Hearing and Reading in the Study of the King James Bible

 

Romans 10:17

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

*note: the preposition "by" in context means the Word of God is the channel or means and reason that faith comes through hearing or listening of that Word.


It is here I must state that both the perverted modern bible translations and the King James Bible agree for the most part on 2 Timothy 3:16

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

HOWEVER... The Wheels fall off when comparing Psalm 12:6,7 KJB with the perverted modern translations.

Note: The word "study" is a very deep word that literally means to be zealous in examining and striving after, pressing forward in learning. Upon deeper research it comes down to resolving the tension in the mind to solve information that has been introduced.

Sure, absolutely, why not?  WITH A MAJOR CAVEAT!

From years of experience, I caution you to understand versions make a huge difference. 


I strongly recommend the KING JAMES since the modern versions including the NEW King James are truthfully corrupted.

 Here is one of thousands of examples: read and compare the King James 1769 with other translations: 2 Timothy 3:16, to Psalm 12:6,7; Isaiah 14:12, to Revelation 22:16; Galatians 2:16 and 2:20 with focus on the PREPOSITION OF vs IN. 

Also, the number of times the modern bibles exclude the word JESUS etc. Additionally, when listening without visually seeing the words, it’s very easy not to fully grasp what is being said. My example of comparing Galatians 1:16 and 2:20 is a perfect example. Listening you would realize the importance of understanding the difference of faith in Jesus Christ and the faith OF Jesus Christ.


 This is why 2 Timothy 2:15 requires us to STUDY God’s word. When doing a deep study of the word STUDY it literally means hard work of working through the unsettling friction and tension of reading for understanding. In other words, reading for understanding requires us to stop and learn words in their full vocabulary meaning and grammar in the context of its setting. Revelation 1:9 is a perfect example. 

The Patience of Jesus Christ

When we read, The Patience of Jesus Christ we just skim over it thinking this means to be patient in waiting… or who knows what else the mind reflects on these words. But in a deep study this literally means to have the ability of Jesus Christ to supernaturally enduring suffering.
