Messianic Psalms are vital to our Faith Part 2

Psalms 22:1

“(To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.) My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?”

King James Version (KJV)

Matthew 27:46

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”

King James Version (KJV)

Matthew 1:20

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”

King James Version (KJV)

Luke 23:46

“And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 2:14

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 2:16

“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”

King James Version (KJV)

In Matthew 27:46, Jesus’ cry of “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” reflects a profound moment of anguish and a sense of separation from God.

This moment is often interpreted as Jesus experiencing the weight of humanity’s sins and the resulting separation from God

Here are some insights from various commentaries:

  1. John Gill’s Exposition of the Bible explains that this cry highlights the reality of Jesus’ human nature and the intense suffering he endured. It emphasizes the seriousness of sin, which caused even Jesus to feel forsaken by God while bearing the sins of humanity1.

  2. Oxford Bible Church notes that this saying reveals the heart of Jesus’ mission on the cross. It underscores the dual nature of Christ as both God and man. Jesus uses “God” instead of “Father” to express the loss of intimate fellowship with God at that moment2.

  3. StudyLight.org mentions that some believe this cry signifies that Jesus’ divinity had temporarily departed, leaving his human nature to bear the full weight of punishment for humanity’s sins3.

These interpretations help us understand the depth of Jesus’ suffering and the significance of his sacrifice. If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!

And Now, by the Grace of God we will study Doctrine to understand and know these profound scriptures.  AMEN!

 M A R A N A T H A!

Preface:

This is a very long study. I urge the reader and viewer of this video to pray for the strength and patience to persevere in the "study"...

As you'll find toward the end of this study - we who believe without seeing are blessed.

Just as Thomas had that shock and awe moment to realize Jesus Christ is GOD (John 20:24-29), Paul found the same on the road to Damascus and here in Hebrews he explains, "HEY there is ONLY ONE GOD AND THAT IS JESUS CHRIST in PERSON and we the Church of Philadelphia are HEBREWS  as among our brethren the Jewish Remant, The Tribulation Saints and of course the Old Testament Saints.

Looking forward to that reunion at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb Revelation 19:9 KJB with my whole heart - yearning with my heart.

2 Timothy 4:8

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

King James Version (KJV)

Before beginning this series, it is essential the reader and viewer of this video understand the Godhead and know the Godhead of the King James Bible is NOT the pagan philosophy of the Trinity.

One must understand that in order to apprehend this study - one must possess the Spirit of Jesus Christ - whereby the TRUTH abide in you and that one cannot apply man's wisdom but rather compare spiritual things with spiritual.

1 Corinthians 2:13

“Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

King James Version (KJV)

The Third Heaven Traveler

This Blog is about our spiritual life in Jesus Christ and Him in us who believe on Him and applying this existence to our physical world. The Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. King James Bible.

This is PART 2 of the seven-part series of the Messianic Psalms.

Here in part 2, I will study Psalm 22 and the Lord willing, I will then proceed to Chapters 2, 16, 69 and 110. The final part will be the conclusion.

If you have not read or watched Part 1 please do so before proceeding to Part 2.

Background:

Psalm 22: Describes the suffering and crucifixion of the Messiah in vivid detail, including the words Jesus spoke on the cross:

“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”* and much deeper including references to piercing his hands and feet, the casting of lots for his garments and the mocking and suffering.

Psalm 22 references to Jesus Christ:

Psalm 22, Matthew 27, and Hebrews 2 are deeply interconnected, especially in the context of Jesus Christ’s suffering and crucifixion.

Revelation 1:9 and the Matthew 13 Kingdom Parables (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

Psalm 22: This psalm is often seen as a prophetic description of Jesus’ crucifixion.  I was surprised to discover how Psalm 22 goes into deeper aspects of the Crucifixion into the Resurrection that ultimately brings us to a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ.

I will go through this study as follows:

“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1 KJV), which Jesus quotes on the cross in Matthew 27:46.

