This might be the most consequential investigation ever written about foreign interference inside the American church, and it reveals a system far more coordinated and intrusive than anything evangelicals can imagine. For decades believers assumed their support for Israel arose naturally from Scripture or from a sense of shared moral history, yet the evidence now shows that the modern Israeli state built a fully integrated influence network that reaches from government ministries in Jerusalem straight into the pulpits, classrooms, and discipleship structures of the American church. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs funded a multi million dollar operation that profiled and digitally targeted more than fifteen hundred churches and Christian universities, including: First Baptist Dallas, Gateway, Elevation, Saddleback, Passion City, Lakewood, Liberty, Regent, Oral Roberts University, Cedarville, and more. The Israeli-funded fake Christian ministry, Friends of Zion, is cultivating pastors through curated tours, bogus awards, and direct contact with Israeli government officials, and those pastors are returning home convinced they are discovering independent insight rather than carefully staged messaging. Another fake "Christian" group underwritten by the Israeli government, Faith By Works, is geofencing American congregations, segmenting believers, and shaping sentiment through targeted content created to stabilize evangelical loyalty to Israel at a time when younger Christians were drifting away. All that is old news, previously exposed by I2I. But did you know about FIRM? FIRM, the Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries, has quietly become the theological and discipleship arm of the Israeli government and is writing curriculum and producing the small group studies of American churches. FIRM does not merely encourage Christians to appreciate Israel, it is actually producing Sunday school materials, youth curricula, apologetics frameworks, pastoral training content, and doctrinal guides that reframe the relationship between Christianity and the modern Israeli state in ways that match the priorities of Israeli political ministries. And they've found key evangelical leaders to take part in this scheme. These include Francis Chan, Jentezen Franklin, George Barna, Jonathan Cahn, Michael Brown, Erez Soref, Seth Postell, Asher Intrater, and ministries such as One for Israel, King of Kings, Revive Israel, Jewish Voice Ministries, Behold Israel, Chosen People Ministries, and Maoz Israel. Their presence gives the material the appearance of spiritual authority, yet the system they contribute to exists downstream from government priorities that treat American evangelicals as strategic assets rather than spiritual brothers. It all works together. FOZ shapes pastors. Faith By Works targets congregations. FIRM constructs the theology that makes the entire pipeline appear biblical. Israeli ministries including the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Strategic Affairs, and the tourism apparatus form the upper tier of a structure that treats evangelical loyalty as a resource to be managed. This article exposes the architecture, names the players, documents the funding, and demonstrates that evangelical support for Israel has not been a one way expression of goodwill. Anyone who cares about the integrity of Christian teaching, pastoral independence, or foreign interference in religious life needs to read this exposé. We've pulled the curtain all the way back.
