In Joel's Blog he proudly boasts he'd been contacted by the Washington Post to provide comment on the current Iranian tensions in respect to end times prophecy.  As all false prophets and teachers, Joel uses scripture and has many solid, accurate statements. However as we dig deeper we discover the hidden leaven in his comments.

Let's examine the major points: 

 Joel states: ; "(Jerusalem, Israel) — A Washington Post reporter called me last week and asked if I thought the current tensions with Iran suggested Biblical “end times” prophecies were coming to pass. I confess, it’s not every day I get a call like that. Here’s the short version of what I told her: "no, as fascinating and dramatic as they have been, it’s unlikely that the events last few weeks in and around Iran have immediate prophetic significance. sadly, far too many so-called “prophecy experts” leap at chance to sensationalize every headline and shoe-horn events into their view of the “last days that said, yes, there are actually two important biblical prophecies about the future judgment of Iran. One is found in Jeremiah chapter 49. The other is found in Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39 (a prophecy known as the “War of Gog & Magog”). and yes, when even the Washington Post starts asking, it’s certainly worth making the people aware of those passages of Scripture and helping both believers and unbelievers understand what these passages say and what they mean.  Unfortunately, there are a lot of prophecy nuts,” I told the Post. “These are people who have websites [where every sentence is] in capital letters, [followed by] 90 exclamation marks, and it’s like: ‘Have some decaf, it’s going to be okay. While I very much hope you’ll avoid the teaching of the nuts, I do hope you’ll take some time to study these two critical Bible passages. I also hope you’ll join me in praying daily for the enslaved people of Iran to be set free once and for all, and for the Church in Iran to grow bolder and stronger every day.

COMMENTARY:

The tragedy here.  Joel missed another major opportunity to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and to truly tell the world via his platform on the Washington Post and his major syndicated Blog that these events in Iran, as well as the many other events (major earthquakes increasing on an unprecedented scale, global warfare; economic, social, and political upheaval and unrest, lawlessness, collapse of moral decency, animal die offs, etc.)  that are in parallel, are "DEFINITELY" and "ABSOLUTELY" are not only suggesting Biblical "end times", they are SCREAMING the end is here.   Joel should have used to opportunity to declare that certainly these events are all part of the prophetic time line and that the end is here and most importantly make a clear statement that people need to turn to Jesus Christ NOW! That time has run out.   He could have made the simple Gospel message:  "We are saved by belief only in that Jesus Christ came and died and rose again on the third day."   Grab onto this people. We are watching the last signs of this age."

But alas, Joel did not say these things. Instead he called those of us who are calling out each detail of these events as end time events as "NUTS"  . Shame on you Joel Rosenberg. Repent!  I used a lot of all CAPS Joel. I proudly join the group of those you call "prophecy nuts".  Joel Rosenberg is telling people:  "Nothing to see here, move along now. God back to sleep. I will tell you what to look for and what's real prophecy".  Joel definitely doesn't want people to wake up and read some good End Times Prophecy teachers out there and the countless number of true believers who are true watchmen and calling out for the lost and lukewarm so called Christians to wake up. No. Joel wants people to go back to sleep.

Next, and very sad is when we read the Washington Post article along with Joel's Blog we are clearly led to believe that we should only follow people like Joel Rosenberg or Bill Salas and other mainstream major book and CD selling Charlatans who do not believe in the Rapture of the Church. Who do not tell people to get ready for the return of Jesus Christ but rather who sensationalize "cherry picked" scriptures like Ezekiel 38 etc and sell books.  They chase filthy lucre using the name of Jesus the Holy word of God. Jude 1:11 and Galatians 1: 7,8,9 are what these Charlatans face.  

Finally, Joel says that we should pray for Iran that "the church" in Iran.  We say Amen! . However, we know from previous study of Joel's philosophy and false teaching  that he is not talking about the Church as in the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27 KJV).  No, Joel calls the church any and all so called Christian "religions" including Catholics as the Body of Christ, the Church.  This is completely contrary to scripture.      

Please people. Wake up!  Be sober minded because the time of imminent return of Jesus Christ to Rapture His Bride  is here upon us.  Then comes the Tribulation. A time and events so terrible that this world has never seen before.

IF YOU DO NOT KNOW JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSOAL SAVIOR,  FALL ON YOUR KNEES REPENT AND ASK JESUS TO SAVE YOU AND PRAY OUT LOUD;

Dear Jesus I need a savior. I am a lost wretched soul.   I ask you save me and be my savior. I believe that you came and died on the cross for me and that you rose again on the 3rd day. Amen!!!
