2 Timothy 3:16

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

King James Version (KJV)

The Purpose of this Study is ultimately to bring Honor and Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ who WAS and IS and IS TO COME forever Amen!

I found the following Twitter X Post here below by this Pastor who preaches the GOSPEL,  is KJV only and Premillennial. I also checked his website and everything looks good.  I don't know their stance on the Godhead or full eschatology including the MYSTERY. I a little bothered by their "SOCIAL GOSPEL" stuff going on in some of their International Global outreach.

But, for now I have subscribed to his Twitter Account and like the way he stands against so many heresies of the likes of the WOLF PAUL WASHER and his damnable heresies of WORKS based Salvation under Lordship Salvation. *

What is Lordship Salvation?Lordship salvation is a theological position within evangelical Christianity that emphasizes that genuine saving faith in Jesus Christ necessarily involves submitting to Him as Lord (master/ruler) of one's life, not just trusting Him as Savior from sin. Key elements include:
  • Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, but true faith is never alone—it produces repentance from sin, obedience, and fruit/works as evidence of regeneration.
  • One cannot "accept Jesus as Savior" while rejecting His lordship; the gospel call requires turning from sin (repentance) and yielding to Christ's authority upfront.
  • Lack of ongoing obedience or life change may indicate false profession of faith (e.g., referencing Matthew 7:21-23: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom").

I.E., Another Gospel that is accursed in accordance with Galatians 1:8,9 KJV.

Twitter X post on 3 February 2025 where this Paul is rebuking Paul Washer:

Note: REGRETFULLY this Pastor Paul is another one who does NOT understand the MYSTERY. I found him posting about the SEPARATION of Israel from the Church.

This is the difference in a nutshell. Biblical assurance rests on Christ and His promises. The modern “Washer model” shifts assurance onto my performance, my fruit, and my constant self-examination. One produces peace and rest. The other produces fear and lifelong uncertainty. I’ll take a Bible on an open table over a personality on a platform every time.

My Response:

Thank you for making a strong stand against Paul Washer’s damnable heresy.

Please allow me to take it a step closer to the ultimate DOCTRINE of Soteriology: “We - of the FAITH "OF" JESUS CHRIST having been saved by His Grace e in accordance with 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 2:8,9 KJV, knowing He is IN us and we IN Him [Romans 8:9, Ephesians 2:6, 1 John 4:13 KJV) - KNOW (spiritually discerned) we are JUSTIFIED by the FAITH "OF" JESUS CHRIST.

Few understand this key essential Preposition “OF” and why the King James Bible gets it right and the modern bibles corrupt the truth.

Romans 3:21-26; Galatians 2:16, 2:20 KJV

ALL CORRUPT BIBLE TRANSLATIONS* TELL US THAT WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY OUR FAITH “IN” JESUS CHRIST BUT THE KING JAMES BIBLE CORRECTLY TELLS US THAT WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY THE FAITH “OF” JESUS CHRIST.

Although I realize you’re using John 3:37 to counter Washer’s damnable works based salvation, we have to understand that John 3:37 KJV says, “BELIEVE “ON” and NOT Believe “IN”. This harmonizes with Romans 3:22-26 and Galatians 2:16, 20 KJV. Because it is the FAITH OF JESUS we believe ON.

John 3:36

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

King James Version (KJV)

It also harmonizes with ALL JUSTIFICATION (saved by grace) scriptures in the New Testament that use faith “of” Jesus and not faith “in”.

This is directly related to the study of “The Objective Faith of Jesus Christ” (Understanding the Object of a sentence.)

https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2025/04/the-objective-faith-of-jesus-christ-as.html

The question comes up about other KJV NT scriptures that use Faith “In”.

This is a very subtle change that many overlook. These scripture all in CONTEXT show the effectual work of once a person is saved in how we have that FAITH OF JESUS ROOTED in us Luke 8:13 KJV we KNOW we are Justified and we now have our FAITH in Him. Amen.

