Understand Maranatha and its true meaning in context of the King James Bible

1 Corinthians 16:22

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

For years now I have used the term "MARANATHA" in its meaning of "Our Lord Comes" simply in the context of the soon coming RAPTURE of the Body of Christ.

However, thanks to one of my YouTube Subscribers, I got to look into this deeper and understand the context of the meaning as written in 1 Corinthians 16:22 King James Bible.

Note: Read 1 Corinthians 16:8 - "And there are many adversaries." Now read 1 Corinthians 16:13 King James Bible: "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."

To understand the meaning of this scripture and the context of why Paul wrote this is very sobering for us today in the late stage before the Rapture. The Corinthians were very carnal and immature and had forgotten and forsaken Paul's teaching on the Rapture (1 Corinthians 15:51,52 his reminder) and they were continually falling to their weak carnal nature. "quit you like men" means BE STRONG AND MATURE. We are required to stand and be strong and not weak in our faith by abiding in Christ and understanding that we stand in righteousness because of the Faith of Christ - NOT of our own ability. WE ARE TO WATCH for our Blessed HOPE. We LOVE JESUS and we know he will be bringing us HOME and NOT appointing us to his WRATH.

1 Thessalonians 5:9

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”

King James Version (KJV)

Do you know the GOSPEL?  Are you preaching the GOSPEL or another Gospel?

Galatians 1:8,9 KJV

The Gospel = Salvation Message (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

It is a terrifying thought that I had recently posted a video and study on WOE to those who deny the PreTribulation Rapture and how the early church believed these are not going to be Raptured and which I now believe. If you really look at it truly how can someone Love Jesus Christ and NOT believe what He says in His word and loves his Bride and will NOT bring them into WRATH of his Judgment.

Maranatha = Oxford English Dictionary page 1723: From Greek from the Aramaic which is variously conjectured to be "Our Lord has Come" to "Oh, our Lord, Come Thou." We see the later as fitting in the context of looking for our blessed hope.

MARANA'THA, n. The Lord comes or has come; a word used by the apostle Paul in expressing a curse. This word was used in anathematizing persons for great crimes; as much as to say, "may the Lord come quickly to take vengeance on thee for thy crimes." https://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-dictionary/maranatha.html

1 Cor. 16:22) consists of two Aramean words, Maran'athah," "meaning, "our Lord comes," or is "coming." If the latter" "interpretation is adopted, the meaning of the phrase is, "Our" "Lord is coming, and he will judge those who have set him at" "nought." (Comp. Phil. 4:5; James 5:8, 9.)"

Philippians 4:5

“Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.”

King James Version (KJV)

James 5:8

“Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”

King James Version (KJV)

James 5:9

“Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.”

King James Version (KJV)