The psalm describes the suffering, mocking, and physical agony that Jesus endured, including the piercing of His hands and feet (Psalm 22:16 KJV)

The casting of lots for His garments (Psalm 22:18 KJV), both of which are fulfilled in the crucifixion narrative in Matthew 27.

Hebrews 2: This chapter emphasizes Jesus’ humanity (being a man an earthly being but not human) and His suffering for the sake of humanity.

The Hebrews 2 - Psalm 22:22 KJV Connection:
“I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee” (Hebrews 2:12 KJV), highlighting Jesus’ role in bringing many sons to glory through His suffering.

Conclusion.

Psalm 22 -

“My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1 KJV), which Jesus quotes on the cross in Matthew 27:46.

Psalms 22:1

“(To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.) My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?”

King James Version (KJV)

Psalm 22:1 is the Laodicean's church's comfort verse to support two heretical doctrines of Trinity, and that Jesus was created by God the Father.

It is here that I stress again the importance of reading and studying Part 1 of this study and go through the Godhead verses the Trinity especially as well as Bible Translations and what saith the scriptures in correct Bible doctrine that has been so mangled in our apostate seminaries.

Once again, I can't stress how important it is to understand the background in Part One of the study to understand:

Psalm 22:1

is

saying:

Jesus Christ as the son of Man, the son of David is crying out to the Father - who is Spirit.   Jesus is speaking as the Son of Man, the Son of David and our Kinsman Redeemer.

Jesus is speaking to His Father who is SPIRIT within Him and who is OMNIPRESENT *

The term omnipresent is an adjective that means being present everywhere at the same time12. It is often used to describe a divine attribute, indicating that a deity, such as God, is present in all places simultaneously. Synonyms for omnipresent include ubiquitousuniversal, and pervasive12.

John 1:18

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

King James Version (KJV)

Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”

King James Version (KJV)

Romans 8:9

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

King James Version (KJV)

Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 4:15

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

King James Version (KJV)

DOCTRINE MATTERS: Jesus Christ did NOT Become Sin for us; He was MADE TO BE SIN for us. (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

An actual display by a famous Opera Singer of our SOUL speaks

Now,.. Read with me John 20:21,22 KJB:

John 20:21

“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

King James Version (KJV)

Here are some key scriptures from the King James Version (KJV) where Jesus is referred to as the Son of David:

Matthew 1:1 - “The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”

Matthew 12:23 - “And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?”

Matthew 15:22 - “And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.”

Matthew 21:9 - “And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.”

Mark 10:47 - “And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.”

Luke 18:38 - “And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.”

Romans 1:3 - “Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.”  *

* Note:  the phrase "made of the seed" does not mean the DNA or from the sperm or from the ovum - human, but rather the lineage. Jesus came from the lineage of David from both Joseph and Mary.

Please see my detailed study on this as I presented in the Introduction:

Jesus Christ - within whom dwells The Father (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

Note: short excerpt from the above study:

God the Father is Spirit. Jesus Christ and the Father are one in the same; soul and Spirit and body.

Jesus IS IN the Father and the Father IS IN JESUS -  Study John 17 verses 21 through 23.  Meaning they are both one and the same. Profound proof is found in Exodus 3:14 and John 8:58.  It is essential to bear in mind The Father is Spirit, The Son, Jesus Christ is the  PERSON - Body - Image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15) within whom the Spirit of the Father Dwells as well as the self same Spirit of Jesus Christ Himself.

The Father functions as the very SOUL of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came not to do His own will but to do the Father's will which has sent Him (John 6:38-40)..

The will is the principal faculty of the SOUL of man that will function as either of God or of the first Adam who fell in the garden.  Throughout the Gospels Jesus repeats that he obeys and speaks what the Father - "the Spirit" within him speaks. *

*See study notes below of how the Holy Spirit speaks by the mouth of his servants.

You can look at yourself in the mirror. There is only one you and you see your outside body, yet within you dwells your SPIRIT and SOUL.

Noun Gender of the Holy Spirit: Neuter. However, we need to know why the King James Bible uses both Neuter and Masculine based on the context.  Read Romans 8:26,27 and John 16:13 for example.

