Part 2 of Inheriting the Kingdom study: "Learning Scripture that teaches us how to be Spiritual, NOT Carnal Christians."
Part 2 of Inheriting the Kingdom study: "Learning Scripture that teaches us how to be Spiritual, NOT Carnal Christians."
Background: Part 1 Inheriting the Kingdom is not the same as Entering The Kingdom - i.e., Salvation. Note: It is important you watch and study part 1 to understand the background before proceeding to part 2.
Major in Part One is there are two types of Christians: The Spiritual and the Carnal also known as SOULICAL or in the Flesh.
Both Christians are saved, but the Carnal Christian will not inherit the Kingdom.
In Part 2 We must really dig into the Word. Let's note to use good Bible study practices I discuss at length:
Understand the Bible - From a Workman Approved unto God by His Grace (thethirdheaventraveler.com)
Key Takeaways:
- The King James Bible is God's Final Authority. IF you do NOT understand this and agree with this, you are a carnal Christian and NOT in the Spirit. You cannot follow the Master and Listen to the voice of another.
Final understanding: Live in the Word, Study the
Word: The King James Bible is God's Final
Authority. IF you are truly saved and you do
NOT understand this or agree with this, then
you are walking in the FLESH and NOT in the
Spirit. Why? for thou magnified thy word
above all thy name.” Psalm 138:2
- Study the Word of God diligently - rightly
divided understanding the dispensations.
2 Timothy 2:15 King James Bible
The HOW is found in Paul's Epistles in this Dispensation which is harmonized perfectly with the doctrine of Jesus Christ:
Here are the scriptures we must thoroughly understand.
Romans 1:17
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
King James Version (KJV)
Habakkuk 2:4King James Version
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Note: Paul used Habakkuk 3 times: Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38, and Galatians 3:11. FOCUS on Faith is what makes the difference in both our Salvation - justification and our Sanctification. See part 1 of the understanding sanctification and justification.
THE SAME GOSPEL THAT SAVED US IS WHAT SANCTIFIES US DAILY THROUGH OUR LORD'S FAITN AND IN HIS GRACE.

Note: The mind renewed by the WORD OF GOD Romans 12:2 KJB, under the Spiritual Authority of the Holy Spirit. The carnal mind is enmity against God and cannot understand the things of the spirit. The mind renewed no longer places itself above the spirit, but under the Holy Spirit our mind understands what our regenerated spirit "knows" from God's word in the life power of the Holy Spirit. Our renewed mind is "actively" working in testing all spirits, searching and study scripture and by our WILL disciplining our body to adhere to God's word.
Eastern Mysticism that has permeated the Laodicean church today teaches to meditate and empty the mind, but the spiritual man's mind is very active under the authority of God almighty AMEN! and searches and studies scripture.
As I pointed out in Part 1, The book by Watchman Nee, "The Spiritual Man" has an entire chapter dedicated to the renewed mind's activity and essentiality in our Spiritual Life.
Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
King James Version (KJV)
HOW?
Warfare - Spiritual Warfare -
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
King James Version (KJV)
Ephesians 1:17,18 KJB: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints
Note: The eyes are the window of our soul
Romans 8:7
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”
1 Corinthians 2:14
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
The SOUL that is under the authority of the Spirit of God to bring the believer to the WORD OF GOD (LAW OF GOD). And live under its ultimate authority. This is completely exercised daily and diligently in striving lawfully. 2 Timothy 2:1-7 KJB. Read slowly and meditate upon this:
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things
John 12:24
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
King James Version (KJV)
John 12:25
“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”
King James Version (KJV)
Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
King James Version (KJV)
1 Timothy 1:15
“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”
King James Version (KJV)
Romans 7:14 - 25 King James Bible
14
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I
not; but what I hate, that do I.
16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that
17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good
thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that
19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would
20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin
21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present
22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law
of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin
which is in my members.
24O wretched man that I am! who
shall deliver me from the body of
this death?
25I thank God through Jesus Christ our
Lord. So then with the mind I
myself serve the law of God; but
with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 8:1-30 King James Bible
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me
free from the law of sin and death.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the
flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and
for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded
7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not
subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the
Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of
Christ, he is none of his.
10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but
the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead
dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live
after the flesh.
13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the
Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;
but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry,
16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the
children of God:
17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in
19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the
manifestation of the sons of God.
20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but
by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the
bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of
22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth
23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our
24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for
what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know
not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself
maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of
the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints
28And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose.
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be
conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the
firstborn among many brethren.
30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and
whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified,
