My Public Response to James Burroughs regarding the Pre Tribulation Rapture of the Church
2 Corinthians 7:9
“Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.”
King James Version (KJV)
2 Corinthians 7:10
“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”
King James Version (KJV)
1 Thessalonians 5:9
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”
King James Version (KJV)

Many will read and possibly be misled by his errant thinking that is unbiblical on so many levels in that he has tragically been bitten by the serpent as in the Garden of Eden to question and misunderstand the Word of God.
There are 3 major distinctions on how we handle disputes or differences among the brethren. James Burroughs meets the 3rd example. See my study:
https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2025/07/how-to-deal-with-dispute-among-brethren.html
The most tragic thing here is that James has completely obliterated the key scripture of 1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV: ““For God hath not appointed us to wrath.” IN CONTEXT…of Paul is speaking of the Tribulation.
If this is new to any reader. Please research before commenting.
And yet poor James wants desperately to believe he and other Christians are indeed appointed to God’s Wrath and therefore it is my most sincere belief that dear James will get to help lead people to Christ during the Tribulation.
I believe with all my heart these will get exactly what they’re looking for. I have gone over this in my Blog.

I am praying for James now and am heartbroken spiritually speaking for him.
1 Corinthians 16:22
“If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.”
King James Version (KJV)
The Terror of Maranatha!
https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2025/08/the-terror-of-maranatha-jesus-took-gods.html
- 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV): "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."
In context (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11), Paul contrasts the rapture's "thief in the night" suddenness (5:2-3: "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them"—referring to unbelievers) with believers' watchfulness and deliverance. "Not appointed to wrath" means the Church is not destined for the tribulation's judgments (seals, trumpets, vials—Revelation 6-16, described as God's wrath in Revelation 6:16-17 KJV: "Hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come"). Instead, we obtain "salvation" (full deliverance, including rapture—1 Thessalonians 5:10: "Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him"). This echoes "Maranatha" as a cry to escape wrath through Christ's coming. - Supporting Passages on Wrath Exemption:
- 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJV): "And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come." The "wrath to come" is future tribulation wrath, from which Christ delivers us via rapture.
- Romans 5:9 (KJV): "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Justification by blood (Gospel core) saves us from future wrath, aligning with the mystery's grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).
- 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 (KJV): "But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ." The Church's calling through Paul's Gospel leads to glory (rapture/resurrection), not wrath.
The reason I write this to James in the 3rd person is because he is here as an ENSAMPLE (no typo or misspelling) - (A definite PERSONAL object lesson to be used as a CASE STUDY EXAMPLE) See my study on ENSAMPLE in King James Bible.

The Terror of what James writes here gives me godly fear and I tremble thinking that he does not understand the GOSPEL given to Paul which is very much part of the MYSTERY which is simply SALVATION - The Church and our Identity and we are NOT appointed to God’s Wrath. Please Please I plead with James and others:
1 Peter 4:17
“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
King James Version (KJV)
"Judgment Begins at God's House: The Urgent Call to Guard the True Gospel (KJV)"
This title emphasizes the biblical truth from 1 Peter 4:17 (KJV) that judgment starts with the Church, underscores the seriousness of preserving the pure Gospel as revealed to Paul...
IF YOU THINK The Gospel of God is different from the GOSPEL of Paul and that Paul was a false apostle - READ WHAT Peter says about Paul’s Epistles in 2 Peter 3:16 KJV…
Let’s now examine James’ beleaguered (please carefully examine this word) comment:
@jamesburroughs-qw1mx
I’m still struggling with this Brother, especially with this false flag Joshua prophecy. Scripture tells me that I am told these things beforehand that that day will not overtake me as a thief 1 Thessalonians 5:4. If we add up all scripture containing the mysteries of the rapture. I still conclude it is post tribulation why?
My response:
The Rapture is part of the 3 part Mystery: other 2 parts are the church is grafted into the missing olive branch and the gospel of GRACE through Faith. See study on the Mystery of the Church given to Paul from Jesus Christ.” end quote.
https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2025/09/why-laodicean-church-does-not.html
How many raptures are there? First fruits rapture of the bride?
Then harvest rapture at the end of tribulation?
The Two witnesses hear the call and the trumpet they are dead, the dead shall raise first then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up in the clouds with them.
My response: “Yes and others like Enoch and in a sense there was Elijah and to be really technical we have Philip being taken and reappearing. But what is your point here?” end quote.
