In going through muliple videos and reading Brian "Head"Welch's book, "Washed by Blood," in "every" area I list regarding sound doctrine, Brian is in apostasy, practicing his OWN WAY in Philosphy, Vain Deceit, after the Tradition of man, and the rudiments of this fallen world and NOT after Christ. Colossians 1:8,9 KJB applies. 

I think it no coincidence he even states in his book, "Washed by Blood,"- Kindle - on page123 that while going through his Bible after leaving KORN he felt God's presence and peace. He left drugs and then tragically on page 133 as I talk about in notes below he gets into wrong doctrine at VBF an apostate church. The euphoria continues matching exactly the parable of the SOWER in Luke 8:13, Matthew 13:5,6 KJB.

Subsequently, holding to the parable of the Sower, he is obviously not rooted in Christ (Jesus is the Root - as I point out in detail in my studies) he leaves himself open to false teaching and falls into the TONGUES (page 154) and Charismatic apostasy. See my study of only true gift of Prophecy is still in operation but tongues and the apostolic age ended with the apostles. Hence, Brian falls into the wicked New Apostolic Reformation movement and SIGNS and WONDERS.

On page 157 and 158 this Pastor Ron did not disciple Brian correctly about the cessation of the Apostolic Age and the Dispensation of GRACE. And this is where the wheels fall off.

I began to study Brian for very personal reasons I explain below and at first I felt bad for him as he was deceived and seemed to have such a sweet kind heart. But the deeper I got into this study the more I realized how truly SATANIC Brian "Head" Welch is and those of his kind.  

The Lord REBUKE YOU Brian "Head" Welch... REPENT!

 I know you know from some of your interviews after "supposedly" being saved you're very aware of your millions of followers.

In his own book, "Washed by Blood" which I bought and read and analyze to point point doctrinal error often stemming from your use of the NIV Bible, I ultimately rebuke not only Brian's errant doctrine of not clearly preaching the GOSPEL JESUS DIED on the CROSS for our SINS, and his Hyper Grace of leading the unknowing young astray by assuming God is okay with their sin that's covered by the blood but his attire, eye make up and tattoos his demonic music.  

In his very own book he is heartbroken and knows the needs to get out of KORN when his own 5 year old daughter is quoting one of KORN's songs:

I praise God for your sound understanding in this latest study.

Brother I want to say that you are right about this "blood" thing being a trap ...there is something spiritual about it that I never knew until I learnt what those wicked Kabbalists do with it.

We all know that when Christ was crucified, the people said:

  ".......... His blood be on us, and on our children. (Matt 27:25b)

So what the kabbalistic Jewish leaders in the highest places  wickedly  have learnt to do since Christianity came,  is change the meaning of Matt 27:25 IN THEIR MINDS from their being guilty of His death to His blood covering them and their children  too ("his blood be on us") - as a SCAPEGOAT. 

 (They cannot of course "change" the meaning, but they twist and abuse and even fully  turn  the meaning upside down as we know in order to deceive and work their "alchemical spiritual sorcery". 

 This is the top leaders I speak of, not the  ordinary Jewish people, though  the people can  probably  see things are unjust , but do not resist or speak up "for fear of the Jews" , and as such do what is wrong, but they do not understand the wicked  spiritual  transaction I think)

We know He was the scapegoat and that He was sacrificed ONCE FOR ALL, and it is finished.

But what the Kabbalists do is they in effect get the Christians to time and again crucify Christ afresh by making the CHRISTIANS the scapegoat for the sins of the kabbalistic Jews (and even of all the world)   whenever  they come into a  time of judgement.

It means that by infiltration and Judaization they convince the Christians that THEY THE CHRISTIANS and the CHURCH as a whole are to be blamed for ALL that went wrong. 

 And that the Jews as a collective  won't bear any guilt for their part they played....therefore they need not repent and they get all the mercy, while the Christians get only the judgement.  

Of course both sides have done wickedness, but one side - the Christians - bear all the blame.

A good example is blaming all the evils of colonization on the Christians .

Another example is that all Germans - even the unborn to come-  bear the guilt for the holocaust.  Another example is that even Protestants must be blamed for the Catholic  Inquisition....