Joseph was a direct descendant of King Solomon line of the King (Solomon was Joseph's great, great, great grandfather) giving Jesus the legal right to inherit the Kingdom of David. Mary provides Jesus with a biological connection to King David through David's son Nathan. *

  1. * Lineage: This refers to the genealogical descent from an ancestor. It is the tracing of family history and ancestry through documented records, such as birth certificates, marriage records, and historical documents. Lineage focuses on the family tree and the relationships between ancestors and descendants.

In the context of Joseph and Mary being descendants of King David in the King James Bible:

  • Joseph’s Lineage: According to the Gospel of Matthew, Joseph’s genealogy traces back to King David through Solomon (Matthew 1:6-16). This establishes Joseph’s legal right to the Davidic throne.

  • Mary’s Lineage: According to the Gospel of Luke, Mary’s genealogy also traces back to King David, but through Nathan, another son of David (Luke 3:23-38). This provides the biological connection between King David and Jesus Christ.

Therefore, while both Joseph and Mary are descendants of King David, Joseph’s lineage provides the legal right to the throne, and Mary’s lineage provides the biological connection12.

According to the genealogy presented in the Gospel of Matthew in the King James Bible, Joseph’s lineage is connected to King David through Solomon. Matthew 1:6-16 traces Joseph’s ancestry back to King David through Solomon, establishing Joseph’s legal right to the Davidic throne1.

To answer your specific question, Joseph’s great-great-great-grandfather was indeed King Solomon. This lineage is significant because it fulfills the Old Testament prophecies that the Messiah would come from the line of David and Solomon.

Here are some key scriptures from the King James Version (KJV) where Jesus is referred to as the Son of Man:

Matthew 8:20 - “And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.”

Matthew 9:6 - “But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.”

Matthew 12:8 - “For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.”

Matthew 16:13 - “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?”

Matthew 20:28 - “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

Mark 2:28 - “Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.”

Luke 19:10 - “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

John 1:51 - “And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.”

John 5:27 - “And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.”

Here are some key scriptures from the King James Version (KJV) that highlight how Jesus experienced human emotions,  temptations, hunger, and thirst:

Hebrews 4:15 - "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."

Matthew 4:2 - “And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.”

John 4:6-7 - “Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.”

Matthew 25:35 - "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in."

Here are some key scriptures from the King James Version (KJV) that show Jesus crying: John 11:35 - “Jesus wept.” This is the shortest verse in the Bible and occurs when Jesus sees the sorrow of Mary and the others mourning the death of Lazarus.

Luke 19:41 - “And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it.” Jesus wept over Jerusalem, expressing sorrow for the city’s future suffering.

Hebrews 5:7 - “Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.”

We must know who Jesus Christ is.

He is NOT the 2nd Person of the Trinity or another god of the 3 god Trinity or 3 person Trinity.

He is God Almighty and has existed for eternity and was NOT created by God the Father but rather brought himself through the womb - uterus - not the ovaries of the virgin Mary.

                 Why hast thou forsaken me?

forsaken Hebrews Strongs H5800 - left me - to leave,  relinquish  Ancient Hebrew Lexicon 2532 to go away from or neglect, reject.  Note: Interesting that 2532 also uses forsaken as "leaving ones family when purchased as a bride."

When studying this in context we see our focus is on relinquish and reject.
"

relinquish (v.)

mid-15c., relinquishen, "desert, abandon" (someone, a sense now obsolete); late 15c., "give up the pursuit or practice of, desist, cease from;" from Old French relinquiss-, present-participle stem of relinquir (12c.), from Latin relinquere "leave behind, forsake, abandon, give up," from re- "back" (see re-) + linquere "to leave" (from PIE *linkw-, nasalized form of root *leikw- "to leave").
From 1550s as "give up the possession or occupancy of."

Oxford English Compact Dictionary page 2481 Relinquish: To withdraw from, desert, to abandon. c. To give up as incurable.

reject (v.)

early 15c., rejecten, "eject, set aside, block from inheritance;" late 15c., "refuse to acquiesce or submit to," from Old French rejecter and directly from Latin reiectus, past participle of reiectare "throw away, cast away, vomit," frequentative of reicere "to throw back," from re- "back" (see re-) + -icere, combining form of iacere "to throw" (from PIE root *ye- "to throw, impel").

