Every now and then I receive a question from a reader, subscriber and this one is definitely worth sharing:

Paul's epistle to the church of Ephesus. He opens chapter 5 giving instructions for the Church in more specifics. He ends addressing the entire assembly in a spiritual sense as the body of Christ where there is neither male nor female Galatians 3:28 at verse 21. Strongs 5293 in this context is to yield to one's admonition or advice.

At verse 22, Paul switches gears from the assembly to "specifically" addresses married couples in the body of Christ. Here in context we see the practical godly arrangement to arrange under, to subordinate as in the chain of command.

So this means that as a Chistian, a godly husband must listen and be corrected by any true believer, his wife included IF the correction is Biblical.

The problem today in the Laodicean Church age, modern bible translations like the NIV twist the truth.

Brief Background:

I can't even begin to image how many families this has shipwrecked. Feminists declare the Bible was written by a bunch of old men thousands of years ago and this scripture has NO RELEVANCE in the modern day.

Here's the FEMINIST POV: "Because the bible was written by men with very limited views who wanted their wives to do as they were told and effectively behave as personal sex slaves.

Having served over 20 years as a Naval officer, I can attest that without a proper chain of command there are 2 captains running the ship.  If you can't comprehend this I pray for you.  A wife submits to her husband as placing herself under his authority as Head of the Household who is responsible to God and he is to lay down his life for his wife and love her as Christ loved the Church. There is nothing the Devil loves more than to destroy the family structure.
