The Baptist Lad that misses the Mark

is Pastor Jonathan Shelley (also known as Pastor Shelley or "Honey Badger"), the lead pastor of Stedfast Baptist Church (an independent fundamental King James Bible-only Baptist church) in Cedar Hill, TX (Dallas–Fort Worth area). He also runs or heavily features in the "Baptist Bias" show on Rumble (baptistbias.com), where he streams sermons, news analysis, and Q&As aligned with New Independent Fundamental Baptist (NIFB) circles.

The ONLY belief we share in common is our stand on the KJV Bible as the final authority of the Word of God and that Zionism is unbiblical. 
Other than that, Pastor Jonathan Shelley is what I call a Baphomet Baptist, standing on the creeds, doctrines, and philosophy of man and not after Christ.
He does not believe in premillennial eschatology, namely the pre-trib rapture of the church. He shows no understanding of the mystery given to the Apostle Paul—the secret revealed for the Church Age that separates believers from Israel and prior dispensations. He does not fully comprehend the gospel as clearly set forth in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV, which is the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ received by faith alone. 
Additionally, he does not properly understand the Godhead, nor does he grasp true biblical soul-winning. Most critically, he fails to understand dispensationalism and what 2 Timothy 2:15 truly means about rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

These fundamental errors place him far outside sound biblical doctrine despite his KJV-only profession. I strongly disagree with his entire theological system and urge Pastor Shelley, his congregation at Stedfast Baptist Church, and anyone following his teaching to examine themselves in the faith as commanded in 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV.
