Ascension Of Christ should not be confused with the Rapture

Ascension of Christ event will be repeated at the Second Coming of Jesus, but not the Rapture of the Church.

Following is from Tom Gaston:
(REGARDING ASCENSION) "I haven't been looking for anything concerning ascension day, and the reason why is because ascension day in Acts chapter 1:11 where it says..."This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in JUST THE SAME WAY as you have watched Him go into heaven" is NOT a reference to the Rapture of the Church, but rather "contextually" it is a reference to the "second advent" of Christ to the earth.

In Acts chapter one the Church has NOT been "born" yet, and the Jewish disciples of Jesus knew nothing about the "Rapture" of the Church which was a "Mystery", and of which was not revealed until much later AFTER the church was already born.   Jesus is going to return to the earth JUST THE SAME WAY as the disciples saw Him go.  He is going to come back and put His foot down on the Mount of Olives...etc..etc.  And no doubt it will be right in "just the same spot" from which He ascended from.

Revelation 1:7 .....Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

This passage in Revelation is what the two angels who appeared to the disiciples on the Mount of Olives was speaking of.  It was the second advent of Christ to the earth.  They saw or witnessed Jesus "physically ascend" from the Mount of Olives, and they ( Israel ) and the world ( the generation who will be alive when Jesus returns to the earth ) will see Jesus "physically and visibly" come back to the earth at the time of His second advent ( Matt. 24:29,30 ).

There are those who try and apply this passage of Scripture in Acts chapter 1:11  to the Rapture,  but there is no contextual support for such an "opinion" as the text is clearly speaking about the "second advent" of Christ back to the earth.  At the Rapture Jesus will NOT be seen coming "physically or bodily" in the sky.  He will NOT be "touching down" upon the earth at the time of the Rapture, but the Church is going to meet Him in the air.  This all happens in a "twinkling of an eye" which will be so fast that the world will NOT see Jesus physcially or bodily at this time when He comes for His Church.  The people of this world who were left behind will only witness "the effects" of the event, but they will NOT see Jesus " phycially coming back "as the disciples saw Him go at the time of the Rapture.

God bless

In Christ, Tom Gaston

Festival / Cheth = 8  Gimmel = 3 / total = 11
Pentecost / Shin = 300   Beth = 2   Vav = 6   Ayin = 70   Vav = 6   Tav = 400 / total = 784
In 5775 /  Beth = 2 / Tau = 400  Shin = 300   Ayin = 70   Hay = 5 / total = 777......7 x 7 x 7 = 343 Rapture
The Resurrection / Hay = 5 / Tav = 400   Cheth = 8  Yod = 10  Yod = 10  Hay = 5 / total = 438

11 + 784 + 777 + 438 = 2015

777 + 7 for "divine completion" = 784 Penetcost

7 x 7 x 7 x 7 = 2401..........This number is made up of the following!

2015 + 386 Yeshua = 2401........Or......... 2401 minus 386 = 2015

Addendum:

And in Fullness / Vav = 6 / Beth = 2 / Shin = 300  Lamed = 30  Mem = 40  Vav = 6   Tav = 400 / total = 784
Pentecost / Shin = 300   Beth = 2   Vav = 6   Ayin = 70   Vav = 6   Tav = 400 / total = 784
Bride and Yeshua / Kaph = 20  Lamed = 30  Hay 5 / Vav = 6 / Yod = 10   Shin = 300  Vav = 6  Ayin = 70 / total = 447

784 + 784  + 447 = 2015

Or....

Pentecost  784  + Bride and Yeshua 447 + Pentecost  784  = 2015