When Christians "buy in" to this "collective guilt" whereby they become the scapegoat, they in effect deny Christ's perfect sacrifice and they then start to bear the sins of the whole world on their shoulders...and it crushes and destroys them because we cannot as men bear the sins of the world.

So the high level sorcerers know this and they use Jesus Christ as a  SCAPEGOAT to this day by scapegoating the Christians for the sins of the synagogue of Satan (the elites and secret societies  who practice the Mysteries.)

You are so right that there is such a difference between believing he DIED FOR OUR SINS (this implies we understand we are sinners and we have repented and departed from evil by the  fear of the Lord  which is now in us) versus BEING SAVED BY THE BLOOD (which implies seeing Jesus  as an old testament Yom Kippur scapegoat  who gives us a pass to live as the world does in sin and according to the spirit of error,  yet  foolishly and blindly expecting to avoid being judged and corrected)

(My Note: BELIEVE (KNOWING) Jesus died for our SINS = HOW we are SAVED (Gospel - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV.) Through faith (TRUSTING) in the Blood of Jesus shed for remission of our sins is WHAT saves us. (Soteriology of Propitiation - Romans 3:25 KJV.)

If we are not going to be chastened for our sins because we treat His sacrifice for us as a "magic trick" to make our sins go away by waving a wand like the sorcerers do, we will be bastards and not trained up sons (Heb 12). 

Soon enough that old serpent will trick us to sell our precious Christianity for the next  shiny new philosophy he offers the starving world, who like a pig eats just anything set before it.  

Plus we will fall for the Judaizers who get us to blame ourselves  and other believers for the sins of the guilty, giving the wicked a pass and condemning those justified by faith in Christ. Is that not exactly what we see now in this wicked world happening?

Satan is very subtle, he is among us and he tricks those who think God can be mocked and that we will continue to bring forth truth when we hold the truth in unrighteousness and only have that form of godliness.

Thank you Brother James VanPatten for reminding me of the Testimony of John Newton AMAZING GRACE.

 Two fold: One to EXPOSE Brian "Head" Welch and his false pretense of actually being a Christian leading many into the pit with him. To Expose all the false teaching in Brian's own doctrine and those of his kind. To  provide CORRECT Doctrine for Salvation; i.e., The Gospel in the plea to WAKE UP and COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM.

These kids like my own daughter want to wear pierced rings, heavy black eyeliner, black gothic clothing... My wife and I have battled non-stop to not allow her to listen to this "demonic" music, to wear this death cult and participate in this. I have removed posters, sound tracks, and not allowed her to embrace this culture. From the beginning we have raised her in the truth and knowledge of the WORD of God King James Bible.

She has exploded in outbursts of anger that we are forcing our will on her. She expressed "hatred" for our stance.

Over and over again we've read to her and told her: Proverbs 3:11, 12 KJV. (Don't despise correction and for whom the Lord loveth he corrects.)

When I researched Brian "Head" Welch and KORN - I remember hearing about his "supposed" change but then walked back into his past.

AFTER a major meltdown from our daughter about wearing heavy eyeliner (to look like her idols - including wearing a KORN T Shirt - TRUTH SPOKEN) I found - it of no coincidence - a post on our daughter's phone.

The post about how God not only LOVES but IS LOVE and LOVES you no matter what. What surprised me was the quote was from Brian "Head" Welch.

I hear a lot of Kabbalistic type thinking (the belief of the "sparks" trapped in the abyss that must be "freed" and only giving mercy mercy mercy)  and in the one video about the black feathers I remembered that the New Shepard space rocket of Katy Perry had a large black feather on it. 

  To me the feather on the space rocket signified man attempting to judge himself by doing works and  I believe it links to the judgement of the goddess Maat of Egypt.   Besides the gold dust they spoke of feathers a lot in the Charismatic signs and wonders.  This man has these black feathers associated with him in the one video.  I also think the feathers link to worship of fallen angels.

This man is like Simon Magus, a gnostic who is into hyper grace.  He loves Christ's mercy but not the chastisement to make him a son of God. "  End Quote.