I see the rapture only as a thief to those who are not watching the signs of the times. Jesus says in Matthew 24 immediately after the tribulation of those days. Then we shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great glory.
My response: “Yes, you’re muddying the water here. Jesus in Matthew 24 is speaking of the Tribulation. This is the gathering of the Tribulation Saints and the Jewish Remnant from the 4 corners of the earth. Please read my Armies of Heaven study. You must understand there are different groups of people. We have the Church of Philadelphia, The Tribulation Saints, The Jewish Remnant, and of course the Old Testament Saints. In the midst of this we have the LOST who will experience the 2nd death. Then there will be those who enter into the Millennial Kingdom (survived the tribulation in their mortal bodies. See study on these mortals entering the Millennial Kingdom). See my key studies on the Rapture which I believe you’ve seen but sadly can not see nor hear. See my key studies included on the MYSTERY because you fail to understand who is who. I believe you’ve figured out who is God and now do not know who you are in Christ. I can not and do not judge your heart but rather the corrupt fruit you lay out here for others to eat of this same poison fruit.” end quote.
When the two witnesses are killed and every eye shall see them and their dead bodies shall lie in that great city called Sodom. All the earth shall give gifts because the two witnesses are dead. Their dead bodies will lay in the open streets three and half days then we who are alive and see this thing know that the rapture is at hand. And we look up because we know our redemption drawith nigh.
My response: “We??? Please do not include me and others who believe God’s word regarding the Pre Tribulation Rapture in this “Royal We”. end quote.
I’ve even debated in my mind if the two witnesses are two individuals or two nations that stand against the god of this world satan/allah. If Arab nations nuke America and Europe the spread of Christianity they think has come to an end. And all the Muslims will rejoice and our dead bodies will lay in the streets for three and half days. Then the voice of the arc angel and the trumpet of God sounds and the dead in Christ raise first then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up with them in the clouds. Then the bowls are poured out as we watch their laughter turn to morning and their rejoicing turn to sorrow. We as the ark float above the destruction and come rest on the mountain of olives. And Christ as fulfilled Isaiah a thousand shall fall at thy right and ten thousand to they left and you Israel shall not be harmed.
My Response: “No comment. I am sincerely heartbroken that you would be fabricating all this which not only is nowhere written in scripture as such.” end quote.
Then Jesus walks through the gate beautiful as he has saved his people from utter destruction. Because if America and Europe falls Israel will be a sitting duck as the Muslim nations rejoice and devise wicked plans to crush Israel. This to me in the world today is the most resealable insight I draw from scripture.
I think we dramatize it with two men Moses and Elijah stand off against the Antichrist. Jesus said John was Elijah to whom will receive it. It might play out completely different to what we think we know. Correct me on anything that I’m missing this is just inner monologue in my head a movie playing out scripture that I see in my minds eye. It could be completely wrong but I meditate on all the text given from Isaiah to Malachi to Matthew 24 to 1 Thessalonians to revelation they play as sound bites and movie reals in my mind what could be I ask in amazement as puzzle pieces fall upon the floor of my soul. Maranatha Brother I ask for patience in this area of understanding Godbless you always Brother Andrew.
My response: “I am praying for dear James... I am sincerely deeply saddened by your thoughts. Here is a deep study on who the 2 witnesses truly are. They are LITERALLY Moses (The Law) and Elijah (the prophets).

The Sheep Goat Judgment
https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2024/07/i-received-following-comment-from.html
Premillennialism holds that Christ will return bodily to earth before (pre-) the millennium to
defeat Antichrist at the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 19:11-21 KJV) and establish His kingdom. Prior to the tribulation, the church—composed of all true believers from Pentecost until the rapture—is caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV: "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout... and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air"). This rapture removes the church from earth, sparing it from the wrath of the tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV: "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ").
The seven-year tribulation follows, marked by seals, trumpets, and bowls of judgment (Revelation 6-16 KJV), during which many will perish due to wars, famines, plagues, and divine wrath. However, not all humanity will be destroyed; Scripture indicates survivors who live through this period and are judged at Christ's return.
Who Are These Tribulation Survivors?
