Rebuttal of Bible Verses Used by Trinitarians

Part 1

The belief of the trinity goes back to Babylonian times. The belief is that there are three separate gods [persons] and/or deities that are united as one. The worship of the trinity god is that of Baal, who was also a trinity god and is the worship of satan. Baal has many names in many languages after God confused the peoples languages at the tower of babble. The worship of any god outside of the true God of scripture is considered Baal [Satan] worship and will cause one's soul to be sent to hell. As it shows in the verses below that, although the Israelites were as numerous as the sands of the seas, God only saved 7,000 who did not worship Baal! This is quite an eye opener, yet it is stated many times throughout scripture!

1Ki 19:18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. {KJV}

Rom 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved {KJV}

The pagan trinity doctrine was slowly brought into the Christian church between 200 and 400 AD. Satanic men started to use philosophy to interpret scripture rather than believing God's words on the pages of scripture. They started out with the false premise of a triad [trinity] god and twisted, added too and subtracted from scripture to build up and support their false trinity god premise [foundation]. They changed [by their mis-handling] scripture after scripture and built false precept upon false precept right up and until their end results was a god that was not recognizable to the true God of scripture, but in fact was satan instead [the antiChrist] !!

Trinitarians ( wicked men and sons of satan) are those who believe in their heart the false doctrine of the trinity. Note: There may be those individuals who hear the word trinity from their pastor or teacher but really don’t believe the concept. Only God knows one’s heart and will judge man accordingly. Choose ye this day. If your pastor or teacher insists on the Trinity you need to get out of this teaching immediately.

My intent of writing this is to take the trinitarians' favorite verses that they use to try to prove their trinity god, and to debunk them as proof of the trinity. Instead, I will show how these verses sink in with the rest of scripture showing that: [The Lord our God is ONE God] !! Note: All scripture in this writing is from the King James Version

Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

I will start in the book of Genesis and go from there.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth

In Gen. 1:26 trinitarians point out that the words [Us and Our} are plural. Also that God would not speak to himself unless he consisted of more than one separate God.

Trinitarians either fail to observe or neglect English grammar rules. Us and Our are Both plural first person pronouns of the singular. (1) First person subject pronoun - I. Pronouns, us is first person plural in the objective, and Our is first person plural possessive also in the objective.

Us and Our are obviously referring to GOD in the singular. (And God said). Although this is written in the 3rd person, (Moses must write in 3rd person because he is not God but is saying what God says) However, clearly, God is speaking in the first person. Otherwise it would be written as The Gods said, let Us make man in our image. But this is not what is written. What is written is: God said.

It is of no surprise that they ignore the very next verse like it wasn't there. They also ignore the fact that the words image and likeness are both singular words. This is important because it would mean that all 3 of their gods [separate gods and separate persons they claim], would have to all have the same image and likeness. They also ignore the 25 verses before it where it just says [God made] singular with no plurals and all the verses after.

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

So what is an image? It is different from a likeness, an image is something that can be seen (like a body or statue). A likeness is to have something alike (like Parts, attributes, like functions, etc).

So let's take a look at how many plurals and how many singular words are in these two verses. {Since they are basing their doctrine on them}

Plural: Us 1x; Our 2x = [3x] plural. Singular: Image 5x; Likeness 1x; His 2x; He 3x; = [11x] singular

So it looks like singular wins at a rate of almost 4 to 1 !! {Not real good odds to base major doctrine on}. Still, we cannot just ignore the 3x God does use the plural. So I will get back to that but first let's look at the words Image and likeness. Interesting words that God uses here. I would say that either of these two words could by themselves disprove the trinity.

If there were three separate gods in one god [which by the way defies all logic], one could only make the case that man was made in the image of only one of them. Since only one had a body {an image}. Jesus Christ [since God came to the earth in the flesh, born of a woman and before and after that he was/is now the glorified body of God].

1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality

The problem is with the words [Us and Ours] when talking about a singular image and likeness. After all, this is why the trinitarians use this verse {Gen. 1:26] and do not include the next verse which uses all singular words. So if Us & Ours include all three separate gods of the trinity, then let me ask; What is the Father's image? What is the Spirit's image?

Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Luk 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Christ's glorified body still has flesh and bones. His fleshly body had flesh, bones and blood.

Trinitarians claim that God the Father is Holy and that he is a Spirit. That would make him a Holy Spirit. They also claim that the Holy Spirit is also a separate God from the Father and the Son. So what we have here is two separate gods, both being Holy and both being Spirits. Therefore they have two Holy Spirit gods in the trinity. Neither one has an Image because they are separate gods from Christ. Neither one can be seen so no image! A man [a body] can be seen. So it is obvious that God was not talking to the two other gods of the trinity since they have no image.

So what about [after our likeness]? Now this is in addition to [our image].

Let's take a look at a couple verses below.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So we are looking at a man being created that has 3 parts [soul, spirit and body]. Now let me ask the trinitarians: Since a man is made with 3 parts does that make him 3 separate persons or 3 separate men? Of course not! Just like an egg has 3 parts [white, yoke and shell], yet it is only one egg, with 3 parts that have different functions. What about God! God has 3 parts also, Soul, Spirit and body. Yet he is one God, he is not 3 separate gods in union to form one god. Some trinitarians even claim that the 3 separate gods also have 3 separate personalities but are in union to form one god. This makes their god a schizophrenic!!

Does God have a soul? Scripture says he does!

Mat 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

Note: my servant is the body, and both soul and spirit reside in the body making 3 parts. Also note the word my. This denotes ownership (possessive pronoun)! As I man would say “my body, my soul and my spirit. Of course it is not 3 separate men but one man with 3 parts!

So it seems that [us and our image and after our likeness], would be the 3 parts that God has. The Soul, Spirit and Body of God and the soul, spirit and body of man created in our image [body] and after our likeness ][soul and spirit and body] !! If this verse meant God was 3 separate Gods, then each separate God would need a Body ,Soul and a Spirit {So God would have 9 parts not 3!

So what the bible is teaching us here in this verse, is that God’s Soul and Spirit resides in his body and that is his image!! The likeness is all 3 parts make up ONE God and/or ONE man.

Note: Keep in mind as studying this in scripture that God is omni-present and can be in heaven and earth, or in heaven and in Christ at the same time.

Now let's get back to the [Us and Our] in Gen. 1:26

If one goes back to Gen. 1:1-25 and goes through the days that God is creating, there is not even one time where God refers to himself in the plural, nor does he in the rest of the chapter after verse 26. In verse 26 he does but only when discussing the creation of man. Since man will be made with 3 parts like God (God's Likeness and image), God uses Us and our [plural for 3 parts that he has that we will also have]. All 3 parts have different functions but make up only one God. According to trinitarians if God was talking about 3 separate gods (persons) in union then he would also have to be talking about 3 separate men (persons) in union since the creation of man is the only place in Genesis that God uses

Different functions do not mean different gods, persons or personalities!! Same as man in that we have 3 parts that have separate functions, but we are only one man, only one person!

The trinitarians claim that God would not talk to himself when saying [let us/ and our image], so that must mean that there is more than one god. However, everyone talks to themselves. It is called having thoughts and reasoning with ourselves. Nowhere in this verse does it say God talked out loud, although that would not change anything. Example: we constantly speak to ourselves in either the first or second person, and even the first person plural subject pronouns; i.e, “I (first person) can do better than that!” Or you (second person) can do better than that!” Or We (first person PLURAL) can do better than that!”

When God is speaking to himself in the first-person plural pronoun in the objective case, (US) it is clearly showing us that he has three parts and he will create man with the same 3 parts [soul, spirit and body]. I would say most people have done this a number of times but may not even be aware that they have, although God did it intentionally. Either way, this verse in no way even hints at a trinity [triad] god. It actually proves the falsehood of the trinity! This verse backs up the other scriptures which state that; God is one God and there is no other God beside him.

Isa 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

Also keep in mind that nowhere in scripture does the term [God the Son or God the Holy Spirit] appear. The trinitarians give these titles to them only by adding to the scriptures words that are not there!! Woe unto those that add to or subtract from the scriptures! May our Lord Jesus Christ judge them accordingly !! Amen!

Grace and Peace
