GRACE vs WORKS: Faith OF JESUS vs Faith IN JESUS - King James Bible #Truth

 GRACE: Faith OF JESUS

WORKS: Faith IN JESUS - King James Bible #Truth

While working with my dear Brother and Sister in Christ Ricky and Lena Whittaker,

It blessed me beyond measure to see Sister Lena take the teaching that began with

Understand the Bible - From a Workman Approved unto God by His Grace (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

and we in the unity of love of our Lord Jesus Christ began deep Bible studies in

our King James Bible.   Here is a few of our latest studies I urge the reader to study.

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father John 14:9 (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

To Know Him who Laid the Foundation of the World (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

To prove how amazing the Lord works in our lives as Saints, sister Lena found a huge difference in Bible Translations that personally made me stop and be convicted of being a PARROT myself as I have often called out Parrots for blindly following and repeating what their pastor taught them which came out of perverted Bible translations.

How many times have we said, "We must have Faith IN Jesus?" in the context of Romans chapter three instead of the Biblical wording of the King James Bible which states, "Faith OF Jesus Christ."

Let's take a close look:

This is what the perverted Bibles teach:

Examples:  Romans 3:22:

NASB:   but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [a]who believe; for there is no distinction,

NIV:  This righteousness is given through faith in[a] Jesus Christ to all who believe.

ESV: the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.

Now the King James Bible:

Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Why is the difference of the Preposition "OF" vs "IN" so important?

In context of Romans 3:22 the preposition "OF" means that which is = Faith that is Jesus Christ's FAITH.

In context of Romans 3:22 the preposition "IN" means possessing the ability to believe within one own's ability conceive on the account of; in the consequence of; by means of what Jesus accomplished.

The perverted bibles using THROUGH which accentuates - or makes it more prominent that it is our own ability to believe as the consequence of what Jesus Christ accomplished. In other words - we have to process by our own ability WORKS of our FLESH to imagine, trust what Jesus accomplished. * See Notes below on the religious aspects of faith to believe

The King James Bible use of "OF" JESUS = GRACE in that this is a gift of Jesus Christ that RIGHTEOUSNESS of God is a GIFT and it only through Jesus Christ and HIS FAITH in us given to us can we truly achieve righteousness. * See note comparison using "OF " Jesus Christ.

The great lesson here Saint is WE REST NOT on our ability to trust in Jesus Christ but rather we rest ON HIS FINISHED WORK AND HIS ABILITY of what has been accomplished.

AMEN!  MARANATHA!

NOTES:

Meaning of FAITH IN

Belief meant "trust in God," while faith meant "loyalty to a person based on promise or duty" (a sense preserved in keep one's faithin good (or bad) faith, and in common usage of faithfulfaithless, which contain no notion of divinity). But faith, as cognate of Latin fides, took on the religious sense beginning in 14c. translations, and belief had by 16c. become limited to "mental acceptance of something as true," from the religious use in the sense of "things held to be true as a matter of religious doctrine."

EXAMPLES FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST

By faith of Jesus Christ": i.e., faith which has respect to, or which embraces or rests on Him. Some take it as the genitive of Origin, faith which is the gift of Jesus Christ, according to Eph 2:8.

Compare Galatians 3:22

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

and Revelation 14:12 - We see the transition from the Age of Grace to WORKS during the Tribulation that the Tribulation Saints must keep the commandments of God and keep the faith of Jesus.  We see that during the age of Grace we are freely given the FAITH OF JESUS.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Ro 8:17.-"Joint-heirs of Christ": i.e., in relation to Christ, and hence partaking with Christ.
