Fallen from GRACE Part 3 Conclusion

Proverbs 24:12

“If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?”

King James Version (KJV

Romans 1:18

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;”

King James Version (KJV)

“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”

King James Version (KJV)

In PART 1   I defined falling from Grace as someone John described in 1 John 2:19 as a fake Christian among the brethren who really is NOT one of us.  This represents the Laodicean Church.

In PART 2  I examined the gray area of a true born-again believer a saint who stumbles into sin - backsliding - and is striving unlawfully whose works will be burned at the Judgment SEAT of Christ.

Here in part 3 I will conclude this study focusing on the phrase FALLEN FROM to finalize EXACTLY what has happened to the individual Paul is identifying or is singling out from the real believers.

Growing up in rural Colorado I had relative who owned both range beef cattle and some a dairy farm and I would be pressed into service from time to time to help out. This is extremely hard work and was a motivation for me to pursue something else - perhaps this was their plan to get me out of that area.

From time to time, we had to cut a cow out from the herd for either branding or health reasons.  When a cow was sick and or causing problems for the herd it would be singled out and removed from the herd. *After a period of time - depending on the ailment or injury - the cow would either be returned or put down.

Paul here in Galatians 5:4 is selecting or ID ing those members for cutting out that member from the BODY of Christ. Essentially, WARNING THEM.

This study is clear that it is the "ACTION - SIN - REJECTION OF GOD - of the PERSON and God truly knows their heart as to either a temporary sin that will be burned at the BEMA SEAT or the person is eternally damned and will someday stand at the Great White Throne Judgment.

For church discipline and dealing with a weaker brother please see notes below.

1 John 2:19

“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

King James Version (KJV)

1 John 2:20

“But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.”

King James Version (KJV)

LET'S EXAMINE THE PHRASE FALLING FROM:

Christ G5547 is become of no effect unto you G575 G2673, whosoever of you G3748 are justified G1344 by G1722 the law G3551; ye are fallen from G1601 grace G5485

Hosea Chapter 1 (God forsakes Israel because of their idolatry).
Judges 2:19 (Recurring recycle of Israel's idolatry.)

Additional commentary:
God’s Command to Hosea: God instructs Hosea to marry Gomer, a woman of promiscuity, to symbolize Israel’s unfaithfulness through idolatry1.

Hosea’s Children: Hosea and Gomer have three children, each with names that carry significant meanings:Jezreel: Symbolizes God’s impending judgment on the house of Jehu for the massacre at Jezreel1.

Lo-Ruhamah: Means “not loved” or “no mercy,” indicating that God will no longer show love to Israel1.
Lo-Ammi: Means “not my people,” signifying that Israel is no longer God’s people due to their unfaithfulness1.

Judges 2:19

 King James Version (KJV) reads:

"And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way."1

This verse highlights the recurring cycle of Israel’s disobedience and idolatry after the death of a judge, leading to further corruption and turning away from God.

Paul’s teachings on dealing with a sinning Christian can be found in several passages in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. One of the key passages is 1 Corinthians 5:1-13. In this chapter, Paul addresses the issue of immorality within the church and instructs the Corinthians on how to handle such situations.

Here are some key points from 1 Corinthians 5:Identify the Sin: Paul begins by identifying the sin that is being committed openly within the church (1 Corinthians 5:1).

Mourning and Action: He expresses that the church should be mourning over the sin and should take action to remove the sinner from their midst (1 Corinthians 5:2).

Deliver to Satan: Paul advises delivering the sinner to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus (1 Corinthians 5:5).

Purge the Leaven: He uses the metaphor of leaven (yeast) to illustrate how sin can spread and affect the whole church. Therefore, the church should purge out the old leaven to be a new lump (1 Corinthians 5:6-7).

Do Not Associate: Paul explicitly instructs not to associate with anyone who calls themselves a brother but is sexually immoral, covetous, an idolater, a railer, a drunkard, or an extortioner (1 Corinthians 5:11).

Judgment Within the Church: He emphasizes that it is the responsibility of the church to judge those within the church, while God judges those outside (1 Corinthians 5:12-13).

These instructions highlight the importance of maintaining the purity and holiness of the church by addressing sin and taking appropriate disciplinary actions.

Added Commentary from ExposeDarkness 511 Sister Ursula:

People need to accept the fact that there is 'grey' as Paul spoke of when he spoke of that 'dark glass'.  .  The false teachers just fill out the grey areas or unknowns with their own false doctrines of men, despite having seen nothing.  So it is important to be able to endure 'grey' also, it is part of patient endurance, I think.

What comes to my mind to prove you cannot lose salvation is exactly Peter himself.  The Lord said:

Luk 22:31  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Luk 22:32  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

and He said:

Joh 17:12  While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

and of course:

Joh 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Joh 10:30  I and my Father are one.

The scripture Cameron quoted from Hebrew 6 is also important to me because it warns that when we do not grow to become  mature we are in grave spiritual danger:

Heb 6:1  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2  Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3  And this will we do, if God permit.
Heb 6:4  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5  And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Heb 6:7  For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
Heb 6:8  But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Heb 6:9  But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
Heb 6:10  For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Heb 6:11  And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Heb 6:12  That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Paul then speaks again of diligence in our faith and not being 'slothful'....which leads to spiritual growth.

...and in Ephesians Paul  links being spiritually immature to being continually deceived by one false doctrine after the other....

Eph 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Eph 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

It seems to me if we are truly His he will KEEP us, DESPITE all the deceivers.

Jud 1:1  Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

He preserves (guards/keeps)  His own because they have LIFE in them, having being born again from above and having received eternal life,  and so they WILL GROW, even if it is slowly and accompanied by some stumbling at times.  Christ IN THEM will bring victory ......but the rest who are not born from above  eventually become rotten/spoiled/defiled because they do not have the life of Christ  in them.

Amazing Grace is all I can say!
