I am in a state of wonder and awe at the power of the pure words of God as written in holy scripture: the KJV, Authorized Version. Along with that wonder is often a disonance when supposed synonyms are used in place of pure words. Most times I recognize this as an acceptable way to explain doctrinal points, but using the synonyms in place of the actual word in a given text brings mental and spiritual discomfort... One perfect example is the prevailant, popular useage of (whether malicious or out of ignorance) yahweh as God's name rather than the perfect name Jehovah.
Point being, since "demon" never once occurs in the AV, it's use brings that disonance to my mind/spirit, would you perhaps be willing to study this out and help me resolve the issue? I've pondered it and studied to the best of my ability and haven't been able to come to a solid conclusion about whether I'm just being petty and need to "let it go" or whether that disonance is from the Holy Spirit attempting to bring an error/misuse to light, for the purpose of correction...

In the same spirit of grace and liberty:
I cannot judge your conscience where doctrine is untouched—

In my video [2:05], I said “perverse doctrine of demons,” echoing but NOT QUOTING 1 Timothy 4:1 KJV.
I need to be mindful of that and state: “doctrines of devils.” 1 Timothy 4:1 KJV:

I would personally be far more concerned IF I would have been reading from 1 Timothy 4:7 KJV But I was not. Nevertheless, thank you.
However, there is a great deal here that must be a CASE STUDY and I am treating this as such.
True KJV adherence is DOCTRINAL —defending meaning against real corruptions (e.g., Galatians 2:16: “by the faith of Christ” vs. modern “in Christ,” shifting justification from Christ’s faithfulness to ours). I have literally hundreds of hours of study videos and blogs on this.
S, the issue is never the word—it is the meaning in context of the word and HOW THIS APPLIES TO DOCTRINE. The issue must always regard DOCTRINE when examining WORDS. I have gone over this hundreds of times in my Blogs and Videos.

I wish you’d be so “dissonant” regarding the HYPER DISPENSATIONAL TEACHING THAT MOCKS THE MYSTERY of the Church but I digress.
The word “Demons” is a synonym for the word “Devils”.
There is only clarification here, no corruption.

Please study the word Liberty vs Freedom and why the KJV uses Liberty and Not Freedom in 2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV.
Please take the time to understand why this word difference in CONTEXT TO DOCTRINE IS A BIG DEAL and why “demon” vs “devil” in context of my speaking but NOT quoting scripture is straining at a gnat.

You correctly note that “Yahweh” is not the name revealed in Scripture (Jehovah appears in Exodus 6:3, Psalm 83:18, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 26:4), yet you build a straw-man by equating it with the use of “demon”—a modern English word conveying the exact same doctrine as the KJV’s “devils” (plural) for evil spirits.
In short: you compared two terms that are doctrinally different (Yahweh vs. Jehovah) with two that are doctrinally identical (demon vs. devils).

Strong’s G1140 and its forms (e.g., δαιμονίων in 1 Timothy 4:1—“doctrines of devils”). This is the same word translated “devils” throughout the Gospels (Matthew 8:31; Mark 5:12; Luke 8:30). The KJV translators chose “devils” because in 1611, “demon” still carried pagan/classical baggage (Plato’s neutral or benevolent “daemons”). They avoided ambiguity, reserving “the devil” for Satan (diabolos) and “devils” for his evil spirit minions.
Modern English uses “demon” exclusively for evil spirits—identical doctrine, perfect synonym for clarity. FOR CLARITY. I am not changing DOCTRINE S.
Do the homework S. Go get an Oxford English Dictionary hard copy and read on page 683. The word DEMON is clearly a Synonym for the words: DEVIL - FOUL SPIRITS - EVIL SPIRITS ETC taken from its Greek Origin from the Textus Receptus. The same used in other scriptures in the KJV:

Devils (Matthew 8:31; 10:8)
Unclean spirits (Mark 1:23–27; 5:2,8—same Gadarene account Luke calls “devils”)
Foul spirit (Revelation 18:2)
Scripture freely uses synonyms to teach truth:
God: Jehovah, Lord, Almighty, Most High, I AM
Salvation: saved, justified, redeemed, born again, quickened
Evil spirits: devils, unclean spirits, foul spirits

What bothers me most is your choice of word, “Your appeal to personal “dissonance” (discomfort) reveals the trap: cognitive dissonance from rigid preference clashing with truth. It fixates on isolated forms/letters rather than the harmonious doctrine Scripture conveys (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Corinthians 3:6). This is not Holy Spirit conviction, but preference elevated to doctrine—the legalism Jesus rebuked (Matthew 23:23).
I saw the exact paradigm when dealing with you regarding the MYSTERY of the Church and your “strict” “rigid” preference of Romans to Philemon is only for the Church and the Church has not part in the Kingdom of God - Millennial Kingdom Rule on Earth. Etc. You can not use your Carnal mind SOUL to override doctrine, This must not happen. I included the TREE of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Doctrine study above.