Highlighting a pattern in KJV phrasing where:

Verses directly tied to the mechanism of justification (being declared righteous apart from works) predominantly use "faith of" Christ/Jesus phrasing, emphasizing Christ's own faithfulness/obedience as the objective ground.

In contrast, references to the believer's ongoing life after salvation (sanctification, assurance, daily trust) more often use "faith in/toward/on" phrasing, describing our personal reliance placed upon that finished work of Christ.

This is a subtle but real distinction in wording, and it supports a view that avoids making justification depend on the quality/strength of our faith (which could border on works). Instead, we rest on His faith(fulness) for right standing, and then exercise personal faith in Him thereafter.

WORKS BASED HERETICS LOVE TWISTING THIS...

This aligns with the subjective genitive interpretation of the "pistis Christou" debate. Let's elaborate with KJV evidence.

Pattern in Justification Contexts: Predominant "Faith Of" Phrasing The "faith of" construction appears exclusively in Paul's letters, and almost entirely in passages explaining how sinners are justified (declared righteous) before God without law-keeping:

Verse

Exact KJV Phrasing

Justification Context

Romans 3:22

"by faith of Jesus Christ"

Righteousness of God manifested apart from law, "unto all and upon all them that believe."

Galatians 2:16 (twice)

"by the faith of Jesus Christ" / "by the faith of Christ"

"Not justified by works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ."

Galatians 2:20

"by the faith of the Son of God"

Paul lives "by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Galatians 3:22

"by faith of Jesus Christ"

Scripture concluded all under sin "that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe."

Philippians 3:9

"through the faith of Christ"

Not having own righteousness by law, but "that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith."

Key Observation: These are the only "faith of" occurrences in the entire KJV New Testament (plus Rev 14:12, which is about endurance in tribulation, not initial justification).

They cluster in arguments against works-righteousness, suggesting the ground

of justification is Christ's perfect faithfulness (His active obedience to the Father, culminating in the cross). Personal belief is mentioned alongside (e.g., "them\ that believe"), but the justifying instrument/means is phrased as "faith of" Christ.

Amazing here is after we are saved:

Post-Salvation Contexts: "Faith In/Toward/On" Phrasing

Once justified, Scripture describes the believer's ongoing relationship as exercising personal faith directed toward Christ:

Verse

Exact KJV Phrasing

Post-Salvation Context

Acts 20:21

"faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ"

Repentance toward God and faith toward Christ as the gospel message to Jews/Gentiles.

Colossians 1:4

"your faith in Christ Jesus"

Thanksgiving for the Colossians' already-existing faith and love.

Colossians 2:5

"your faith in Christ"

Joy over their order and steadfastness in faith.

1 Timothy 3:13

"faith which is in Christ Jesus"

Deacons gain boldness "in the faith which is in Christ Jesus."

2 Timothy 3:15

"faith which is in Christ Jesus"

Scriptures able to make wise unto salvation "through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

John 3:36

"believeth on the Son"

Present possession of eternal life vs. wrath abiding (ongoing state).

These emphasize directional trust — the saved person's continual resting in/on/toward Christ for daily life, assurance, and growth.

Justification passages lean heavily on "faith of" to guard against self-reliance.

Believer-life passages use "faith in/on/toward" to describe our response.

The ground of justification is Christ's faithfulness ("faith of").

We receive it by personally trusting/placing faith in/on Him ("believeth on," "believed in").

Once saved, we continue in that same directed faith.

AMEN!

Another tool these evil doers work is twisting James 2 works unto salvation. In the exhaustive study we can prove that it is the FINISHED WORK of the Cross that is the WORKS that James is speaking of here in James 2.

James 2:24

“Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”

King James Version (KJV)

Saved by Grace = Our Justification is by the FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST And our Sanctification is our FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST Justification (being declared righteous, saved by grace) rests on the "faith OF Jesus Christ" — interpreted as Christ's own perfect faithfulness/obedience (His finished work on the cross), not our personal faith (works). Sanctification (daily living, growth) involves our "faith IN Jesus Christ" — our trusting response post-salvation. The modern Bible translations preach another Gospel and twist this truth.
