The REWARD of The Inheritance in Striving Lawfully

2 Corinthians 4:18

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

King James Version (KJV)

Colossians 3:24

“Knowing, that of the Lord yee shall receiue the reward of the inheritance: for ye serue the Lord Christ.”

1611 King James Version (KJV)

1 Corinthians 9:24

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.”

King James Version (KJV)

1 Corinthians 9:25

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”

King James Version (KJV)

Incorruptible Crown: 1 Corinthians 9:25 refers to this crown for those who are saved and overcome and have exercised self-control and discipline in their Christian life. In deeper research this Crown clearly goes much deeper into an account of our SERVICE to the Lord.

This particular Crown among the 4 others is the focus of this study.

Temperate (adjective)  Restrained, Disciplined  G1467

Discipleship -Sanctification:

John 4:23

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

The Church of Philadelpia

The Church of Laodicea and the Lost

Note: it is essential we discuss the last chance the Church of Laodicea - the CINOs - Fakes - including the fake Jews.  Matthew 7:23, Revelation 2:9, 3:9, 1 John 2:19, Kingdom Parables of Matthew 13 verses other than Matthew 13:44,45, the good of verse 48, and of course verse 51.

The Overcomer's Crown is the Incorruptible Crown We strive for after we are saved

1 Corinthians 9:25

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”

King James Version (KJV)

Temperance:

DISCIPLINE in the Context of an athlete preparing themselves for the games

HOWEVER, ... in a larger, more comprehensive sense we see in CONTEXT of this AMAZING CROWN which is INCORRUPTABLE

This is supernatural related to inheritance

which brings us to the definition

Self Government

That is UNDER RULE*

Of The Lord Jesus Christ; i.e., possessing the Spirit of Christ.

Romans 8:9

This requires POWER of the Lord beyond our own feeble ability

The Hebrew equivalent

Strength Power

To Be MIGHTY

Psalms 68:35

“O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.”

King James Version (KJV)

Essential Studies:

We Saints will literally rule with Jesus Christ

Time to take a serious look at Casting Crowns #Bible Study

Why we need to know that God Records Memorials

Colossians 3:24 from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible:

"Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ."

Since I’ve studied Inheriting the Kingdom at length, it seems Paul may be referring to the INCORRUPTIBLE CROWN which many refer to as the “overcomers crown” which is for extraordinary service and suffering for that service. This goes beyond the Crown of Life which is for all who are SAVED and enter into the Kingdom of God. See Study Links below. temp

Oxford English Dictionary page 324,5 Self Governance - Control - Discipline - Moderated - Dispassionate

Moderated:

Verb, Oxford English Dictionary page 1828 To Exercise an influence over;  Overrule; RULE.  To Be RULED.

My comment:  This is someone who is RULED by the SPIRIT OF CHRIST and BORN AGAIN who has been CRUCIFED with CHRIST and lives by the FAITH OF the Son of God who loved them and who gave himself for them... Read and study Galatians 2:16, 2:20, Hebrews 4:12 , Ephesians 6:17 KJB ...

This can only happen after we are saved when our SOUL is SPLIT Out and separated by the HOLY SPIRIT.

This can only be The Saint who graciously accepts with JOY unspeakable IN ALL that comes in the furnace of affliction.

The Saints are the PURCHASED POSSESSION IN THE FURNACE OF AFFLICTION The Children of Darkness are THRIVING

Galatians 2:16

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

Galatians 2:20

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

King James Version (KJV)

Ephesians 6:17

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 4:12

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Dispassionate:

This is someone who has been to the CROSS and IS DEAD!

In the Context of this study We see Discipline Oxford English Dictionary page 3244,5:  Self Control Restraint under self-government that is MODERATED.  DISPASSIONATE. Oxford English Dictionary page 757: Free from the passion of feelings or strong emotion (SOUL function).  Read Hebrews 4:12,  Galatians 2:16, 20, Romans 8:9 KJB.

 Discipline:

Oxford English Dictionary page 741 in Context:

A Trained condition. Trained from punishment and lesson. conditioning military applications of drill and athletic training for the games.  See Paul's references to Good Soldier and As an Athlete in training.

 1 Corinthians 9:25-27:

"And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."

 2 Timothy 2:3-4:

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier."

As a verb definitely related to a punishment under tutoring.

So many scriptures:

"For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth" (Hebrews 12:6).

Patience:

Greek Strongs G5281 Faith and Piety during Pain and Suffering.  Oxford English Dictionary page 2098. Endure Suffering and pain, of Trouble or EVIL with Calmness or Composure.

This can ONLY be by the PATIENCE of Jesus Christ Just like the FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST.  Listen we are incapable of suffering the shame and pain of the CROSS. Unless WE ARE TRULY NEW CREATURES - BORN AGAIN.

OTHERWISE WE WOULD BE LIKE THE KINGDOM PARABLES AND DIE - FALL OUT OF GRACE.

PLEASE READ MY TESTIMONY

PLEASE GO TO MY STUDY TO UNDERSTAND WHY PAUL TURNED THE YOUNG MAN COMMITTING SIN WITH HIS MOTHER. PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHY JOHN WROTE IN 1 JOHN 2:19  THEY WENT OUT FROM AMONG US BECAUSE THEY WERE NEVER OF US. UNDERSTAND THAT THE BELIEF OF THE PARABLE IN LUKE 8:13 WAS FAKE - SUPERFICIAL WITHOUT THE ROOT = JESUS CHRIST.

1 John 2:19, which says:

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."

The Other Crowns:

Crown of Righteousness 2 Timothy 4:8 KJB for those who love the appearing of our Lord. Our Redemption in the RAPTURE.

Crown of Life: James 1:12 and Revelation 2:10 KJB refer to this crown, promised to those who are Saints - saved who have preserved and suffered under the trials in this world.

Crown of Glory: 1 Peter 5:4 describes this crown, given to faithful shepherds and leaders of the flock.

Crown of Rejoicing: 1 Thessalonians 2:19 speaks of this crown, often referred to as the "soul winner's crown," for those who lead others to Christ.
