter's quote from Joel's prophecy in Acts 2 in its "order and sequence" in which it is laid out, then they would be able to clearly see that what Joel speaks of........"I will grant wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth below, blood, fire, and vapor of smoke / The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood...etc..etc." is clearly speaking about the tribulation judgments and the "close" of the tribulation period which concludes with Christ returning in the heavens.   Joel 2:17 - 21 and Matthew 24:4 - 30 are in complete harmony with one another and are speaking about the same events.
( I will be sending out another short article on Joel's prophecy )