A tattoo is NOT a salvation issue. Meaning if a Christian gets a tattoo they won’t go to hell because our Salvation is secure. But what we do to our bodies we are held accountable and will be judged by Jesus Christ for our rewards and our works:

In Washed by Blood, Brian "Head" Welch recounts a sobering moment with his daughter Jennea that catalyzes his desire for change: “These words were coming out of my five-year-old little girl’s mouth, and I knew right then that something had to change” (Welch, 2008, p. 102). Hearing her sing the explicit Korn song “A.D.I.D.A.S. = All I dream about is SEX.” deepens his sense of shame, highlighting the need to escape his destructive lifestyle.

On page 102 Brian transitions into the beginnings of the major transformation when he reads his bible one morning quoting Matthew 11:28-30 from a corrupted translation. I checked NIV, ESV, NASB, NKJV. All of these have same wording except his translation states, "there" you will find rest.


“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, there you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28–30)

• Theological Transformation: Welch’s theology, as outlined in Washed by Blood, emphasizes becoming a “new creation” in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). By referring to his pre-Christian self as "Head," he symbolically separates his old, sinful identity (the drug-addicted rockstar) from his new identity as a redeemed Christian. This aligns with his belief that salvation fundamentally changed him, making "Head" a persona he left behind.

In Washed by Blood, Brian "Head" Welch reflects on a critical moment of spiritual struggle under the section “jesus—my last hope.” After receiving an inspiring email from his friend Eric, Welch considers returning to Jesus, recalling a childhood experience of faith: “I was almost ready to try Jesus out again, like I had when I was a kid. He was the only hope I had left” (Welch, 2008, p. 103). He questions if his life’s chaos—addiction, guilt, and shame—stems from neglecting Jesus, wondering if surrendering to Christ could bring freedom. Yet, Welch hesitates, fearing judgment and the stereotype of “geeky” Christians, while also dreading pressure from friends to attend church. Internally, he faces a “spiritual battle” between God and the devil for his soul, torn between continuing with Korn and drugs or choosing a new life in Christ (Welch, 2008, p. 103-104 Kindle.)

It is very clear that Brian never really wants to come OUT of the world he LOVES the world and talks like he does BUT his ACTIONS speak much louder.

Let's take a serious look at Dave Roberson in the context of his influence on Brian Welch:

The book, available as a free PDF, is praised for its accessible explanation of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, though some criticize its prosperity theology leanings and weak doctrinal rigor.


The charismatic movement, which Roberson represents, emphasizes the active work of the Holy Spirit through gifts like tongues, prophecy, and healing, rooted in Acts 2 and 1 Corinthians 12–14. Its strengths include:Passion and Empowerment: It fosters fervent worship and personal engagement with God, as seen in Roberson’s transformative prayer experiences.
Accessibility: Roberson’s book makes spiritual practices like tongues accessible, encouraging believers to seek God directly.
Critiques:Emotionalism: The movement’s focus on experiential gifts can prioritize feelings over doctrine, as critics note in Roberson’s sometimes anecdotal exegesis (e.g., Goodreads reviews calling it “weak doctrinally”).

Overemphasis on Tongues: Roberson’s claim that tongues are essential for spiritual maturity risks marginalizing non-charismatic believers, contradicting 1 Corinthians 12:30, which suggests not all speak in tongues.

Prosperity Leanings: Roberson’s occasional prosperity theology hints (e.g., divine favor through prayer) align with charismatic excesses, criticized for materialistic bias (ChristianBook reviews).

Connections to Eastern Mysticism
Roberson’s practice of extended tongue-praying raises concerns about parallels to Eastern mysticism (e.g., Buddhist meditation, Hindu mantras), particularly due to its repetitive, mind-transcending nature:Similarities: Like Eastern meditative practices, Roberson’s hours-long tongues create a trance-like state, aiming to bypass the intellect for spiritual insight (p. 234). This resembles mantra repetition in Hinduism or mindfulness in Zen, seeking a higher state of consciousness.

Theophany Pursuit: Roberson’s pursuit of divine encounters through tongues echoes mystical traditions, including Christian theophanies (divine appearances, e.g., Elijah’s “still small voice”). However, he doesn’t explicitly frame his experiences as theophanic, focusing on Spirit-led prayer rather than visible divine manifestations.