At Christ's second coming, He will judge the nations in what is often called the "sheep and goats" judgment (Matthew 25:31-46 KJV). This occurs on earth immediately after the tribulation and Armageddon, separating the righteous ("sheep") from the wicked ("goats"). The goats are cast into everlasting punishment (v. 46), while the sheep are invited to "inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (v. 34). These "sheep" are the survivors in question—Gentile (and possibly some Jewish) individuals who endured the tribulation without taking the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-17 KJV) and demonstrated faith through actions, such as aiding persecuted believers (Matthew 25:35-40 KJV: "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat... Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me").
Additionally, a remnant of Israel will be preserved and converted during the tribulation. Zechariah 13:8-9 KJV prophesies that two-thirds of Israel will perish, but one-third will be refined and call upon the Lord: "And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined... they shall call on my name, and I will hear them." Romans 11:26 KJV affirms that "all Israel shall be saved" at this time, referring to a national repentance when they see Christ return (Zechariah 12:10 KJV: "And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him"). These Jewish survivors, along with the Gentile "sheep," form the group that enters the millennial kingdom in mortal bodies.
These survivors are distinct from:
The church (raptured saints), who return with Christ in glorified, immortal bodies (Revelation 19:14 KJV describes them as "the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean").
The "tribulation saints," who are believers martyred during the tribulation (Revelation 7:9-17 KJV; 20:4 KJV). These are resurrected at the start of the millennium and reign with Christ but do not procreate, as they too receive glorified bodies (1 Corinthians 15:52-53 KJV describes the transformation to incorruptible bodies).
Their Characteristics and Role in the Millennial Kingdom
The millennial kingdom is a time of Christ's direct rule from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:2-4 KJV; Zechariah 14:9 KJV: "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth"), characterized by peace, justice, and restoration of creation (Isaiah 11:6-9 KJV: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb... and a little child shall lead them"). However, it is not yet the eternal state (new heaven and new earth in Revelation 21 KJV), so mortality persists for these survivors.
Mortal Bodies and Longevity: Unlike the glorified saints, these survivors remain in natural, sinful bodies subject to aging and death, though under vastly improved conditions. Isaiah 65:20 KJV, often applied to the millennium, states: "There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed." This suggests extended lifespans—people living to advanced ages like in patriarchal times (e.g., hundreds of years)—but death still occurs, especially for the unrepentant. No infant mortality is implied, emphasizing the blessed state.
Procreation and Population Growth: These mortals will marry and have children, repopulating the earth. Revelation 20:7-8 KJV implies a massive population by the end of the millennium, as Satan deceives "the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea." This growth comes from the offspring of the survivors, not the immortal saints, who are like angels in this regard (Matthew 22:30 KJV: "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven"). The survivors' descendants will live under Christ's rule, but some will rebel inwardly, leading to the final uprising at the millennium's end.
Daily Life and Worship: They will participate in a restored temple system (Ezekiel 40-48 KJV describes a millennial temple with sacrifices, seen as commemorative rather than atoning in premillennial views). Nations will pilgrimage to Jerusalem annually for the Feast of Tabernacles (Zechariah 14:16-19 KJV: "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts... And it shall be, that whoso will not come up... even upon them shall be no rain"). Agriculture, commerce, and society will flourish (Isaiah 65:21-23 KJV: "They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them... for as the days of a tree are the days of my people").
Spiritual State: While the survivors enter as believers (having been judged righteous), their offspring born during the millennium will need to personally accept Christ. Sin will be restrained by Christ's "rod of iron" rule (Revelation 19:15 KJV; Psalm 2:9 KJV), but not eradicated until the eternal state. This explains why rebellion is possible at the end (Revelation 20:7-9 KJV).
Distinction from the Raptured Saints (the Church)
The church, having been raptured and glorified, returns with Christ to co-reign (Revelation 20:4-6 KJV: "And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years"). They are immortal, incorruptible (1 Corinthians 15:42-44 KJV: "It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption"), and serve in roles like judging and ruling (Luke 19:17-19 KJV; Revelation 5:10 KJV: "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth"). In contrast, the mortal survivors and their descendants are the subjects of the kingdom—beneficiaries of Christ's rule but not co-rulers in the same glorified capacity. This dual population (immortal rulers and mortal inhabitants) resolves how the earth is repopulated and why death and sin persist in a "perfect" kingdom.
In summary, these tribulation survivors are the "seed" population for the millennial age, entering as redeemed mortals to fulfill God's promises of earthly restoration and national blessings (e.g., to Israel in the Abrahamic Covenant, Genesis 12:1-3 KJV).
