Answering a Trinitarian: 1 Corinthians 12:3 King James Bible Response

I received a comment below from a YouTube viewer named 'New Age to Jesus' regarding Brother Daryl Gass' study on Trinity-Rebuttal Part 1.

I felt it important to share New Age's comment and my response in hope others may learn.

New Age To Jesus

“Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”

MY RESPONSE:

 Thank you for taking the time to ask your question. Please allow me to provide an important grammar lesson regarding Greek and the proper English application of the King James Bible. Most speakers of English as their first language do not realize that Greek (original language of the New Testament) for one, uses GRAMMATICAL GENDER rules. This is important when comprehending 1 Corinthians 12:3 and other trinitarian favorites like Matthew 3:16 KJ Bible.

We see here in 1 Corinthians 12:3 King James Bible  the perfect proof that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of (God the Father). This is the ONLY Spirit that exists in the Godhead.

Let’s examine in detail within the context of what Paul is writing here:

1 Corinthians 12:3

King James Bible

3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

We begin by understanding that no man can call Jesus accursed (this goes into the background of the jews calling Jesus Christ by another cursed name which is still prominent today in Israel) unless they have the (DEFINITE ARTICLE meaning only 1 ) Spirit (G4151 Spirit of God is the ONLY SPIRIT given with the precise description of whose Spirit = Spirit is followed by the preposition “of” that precedes God (The Father) whose visible Image is Jesus Christ.

Let's define a PREPOSITION:   Taken from page 2283 Oxford Compact Dictionary  

Definition:  TO Put Before - (specifically in context) used in context as a Part of Speech as an indeclinable (The definition of indeclinable is a grammar term that is a word that must be determined from its context because it does not have anything added to show a grammatical category such as tense, GENDER, mood or NUMBER.) 

Continuing with the meaning of PREPOSITION: A word serving to mark relation between 2 notional (how a particular person is to be comprehended or classified) words the latter of which is usually a substantive (a noun expressing the existence, the essential value of a thing.  Its essence. 

   Trinitarians smugly say this is a separate completely autonomous person.  To call the Spirit of God which is PART of the GODHEAD is "blasphemous" to Trinitarians.  Believers in the Godhead and not the Pagan Trinity would have been burned at the stake by the Vatican five hundred years ago.  Now, sadly protestants have adapted this false teaching.    

Yes... Trinitarians want to call the Matthew 3:16 experience as the separate PERSON named: The Holy Spirit who - as the Catholics and Many Protestants claim in pictures as a WHITE DOVE.  Look at my study in links below at the Pagan art depicting the Trinity.  Read where God forbids this pagan practice in Acts 17:29 King James Bible.  Read where Paul warns of being spoiled by VAIN IMAGINATIONS and PHILOSOPHY MAN in Colossians 2:8 King James Bible.  Read in Romans Chapter 1 verses 18 through 21 King James how God condemns perverting the Godhead. 

 

Let's begin with the grammar of verse 16 of Matthew Chapter 3:   ... and he (Jesus) saw the Spirit OF God. This does NOT say The Holy Spirit, this says the Spirit OF God.  John didn't see this Spirit - Jesus saw it. 

Here the word "Spirit" is a noun in the NEUTER form.  This simply means it is not a distinct "person"... NOT distinct - but rather - following the preposition OF: expressing the relationship between a part and a whole --- to whom?   God.  Strongs: G4154 God's Spirit.

 

 In the Godhead, we know that God is Spirit and is invisible.  But here we see what Jesus saw - notice nobody else saw the Spirit of God - which proves the divine nature of Jesus Christ existing as the VISIBLE IMAGE OF GOD. 

 

 CONTINUING WITH 1 Corinthians 12:3 King James Bible:

The verse goes on to explain that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.  To understand the meaning of the words in grammatical sequence:The” (only the DEFINITE ARTICLE “the” is used meaning there is only 1 holy ghost (spirit) ONLY 1 SPIRIT.)  Holy (Adjective άγιος hagios pure, morally blameless) Ghost (G4151 πνεύμα  pneuma Noun NEUTER.  LIFE GIVING SPIRIT of God. 

So we see Paul explains that the ONE AND ONLY SPIRIT,  IDENTIFIED SPECIFICALLY AS GOD’S SPIRIT IS GIVEN TO HELP MAN SPEAK THE TRUTH. God cannot lie. There is only ONE Spirit, God's spirit, residing within Jesus Christ ' and in the believers in Christ, Galatians 4:6.    Only ONE Body Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:4 King James Bible who is the IMAGE - PERSON of the invisible God Colossians 1:15,2:9 King James Bible.

Ephesians 4:4 King James Bible:  “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;”

 How can God be a Spirit (NEUTER non person Spirit called Holy) and also be a separate Spirit?  Answer: It's impossible. 

 Again Trinitarians are caught in a trap.

 This evidence is found in Jesus’ reference to the Holy Spirit as the Helper: 

Now, let’s look at John 14:25-26 King James Bible.

Here we again see the Only Spirit which is Holy.  The Spirit here is exactly the same used in 1 Corinthians 12:3 King James. This is a NEUTER - noun  non-gender, non person NOUN that describes The Spirit of God. This is the same as Helper which is descriptive of one of the functions of God’s Holy Spirit.  This is NOT a person or personality.