The meaning "throw away as undesirable or useless, refuse to take for some purpose" is by 1530s. From 1560s as "to repel or rebuff (someone who makes advances of any kind)," especially of a woman refusing a man as a lover or husband (1580s). The sense of "refuse (something offered)" is by 1660s.

Reject:  Oxford English Dictionary page 2477:
Cast away One who is thrown away as useless or worthless. The stone that the builders rejected. To dismiss a person from a relationship to oneself.  REPEL - REPULSE CUT OFF a person from some resource.

Focus on the sacrificial lamb being offered on the altar as a sacrifice - it is bound, killed, and its carcass rejected and thrown away outside the gate

God almighty literally appeared in history as a man child born of a virgin took upon himself the form of a servant to offer up himself as the perfect sacrifice for SIN*

*Philippians 2:7,8 KJB: Strongs G1096 and Strongs G3444 brought himself through the womb - not ovaries of the virgin Mary and not by the sperm of Joseph.  See essential studies below.

If we could pause here and meditate on the awesomeness of our Lord Jesus Christ who created all things and then humbling himself to come as a servant and die on the cross for our sins.   😢

It is hear I plead with the reader and viewer of this video to read and pray over Isaiah Chapter 53 King James Bible.

Hebrews 10:12

“But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”

King James Version (KJV)

Note: As I've gone over thoroughly in my Godhead studies "on the right hand of God" is a metaphor meaning to whom all power and authority is given.

Hebrews 13:11

“For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 13:12

“Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.”

King James Version (KJV)

Essential background study:

Acts 1:16

“Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.”

King James Version (KJV)

Isaiah 45:5

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:”

King James Version (KJV)

Romans 8:19

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

King James Version (KJV)

The phrase “which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of” is unique in the King James Bible.

There are several other verses that mention the Holy Ghost speaking through individuals. Here are a few examples:

Note: Whenever Ghost is used it is very specific and we see the function of the SOUL here. Giving the MIND of Jesus Christ.*

1 Corinthians 2:16 KJB

But we have the MIND (faculty of the SOUL) of Christ
The phrase “the mind of Christ” refers to the ability that

believers have to discern and understand Jesus’ thoughts as

they are revealed by the Holy Ghost in conjunction with the

 Bible

Acts 1:16

“Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.”

King James Version (KJV)

Acts 28:25 - “And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers.

Hebrews 3:7 - “Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,”

2 Peter 1:21 - “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

Modern day theologians insist that the King James Bible's use of both Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit are just mere "connotative differences but no theological difference. Again these apostate theologians and bible teachers discount and negate the King James Bible as archaic and outdated.

I strongly disagree.  Ghost is a highly "personal" meaning the eternal "spiritual" SOUL (mind, personality, character, will, desire, expression of a person - representing that Person in their animated state and when the person dies, their Ghost (SOUL) departs:

John 19:30

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

King James Version (KJV)

We humans were created in the IMAGE of Jesus Christ (body) and after His Likeness (in the essence of 3 parts: Body, Soul, and Spirit).

1 Thessalonians 5:23

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

King James Version (KJV)

Holy Ghost is the active SPIRIT of Jesus Christ functioning in our lives.  Note:  The Apostolic Age ceased. Only current gift is the gift of Prophecy.  Tongues, Signs and Wonders have ceased with the last apostles. The miracles of the apostles like raising the dead, handling poisonous serpents etc in Mark 16:18 KJB have ceased.  The gift of healing is not operated the same however we know of course that miracles still happen although not at will as in the days of the apostles.

Brother Cameron adds:

I agree that there are differences between the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit, and that these are not just mere "connotative differences with no theological difference" in the King James Bible.

And I also agree that when the Holy Ghost is used it refers to the "functions" of the Spirit of Christ.

I immediately also had to think of Matthew 1:20, which should also be included in the study.

