Only for the Saints Do All Things Work Together for Good #Discipleship #Jesus Christ

Let’s be very clear:  Only For God’s Elect, The Saints will Everything Work Out for Good…

How often have we heard the phrase, “Oh don’t worry, it will all work out for the best for you..."?

God’s word does NOT say this for all.

Here is what God’s word as written in the Final Authority of the King James Bible says:

Romans 8:28

King James Version

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Let’s compare the perverted Translations:

Romans 8:28

New American Standard Bible  (used by most Bible Seminaries)

28 And we know that [a]God [b]causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28

English Standard Version

28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,[a] for those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

New International Version

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.

Aside from obviously differences in comparing the King James Bible:  THE CALLED to the perverted translations saying, “ARE CALLED, HAVEN BEEN CALLED (NIV), let’s see how “once again,” how wrong, perverted and incredibly inaccurate - evil - the modern Bible translations are and also how when wrongly applied, how naive and useless is Strong's concordance.

Note: Disclaimer: There are some teachers who throw the baby out with the bathwater by saying one should never use Strong’s. This is religious and pharisaical, as Strong’s is a tool but as in any tool we need to be wise in how we use it.  See my study on

How I study the Bible.

Understand the Bible - From a Workman Approved unto God by His Grace (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

We’ve learned from the study link above that for sound Bible Hermeneutics we are required to adhere to the big 3: 1. Context. 2. Sound Exegesis (grammar-syntax); 3. Compare scripture with scripture.

So let’s apply this in examining Romans 8:28:

  1. Context:  Paul identifying the true Saint in Romans Chapter 8 and their walk. Specifically in verse 28 Paul is telling us most clearly of what a true Saint expects from life’s journey.

  2. Grammar focusing on the King James use of The Called, we see this is a Noun, specified by the definite article meaning a selected, unique titled - entitled Person who has been divinely appointed - CHOSEN.  The perverted Bibles are using a verb form of chosen that functions as an adjective known as a verbal adjective. In this use - it is impossible to see the phrase “are called” as anything less than someone who is “INVITED,”  but not appointed.

  3. When we use Strong’s concordance, we find our major PROOF that the King James Bible truly identifies a TRUE SAINT as someone who is both called and CHOSEN by appointment. We also see a major problem for the perverted Bible translations because it is only Romans 8:28 does Strong’s clearly mean DIVINELY APPOINTED - CHOSEN BY GOD.

Let’s investigate:

Strong's for Romans 8:28 for called is: G2822 which is harmonized perfectly with Romans 1:6 which also only uses the NOUN with the definite article “The” - The Called. This means only “Divinely selected and appointed.”

 1. Called, invited (to a banquet) a. Invited (by God in the proclamation of the Gospel) to obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom through Christ b. Called to (the discharge of) some office 1. Divinely selected and appointed.

From the same as G2821, invited, that is, appointed, or (specifically) a saint - called.

However, when you search scriptures using G2821,  κλῆσις, κλήσεως, (καλέω); klēsis

We find 10 (ten) of the 11 (eleven)are used in the context of being invited to obtain salvation and 1 (one) to be discharged from office as a vocation (Christian).  I urge you to personally read and study all of these scriptures and their contextual meaning:

 Rom 11:29

For the gifts and calling G2821 of God are without repentance.

For ye see your calling, G2821 brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

Unchecked Copy Box 1Co 7:20

Let every man abide in the same calling G2821 wherein he was called.

Unchecked Copy Box Eph 1:18

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation G2821 wherewith ye are called,

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; G2821

Unchecked Copy Box Phl 3:14

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling G2821 of God in Christ Jesus.

Unchecked Copy Box 2Th 1:11

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, G2821 and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

Unchecked Copy Box 2Ti 1:9

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, G2821 not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, G2821 consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Unchecked Copy Box 2Pe 1:10

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling G2821 and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

When going back to G2822, klētos κλήσει — 2x

κλήσεως — 6x κλῆσιν — 2x κλῆσις — 1x

We find two perfect definitions as called by God as in a “general calling - invited BUT NOT CHOSEN BY GOD. Read it for yourself:

 Mat 20:16

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, G2822 but few chosen.

Unchecked Copy Box Mat 22:14

For many are called, G2822 but few are chosen.

This is clarified perfectly by these 3 scriptures:

 1Co 1:2

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called G2822 to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Unchecked Copy Box Rom 1:1

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called G2822 to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Unchecked Copy Box Rom 1:6

Among whom are ye also the called G2822 of Jesus Christ:

Unchecked Copy Box Rom 1:7

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called G2822 to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Unchecked Copy Box Rom 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called G2822 according to his purpose.

Unchecked Copy Box 1Co 1:1

Paul, called G2822 to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

 1Co 1:24

But unto them which are called, G2822 both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Note:  Let’s clarify another thing.  Judas Iscariot was among the 12 disciples called by Jesus Christ and chosen to be named as  In Luke 6:13 we see “called” G4377 meaning to to summon or call by addressing someone.  and “chose” G1586, to pick out for an office, as one of the 12 apostles but he was NOT called to be chosen as a Saint or to be God’s own.  This is confirmed by Mark 3:14 as “ordained” G4160 to “appoint”.

  1. Hello 3rd heaven traveller. I'll say more when ive combed thru all the blog but i was brought here too by a strange gut feeling re amirs ministry. I wondered like another commentator - this must be just me or a personality clash. So ive listened to one recent sermon - powerful and interesting on latest politival developments but theologically light on insight and massively derivative...ie just rehashing other peoples teaching.
I have issues with his presentational style. It is closer in spirit to the super apostles of 2 cor 12 than it is to st paul. This may just be me, but many people want to follow a loud and bold and self possessed man.

    1. Thank you Anonymous. Agree with your assessment. Specifically addressing his "derivative" nature - practice, this is the trademark, actually the hallmark of a huckster-swindler, charlatan who have no deep understanding of what they peddle but use coined phrases and quote them like a parrot. He will jump and hide from correction and especially the TRUTH.

  2. Btw one extra point - and pls note i have combed thru all this yet...i have a prob with your title, brother in christ or ravenous wolf. Are they the only two options?? That seems a bit too black and white for me just yet. But who knows

    1. Yes, the extreme is BLACK and White. There are only 2 paths - Light vs Dark. Right vs Wrong. The benign soft gray area is actually LUKEWARM and read what Jesus thinks of that in Revelation 3:16 King James Bible. Again thank you very much for your commentary.

    2. Hi Andrew - my apologies for being "anonymous", I hadn't meant to be! My name is John, from Liverpool UK. Thanks for your fast replies. What these things highlight to me is that our instincts (in Christ if that makes sense) can be trusted. In Hebrews (ch 5 v 14) it says that we are having our senses exercised by constant use to discern what is good and evil...I take that to mean if we discern something doubtful, we need to ask God to open it out, reveal it. Not in a spirit of censure or condemnation necessarily, as I just feel the Holy Spirit wont pander to a (too quick) censorious attitude. I hope Amir will take this sort of thing on board...and that the wounds of a friend are faithful...God bless

    3. Thank you, John, for your comments and follow up with measured, wisdom of one who is mature in Christ. Your hope for Amir is most admirable. Sadly, with my many years of experience, I very sincerely doubt it, but only God truly knows.