The  unlearned consider Roberson’s practice is firmly rooted in Christian theology, citing biblical texts (1 Corinthians 14, Romans 8) and the Holy Spirit’s agency,  HOWEVER he is EXACTLY the same as Eastern mysticism’s non-theistic or pantheistic frameworks. 

His facade is communion with the Christian God, in enlightenment or cosmic unity.

Critics of the charismatic movement, as noted in The Gospel Coalition (another WOLF CALLING OUT WOLVES)  articles, warn that repetitive practices like tongues can mimic Eastern techniques, risking syncretism if not grounded in scripture.

 Roberson’s biblical exegesis (e.g., 1 Corinthians 14:4) counters Doctrine as I point out in studies in links above. 

Specific Alignment with Contemplative Prayer
Pages in The Walk of the Spirit  (e.g., pp. 167, 187, 201, 234) describe tongue-praying as a way to:Quiet the mind and flesh, akin to contemplative prayer’s silencing of thoughts (Psalm 46:10).

Ironic that in interviews, Brian urges MUSIC to get in his prayer and then quickly makes QUIET time a side note. 

Receive divine mysteries, similar to contemplative listening for God’s voice (1 Kings 19:12).

Achieve spiritual intimacy, paralleling contemplative union with God (Matthew 6:6).

For example, Roberson writes, “When I pray in tongues, my spirit prays, and my mind is unfruitful, allowing God to reveal His plans” (p. 167, paraphrased), echoing contemplative goals but through a vocal, charismatic method. This suggests a functional overlap, despite methodological differences. Brian "Head" Welch gives credit to Roberson in the book.

Synopsis
In Washed by Blood: Lessons from My Time with Korn and My Journey to Christ, Brian "Head" Welch recounts his transformation from a drug-addicted rock star to a born-again Christian, a journey initially marked by a profound spiritual awakening. Welch describes a pivotal email exchange with his friend Eric, where he admits, “I’m a lost soul, man. My life isn’t fun anymore” (Welch, 2008, p. 106).

 Eric’s response emphasizes a personal relationship with Jesus over religious ritual, encouraging Welch to pray and seek Christ directly. This leads Welch to reflect on a childhood encounter with Jesus and a spiritual battle for his soul, feeling torn between his Korn lifestyle and a potential new life in Christ. He later meets Eric at a coffee shop, still under the influence of drugs, and hesitantly prays to rededicate his life to Jesus, though he initially doubts its sincerity while continuing drug use (Welch, 2008, p. 106). 

A turning point occurs at a church service on January 9, 2005, where Welch, still high, experiences God’s love and peace, prompted by Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”).

 Inspired, he prays earnestly, asking Jesus to remove his addiction (Welch, 2008, p. 106).

 A week later, Welch confides in his friend D, flushing his drugs, marking a significant step toward sobriety (Welch, 2008, p. 106). He quits Korn, dedicating himself to a “real walk of faith,” tattoos scriptures like Matthew 11:28 on his body, and writes songs like “Save Me from Myself” to express his redemption (Welch, 2008, pp. 135-136, 163). 

Welch also experiences prophetic dreams and visions, including guidance to confront his father about childhood issues, aiming for healing (Welch, 2008, pp. 185, 200).

 However, he later struggles with depression and anger during recording, even cursing God, revealing ongoing battles despite his claimed freedom (Welch, 2008, p. 206).

My Critical examination of  Welch’s fruit post-conversion, especially after his 2013 return to Korn:

it is most clear:

 Welch’s actions—rejoining a band known for dark themes, displaying tattoos, and promoting speaking in tongues—contradict his testimony of freedom and purity. 

 Matthew 7:20 (KJV), “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,” questioning Welch’s alignment with biblical uprightness (The Third Heaven Traveler, 2025).

KJV Analysis
Welch’s initial struggle mirrors Proverbs 4:16-17 (KJV), where the wicked “sleep not, except they have done mischief,” reflecting his persistent drug use and inner turmoil (Welch, 2008, p. 106).

 His hesitation to fully surrender aligns with Proverbs 28:10 (KJV), warning that the wicked can cause the righteous to “go astray in an evil way,” as his Korn environment pulls him back (Welch, 2008, p. 106).