Matthew 1:20

"But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

See my study:

Etymology:

ghost (n.)

Old English gast "breath; good or bad spirit, angel, demon; person, man, *

(Note:  Isn't this the spirit of a man functioning as his soul)

The shocking revelation here in the Oxford English Dictionary is on page 1138,39 Ghost is distinguished from spirit as a "SOUL" the individual's SOUL.

Our spirit and our soul are not separate persons - bodies as the Trinitarians would try to say, but rather we are only one BODY - Person and we are comprised of BODY SOUL AND SPIRIT.

Jesus Christ is the FULLNESS of the Godhead BODILY

Colossians 2:9 KJB.

When we carefully examine the context of each instance, we see that when Ghost is used it refers to the "functions" of the Spirit of Christ as in Romans 8:9 KJB in "personal relationship" and influence in man's life,  instead of the general term of the Spirit. The reason Ghost is used is as follows:

Key scriptures from the King James Bible where Jesus states that He speaks the words of the Father and not His own:

John 12:49-50 - "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."

John 14:10 - “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”

John 8:28 - “Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.”

These verses highlight Jesus’ emphasis on conveying the words and teachings of the Father.

Just as the Father - Spirit  dwelling in Jesus Christ spoke we have clear scripture of the same Spirit speaking through his servants like David.

Acts 1:16

In contrast, the term “Holy Spirit” appears only 4 times in the KJV1

The term “Holy Spirit” appears in the King James Bible (KJV) in the following four verses:

In each instance, the context is a "general" use:

Luke 11:13 - “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

Ephesians 1:13 - “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”

Ephesians 4:30 - “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

1 Thessalonians 4:8 - “He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Following is an excerpt from Brother Cameron Moshfegh's

Study:

Who is Jesus Christ? Godhead versus Trinity by Cameron Moshfegh (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

The following examples show that the Trinity is a form of applying man's wisdom and philosophies to the things of the Spirit of God, particularly to the Godhead, and the consequences thereof:

John 14:8-9

Even the inner circle around Jesus Christ struggled with precisely this conception of the Godhead that is based on man's wisdom and philosophy (John 14:8-9). This is also the case with Philip, who asks Jesus Christ to show them the Father (John 14:8).

Because Philip sees Jesus Christ's body, his request shows that he believes the Father to be a different Person than Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ's answer to Philip shows that Philip does not know Jesus Christ because he requests Jesus Christ, Who is bodily visible to Philip, to show them the Father (John 14:9).

But Jesus Christ's answer also shows that He expects a Christian who follows Him to know Him (John 14:9).

Galatians 3:13

When Jesus Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, this could not happen by destroying the law but only in fulfillment of the law, because God is not a liar and must keep His word (Proverbs 8:7-8).

Therefore, it is written that Jesus Christ came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17), and that Jesus Christ came not to do His own will but to do the Father's will which has sent Him (John 6:38-40).

However, it is also written that everyone that hangeth on a tree is cursed (Galatians 3:13). But how then could Jesus Christ redeem us from the curse of the law if He hanged on a tree and the law cannot be destroyed?

The only way was Jesus Christ being made a curse for us (Galatians 3:13), and this can never be undone, as the law cannot be destroyed because God is not a liar (Proverbs 8:7-8).

When we acknowledge that in Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9), God is only one Person, that is Jesus Christ, while the Father is Spirit dwelling in Jesus Christ (John 14:8-10, John 17:21-23), revealing God Himself being made a curse for us to redeem us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).

This shows the ultimate act of God's love for us (Ephesians 5:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 1 John 4:10, Revelation 1:5) and perfectly agrees with John 17:23 stating that the Father has loved us as He has loved Jesus Christ.

However, applying the Trinity here, which is to describe God as different Persons, implies the distinct Person of the Father and the distinct Person of Jesus Christ.

This would mean that the Person of Jesus Christ was being made a curse for us, but not the Person of the Father, because applying the Trinity implies that only the Person of Jesus Christ had hanged on a tree and not the Person of the Father (1 John 4:10).

