Really grabbing onto 1 Corinthians Chapter 2 KJB
1 Corinthians 2 KJV
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:16
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
King James Version (KJV)
Galatians 2:9
“And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.”
King James Version (KJV)
Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
King James Version (KJV)
Ephesians 2:5-14 KJV
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
11
Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Colossians 2:6-23 KJV
6
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19
And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
20
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21
(Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22
Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23
Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
What's the bottom line here?
Jesus Christ alone is our indwelling, our sufficiency, our master. We are His and He is Ours. We dwell IN Him and He dwells in Us.
If we try to follow Jesus Christ by the rules of man through legalism, asceticism (denial of the flesh), or philosophy or RELIGIOUS Church building practices, we are OUT OF FELLOWSHIP with Him and are STRIVING UNLAWFULLY.
WHEN WE COME TO THE END OF OURSELVES AND OUR RELIGIONS AND PRACTICES, WE KNOW THAT WE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST AND HE IS IN US. WE MOVE AND ACT AND LIVE IN THIS FAITH KNOWING THAT OUR FLESH IS WORTHLESS AND NOTHING WE DO TO DEFEAT IT OR BEAT IT DOWN BY PRACTICES OR SELF DENIAL - RELIGION WORKS... BUT ONLY FAITH... WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH ALONE. AMEN!
A Christian when they are born again by simply BELIEVING they are saved when they believe that Jesus Christ CAME and DIED on the Cross FOR OUR SINS, He was BURIED and ROSE AGAIN the 3rd Day, begins a new LIFE IN FAITH ALONE.
Faith is simply believing that what God says in the proper dispensation of the AGE OF GRACE is an established FACT and EXISTS presently in our LIVES. In all areas of our lives. Although we may not understand at first, we exercise our mental faculty to accept AS FACT what our Spirit already fully knows.
This concept is so foreign to the logic of man's flesh. We in our fallen nature love the philosophy of man's wisdom and the traditions of man, we love vain imaginations that seem as sweet as honey and we cling desperately to the rudiments of this world. But Paul warns us strongly in Colossians 2:8 KJV : "BEWARE LETS ANY MAN SPOIL YOU THROUGH PHILOSOPHY AND VAIN DECEIT, AFTER THE TRADITION OF MEN, AFTER THE RUDIMENTS OF THIS WORLD AND NOT AFTER CHRIST.
To live effectively, To strive lawfully WE MUST move in the word of God as it directly applies to us in this age of GRACE. THE GOSPEL OF GRACE. Here is my study on this:
To be a Good Soldier for Jesus We have to Know our Authority and Responsibility in order to Strive Lawfully (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

Come Meet my Kinsman Redeemer
https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2021/10/come-meet-my-kinsman-redeemer.html
We do NOT play religion, go through rigid rules and practices placed on us by others FOR EXAMPLE: Don't practice Christmas, don't watch movies, Worship on Saturday's - Sabbath keeping. etc, pay your tithes, attend church services, Serve in church. etc.
We move freely in the Spirit and get our instructions in the Spirit (which matches perfectly with God's word rightly divided - Age of Grace vs Kingdom Dispensation and Law). WARNING: This does NOT give us license to sin. This is hyper Grace. Paul warns those who confused and abused GRACE. Read Romans 6:1 KJV.
But HOW does God teach us to really understand and truly believe as an exercise of our mind to TRUST in what we believe?
Only through exercising our faith and having our faith tested through experience and experimentation.
Why does Jesus require "experimental belief" (thethirdheaventraveler.com)
https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2012/05/why-does-jesus-require-experimental.html
Scripture proving the importance of experience - experimentation of trials. When we conduct an experiment, we have proven something by actual observation - hence moving from theory to proof.
2 Corinthians 5:6,7 KJV, James 1:2-6 KJV, Psalms 27:2,3 KJV, 2 2 Corinthians 1:4-6 KJV, Romans 5:4, 15:4 KJV.
QUOTE by George Mueller: "To learn strong faith is to endure great trials. I have learned faith by standing firm amid severe testings."
Charles Spurgeon supposedly said God's great love for Daniel was proven by him being thrown into the Lion's Den. Because Great Faith Demands Severe Exercise.
Truly, whatever God wants us to learn, He will give us plenty of opportunity to do it, to experience it, and how ever many times it takes before we’ve learned, he’ll take us back to that point a hundred times. God is patient.
As Oswald Chambers says, “God does not ask us to DO the things that are naturally easy for us – He only asks us to DO the things that we are perfectly fit to do through His grace, and that is where the cross we must bear will always come.”
See my studies that brought me out of the church building rules and RELIGION. Note: These Blogs were written several years ago and there may be content with NKJV before I realized that the NKJV was just as perverted as the ESV, NIV, NASB modern translations.

. Why I use the term The Third Heaven Traveler. John Bunyon's life when he wrote "Pilgrim's Progress". It was written in his darkest yet most glorious time while suffering in prison for preaching GRACE and NOT RELIGION. John wrote: This book will make a traveller of you."
A Pilgrim is a traveler, not having a true home on this earth but by living by FAITH in what has already been accomplished by Christ Jesus. We move in the Spirit and literally WE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST right now with Him in the 3rd Heaven we sit in him and are in heavenly places. Knowing this IS OUR SUSTAINING POWER. Amen!