NOTE:  It also deeply bothers me that Brian blames God for him going back to KORN.  He says it clearly in the interview at Lakeland church.  I pointed out above. 

 However, his church experience and prayer echo Matthew 11:28 (KJV), promising rest for the weary, suggesting a genuine moment of seeking God (Welch, 2008, p. 106). 

Flushing his drugs reflects Proverbs 11:6 (KJV), “The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them,” as a step toward deliverance (Welch, 2008, p. 106). 

Yet, his tattoos and song “It’s Time to See Religion Die” (Welch, 2008, pp. 135-136, 180) raise concerns, as Leviticus 19:28 (KJV) warns, “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh… nor print any marks upon you,” and his lyrics challenge biblical unity (John 17:21, KJV). 

His prophetic dreams (Welch, 2008, p. 185) align with Acts 2:17 (KJV), “Your young men shall see visions,” but his return to Korn and ongoing depression (Welch, 2008, p. 206) suggest a failure to fully bear good fruit, per Matthew 7:20 (KJV), as I point out through this Blog.   Also see the dangers of using Dreams and Signs and the perversion of NAR in Prophecy and dreams in my studies above.  I include here also:

Welch (2008) writes, “He set me free from a broken heart, a broken soul, and a broken spirit; from drug addiction, alcoholism, guilt, shame, abuse, anger, depression, confusion, and on and on. He’ll do the same for you if you let him in. A simple, sincere prayer from your heart to God is all it takes to start you on your own road to freedom.  Analysis of the Prayer
The prayer in the quote is a nice typical prayer we hear from behind the pulpits of our fallen churches of these apostate trained CEOs called Pastors.  Ironically, Brian knew he had to get out of church buildings but sadly he jumped out of the frying pan into the fire with NAR and MYSTICISM, GNOSTICISM. Kabbalah. 

Gratitude: Expresses thanks for Christ’s sacrificial death (“sending your Son to die in my place”), aligning with core Christian doctrine (e.g., John 3:16, KJV: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…”). And again we see John 3:16 but not the consequences of John 3:18 KJB. 

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Repentance and Request for Forgiveness: Asks for forgiveness for past sins (“Please forgive me for my past”), reflecting a recognition of personal sinfulness and need for redemption.

I UNDERSTAND that it appears on the surface Brian may be consistent with biblical promises (e.g., John 14:26, KJV: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost… shall teach you all things”). However, we do not have DOCTRINE Whereby we talk to the Holy Spirit as a PERSON - thus showing Brian is of the TRINITY mindset and not the Biblical Godhead.

Blog Comment: Brian "Head" Welch’s testimony in Washed by Blood paints a powerful picture of redemption, claiming that God “set me free from a broken heart, a broken soul, and a broken spirit; from drug addiction, alcoholism, guilt, shame, abuse, anger, depression, confusion, and on and on” through a simple prayer: “God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I want to thank you for sending your Son to die in my place. This prayer aligns with KJV truths, echoing repentance and faith as in Romans 10:9 (KJV), and the Holy Spirit’s guidance as in John 14:26 (KJV). However, Welch’s claim of freedom doesn’t hold up when we examine his life after returning to Korn in 2013.

And Tragically it does NOT MATCH DOCTRINE OF THE GOSPEL FOR SALVATION.   Brian is only repeating like a parrot what he heard instead of actually studying the WORD of God. In the Final authority of the King James bible. 


Matthew 7:20 (KJV) warns, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,” and Welch’s fruits raise questions. His continued involvement with Korn, a band known for themes of darkness and rebellion, contradicts the purity he vowed to pursue (Welch, 2008, p. 163).


Interviews on my blog, including those with former bandmates and Christian leaders, reveal Welch’s struggle to fully separate from his past lifestyle—some note he still battles the same anger and depression he claimed to be free from. This inconsistency suggests that the “freedom” he describes may not be as complete as his prayer promises, or that evil’s influence, as seen in Proverbs 4:16-17 (KJV), persists in trying to “cause some to fall.” While Welch’s prayer reflects PARTIAL biblical truth, his testimony after Korn shows that true freedom requires ongoing surrender, not a return to the “net of evil men” (Proverbs 12:12, KJV).