This would make the Person of the Father child sacrificing and therefore less loving of the Person of Jesus Christ, which stands in violation of John 17:23 stating that the Father has loved us as He has loved Jesus Christ.

Therefore, it is revealed here that the Trinity perverts the Gospel into Molech worship (Leviticus 18:21) which is an abomination in God's sight (1 Kings 11:6-7). This again shows the danger of applying man's wisdom and philosophies to the things of the Spirit of God, particularly to the Godhead.

This study is to be continued, including but not limited to the use of the following Bible verses:

The Bible describes that a human being consists of spirit, soul and body as Paul is addressing the Thessalonians, and the Thessalonians are human beings (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

In the Bible a human is also described as a person.

Jesus Christ is described as the express image of God's Person (Hebrews 1:3)

Paul speaks of the person of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:10)

Pilate describes Jesus as a Person (Matthew 27:24)

Jesus Christ is born in the flesh and is conceived by the Holy Ghost in the womb of Mary (Matthew 1:20). No ovum or sperm is involved in the conception of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is a Man (has a body in the likeness of men) but He is not a human (Philippians 2:7).

Jesus Christ has always existed as a Man. He had to be born in the flesh to fulfill the law of the Old Testament.

Jesus Christ is God.

God created humans in his own image after his likeness (Genesis 1:26-27).

Psalms 22:16

“For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.”

King James Version (KJV)

The psalm describes the suffering, mocking, and physical agony that Jesus endured, including the piercing of His hands and feet (Psalm 22:16 KJV)

 Psalm 22:16

This verse is the Prophecy of Jesus’ crucifixion.

New Testament scriptures that reflect this prophecy:

John 20:25-27: Thomas, one of the disciples, expresses doubt about Jesus’ resurrection until he sees the nail marks in Jesus’ hands and the wound in His side.

Note: Thomas never spoke directly to Jesus about his doubting the resurrection from the dead, but rather privately with the other disciples: "Unless I see the his hands and the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his sise, I will not believe."

8 days later while indoors Jesus comes into NOT THROUGH THE DOOR - the doors being SHUT.  Jesus appears.

He says:  PEACE be unto you John 20:26, and then:

John 20:27

“Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

King James Version (KJV)

Luke 24:39: After His resurrection, Jesus appears to His disciples and says, “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.”

Will Jesus Always Show His Pierced Hands and Feet?

The scars on Jesus’ hands and feet are significant reminders of His sacrifice.

Jesus will always bear these marks as a testament to His crucifixion and resurrection.

In Revelation, Jesus is repeatedly referred to as the Lamb who was slain, indicating the continuity of His wounds in His glorified body

Did John in Revelation See Jesus’ Pierced Hands and Feet?

While the Book of Revelation does not explicitly mention John seeing Jesus’ pierced hands and feet, it does describe Jesus as the Lamb who was slain (Revelation 5:6, 12).

The reason this is significant is to show us how the BODY of Jesus Christ is significant. He is God and He is a PERSON who will be with us throughout ETERNITY.

Added commentary from Sister Ursula Exposedarkness511 and my response:

@ExposeDarkness511

Thank you for this heartfelt study. I wonder if this could be the meaning of: 2Co 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. ...that we get to know Christ as the Father, who is Spirit?

@ExposeDarkness511 Yes. Praise the Lord. How often I've read 2 Corinthians 5:16 without deeper thought. Now here today especially in light of this study how perfect. Amen! God bless you and Thank you Sister Ursula. Yes, absolutely. Jesus no longer walks among us in the flesh. From here, now throughout eternity, we know him no longer in the flesh, but as Spirit who is our Heavenly Father . I will add this scripture to the blog and in future references ...

