I was asked to watch this video by this guy who is an obvious Zionist and has a limited understanding of scripture but he does get some things right. Let me briefly summarize where I agree and disagree. I post at least 5 of my Blog links for those who would like to study this out for themselves.

Understanding current events showing God's purpose and the timing of the Rapture
- The Rapture is imminent — Yes, this is correct and scriptural (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18). No signs need to precede it; it can happen at any moment.
- Gog-Magog is at end of Tribulation.. HOWEVER this man misses the point that it involves two distinct wars — We must distinguish Ezekiel 38 (post-millennial, after Satan is released from the bottomless pit — Revelation 20:7-9) from Ezekiel 39 (at the end of the Tribulation, tied to Armageddon). Many teachers conflate these into one event, but the timing and details differ significantly.
- Psalm 83 is NOT a U.S.-led (or human-led) war against Iran, nor is it imminent in the way the speaker suggests
Psalm 83 is a prophetic prayer/imprecatory psalm describing a confederacy of nations coming against Israel, with God Himself supernaturally intervening for total victory (Psalm 83:9-18). This is divine judgment, not a conventional war involving the United States. It aligns with the Red Horse of the Seal Judgments (Revelation 6:3-4) — part of World War 3 during the early Tribulation — leading to the rise of the Antichrist and a false peace covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27). It is not a pre-Tribulation event fulfilled by modern military strikes.
For deeper study: My blog post directly addresses this — The Psalm 83 War and Destruction of Damascus —- and contrasts it clearly with Ezekiel 38-39 wars: Russia Invasion of Israel is NOT Before the Tribulation.
- The "serpent/snake" of Genesis 3 is Satan, NOT Iran
This is a major error. Genesis 3:1-15 explicitly identifies the serpent as Satan (confirmed in Revelation 12:9 and 20:2). Linking it symbolically or prophetically to modern Iran is eisegesis (reading into the text) and distracts from the clear spiritual reality of Satan's role as the ultimate deceiver and enemy.
- The speaker's Zionist lens distorts the prophecy and ignores key biblical mysteries
Much modern prophecy teaching is heavily influenced by Christian Zionism, which often conflates modern geopolitical Israel with biblical promises in a way that overlooks the New Testament "mystery" (Ephesians 3:1-9; Romans 11:25-26) — the church as the body of Christ, distinct from national Israel, and the fulfillment of promises in Christ rather than a restored earthly kingdom in the same form. This leads to misreading wars like Psalm 83 as mandatory support for modern Israel's actions.
My blogs expose this clearly:
- "Peace and safety; then sudden destruction" (1 Thessalonians 5:3) is NOT a U.S. strike on Iran
This verse describes the onset of the Day of the Lord — the beginning of the Tribulation period itself — when the world believes it has achieved security (likely after the chaos of the early seals, including the false peace under Antichrist). It is not tied to a specific pre-Trib strike on Iran or any isolated military event. Linking it to current headlines forces the text into a sensationalist mold rather than letting Scripture interpret itself.
