Etymology of "Framed"

The word "framed" in the KJV derives from the Old English framian (to construct, prepare, or make ready), which is related to the verb "frame" meaning to shape, form, or build. Its roots trace to the Proto-Germanic framjan (to further or promote) and are connected to the idea of setting something in order or creating a structure. By the time of the KJV’s translation in 1611, "frame" was used in English to denote both physical construction (e.g., building a house) and metaphorical formation (e.g., shaping a plan or purpose). In the KJV, "framed" carries a deliberate, purposeful connotation, often applied to God’s creative acts to construct something meaningful.

(My Note: BELIEVE (KNOWING) Jesus died for our SINS = HOW we are SAVED (Gospel - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV.) Through faith (TRUSTING) in the Blood of Jesus shed for remission of our sins is WHAT saves us. (Soteriology of Propitiation - Romans 3:25 KJV.)

Soon enough that old serpent will trick us to sell our precious Christianity for the next shiny new philosophy he offers the starving world, who like a pig eats just anything set before it. Plus we will fall for the Judaizers who get us to blame ourselves and other believers for the sins of the guilty, giving the wicked a pass and condemning those justified by faith in Christ.

Is that not exactly what we see now in this wicked world happening? Satan is very subtle, he is among us and he tricks those who think God can be mocked and that we will continue to bring forth truth when we hold the truth in unrighteousness and only have that form of godliness.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
(Salvation is by grace through faith alone, not works.)

Ephesians 3:3-6
"How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel."
(The mystery is Gentiles Grafted into the missing branch = ONE IN ISRAEL united as one body in Christ.)
Romans 16:25-26
"Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith."
(The mystery, hidden until Paul’s revelation, is now revealed through the gospel.)
Colossians 1:26-27
"Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
(The mystery includes Christ indwelling believers, particularly Gentiles.)

Prelude:

The Apostle Paul’s , as revealed in Scripture, centers on two pivotal truths: Salvation and the Mystery, uniquely tailored for the Dispensation of Grace. Salvation, the first major point, is outlined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV). It emphasizes that salvation is by faith alone—believing in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection as the sole means of justification. This faith is not tied directly to the doctrine of Christ’s blood but is a byproduct of trusting in His finished work. * Paul stresses that no works, rituals, or law-keeping can contribute to salvation; it is a gift of grace, received through belief alone, securing eternal life for the believer.

The second major point, the Mystery, is intricately connected to this gospel, as revealed in Ephesians 2 and 3, Romans 4:16, 11:16-17, 16:25-27, and Galatians 4:26. The Mystery unveils God’s hidden plan, kept secret until disclosed to Paul, that Gentiles and Jews are now united as one body in Christ. Through faith, the Church is grafted into Israel’s spiritual promises, not as a replacement but as co-heirs in Christ.

*Note: Paul defines the gospel as BELIEF in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sins, without explicit mention of His blood. Ephesians 2:8-9 emphasizes salvation by grace through faith, not works, also omitting blood. Romans 3:25 highlights Christ’s blood as a propitiation for sins, underscoring its soteriological significance. While the blood of Jesus is vital for remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22), it is not directly referenced in the core gospel presentation of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

WE MUST Doctrinally Distinguish that believing Christ died for our sins is the foundational gospel message, while the blood’s role, though deeply connected, serves as a mechanism of atonement. The gospel focuses on faith in Christ’s finished work, not explicitly requiring belief in the blood itself for salvation, though both truths harmonize in God’s redemptive plan.

BELIEVE: Oxford English Dictionary page 196 in the context of the GOSPEL = To give Credence and Accept as TRUE. In the strictest terms the word Credence here comes from the Latin which means a very deep rooted (of intuitively KNOWING something) KNOWLEDGE and to KNOW.

To Know:

To know in the Oxford English Dictionary on page 1550 in the Context here means: Taken - apprehended by the MIND as EXISTING AS FACT of what has been REVEALED.

That's why for example in Spanish we have 2 distinct words for the Verb "To Know" One is a superficial work of the mind SOUL. CONOCER (conscious exercise).