ExposeDarkness511 You know, 2 Corinthians 5:16 is really extraordinary in the light of this study. This deserves its own study which I would very much like to address please feel free to send me anything you may have on this. The body of Christ is amazing how one member is able to add to what others have found. Praise the Lord and thank you again. You know, this requires us to go into the depths of 2 Corinthians chapter 5 which all seems to be the theme of our lives existing as the SPIRITUAL beings we are. A subject Paul discusses frequently as you're aware. We know after Jesus' resurrection from the dead he walked among mankind for 40 days being witnessed by over 500. My point is I know we will always - for eternity - see Jesus' BODY, His PERSON as we will see each other in our glorified (SPIRITUAL) BODIES for eternity. And in summary, yes, all things are spiritual to us as Paul states in 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 KJB: 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Part My Garments

Psalms 22:18

“They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.”

King James Version (KJV)

The casting of lots for His garments (Psalm 22:18 KJV), both of which are fulfilled in the crucifixion narrative in Matthew 27.

I will only do an introduction to why the Garment of Esau and casting lots for His garments are connected.

Romans 9:13

The Garment of Esau - שׁאוּל

The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, Esau is described as being born red and hairy, like a garment. Genesis 25:25 states, "And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau"1. This description emphasizes Esau’s distinct physical appearance from birth.

Kabbalistic interpretations, particularly from the Zohar, provide a deeper mystical understanding of Esau’s garment. According to the Zohar, Esau’s garments were originally from Adam and carried a divine scent from the Garden of Eden. These garments were eventually given to Jacob by his mother, Rebecca, to receive Isaac’s blessing. The Zohar explains that Isaac was not deceived by Jacob’s disguise; instead, he recognized the holy aroma of the garments and blessed Jacob because of it23.

Regarding the association of Esau with Rome, Kabbalists and some rabbinic traditions identify Esau and his descendants, the Edomites, with Rome. This connection is based on historical and symbolic interpretations. The rabbis saw parallels between Esau’s characteristics and the Roman Empire, particularly its dominance and conflict with Israel. Additionally, the rise of Christianity, which became the state religion of Rome, further solidified this association45.

The concept of Esau’s garment as an anointed mantle for Jacob symbolizes the transfer of divine favor and blessing from Esau to Jacob, who is considered the true Israel. This transfer signifies that the spiritual inheritance and covenantal promises belong to Jacob and his descendants23.

Genesis 3:11

“And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?”

King James Version (KJV)

Isaiah 61:10

“I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”

Revelation 3:17

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

King James Version (KJV)

Psalms 22:22

“I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 2:12

“Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 1:3

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 2: This chapter emphasizes Jesus’ humanity (being a man - an earthly being but not human) and His suffering for the sake of humanity.

“I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee” (Hebrews 2:12 KJV), highlighting Jesus’ role in bringing many sons to glory through His suffering.

Conclusion.

I conclude this study with a fervent prayer for those few whom the Lord will bring to this study and that they may learn, and their eyes be opened to KNOW HIM as witnessed on the ROAD to Emmaus.

Luke 24:31

“And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.”

King James Version (KJV)

Luke 24:32

“And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?”

King James Version (KJV)

Please read Luke 24:13-32 King James Bible

This verse describes the reaction of two disciples after Jesus, who had risen from the dead, spoke with them on the road to Emmaus and explained the Scriptures to them. They felt a profound sense of recognition and spiritual awakening as He spoke

story of the walk on the road to Emmaus is found in Luke 24:13-35 in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. Here is a brief summary:

On the same day as Jesus’ resurrection, two of His disciples were traveling to a village called Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem. As they walked, they discussed all the events that had recently taken place. Jesus Himself approached and began walking with them, but they did not recognize Him. He asked them what they were discussing, and they explained the recent events concerning Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus then explained to them the Scriptures concerning Himself, starting from Moses and all the prophets. When they reached Emmaus, they invited Him to stay with them. As He broke bread with them, their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him, but He vanished from their sight. They immediately returned to Jerusalem to share the news with the other disciples.

One of the disciples on the road to Emmaus was named Cleopas1. The name of the other disciple is not mentioned in the Bible, and there are various theories about who this person might have been2.

After they realized they were with the resurrected Jesus, they said to each other, "Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?"3. They were filled with amazement and excitement, recognizing the significance of their encounter with Jesus. They immediately returned to Jerusalem to share the news with the other disciples3.
