DOCTRINE MATTERS: Jesus Christ did NOT Become Sin for us; He was MADE TO BE SIN for us.

DOCTRINE MATTERS. Be a good BEREAN (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

In this video I exposed and rebuked Blessed Hope 117 for teaching her viewers that Jesus Christ BECAME SIN for us. This woman uses corrupted Bible Translations and is parroting what she heard from her apostate church pastor or some online false teacher. Among several issues, the most disturbing was the issue of BECOMING SIN = EXISTING AS SIN for us vs Being made as the SACRIFICE FOR SIN.   See full description below:

Brother Cameron watched the video and sent me the following study notes which is superior to what I had in my Blog and what I explained which was explaining the major differences between the verbs in context of to make and to become.  Brother Cameron did the full hermeneutic discipline of Context, Exegesis (grammar), and Harmonizing Scripture with Scripture.

This is also a confirmation because just a few days before, Brother Chris sent me an email stating that I needed more explanation and was too brief in a key area.

I am both humbled and blessed to have this and confess before the Lord and the Brethren that I failed to properly fully practice what I preach in fully examining DIVIDING the scripture to examine it carefully.  Instead, I only provided a short explanation.  Also, on key parts, I need to explain more instead of asking the reader and listener of the Blog to read my Blog links.

Isaiah 53:11

“He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”

King James Version (KJV)

Without further explanation please see WHY the King James Bible translation is the FINAL AUTHORITY of God's WORD:

Here is Brother Cameron's quoted email:

Thank you for bringing this as an equipment and edification to the Saints.

2 Corinthians 5:21 was on my mind ever since watching your video (DOCTRINE Matters.

Be a good BEREAN, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA0YrRas_qo

where you reprove this woman (BlessedHope117) who perverted 2 Corinthians 5:21 into "Jesus became sin". This perversion of 2 Corinthians 5:21 is wicked.

Today, I knew I had to compare 2 Corinthians 5:21 with Galatians 3:13.

Brother, please review and correct me in doctrine on the following that came from following and studying this:

2 Corinthians 5:21

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

Galatians 3:13

"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:"

Sin, when it is finished, brings forth death (James 1:15). Therefore, death is the price of sin.

High priests used to offer up sacrifice daily for their own sins and then for the people's (Hebrews 7:27), that is a sin offering to pay unto the price of sin (James 1:15). These sin offerings, such as the sacrifice of bulls and goats, were continually made because they were never enough to take away sin (Hebrews 10:1-14).

But there is no sin in Jesus Christ (1 John 3:5), He is without sin (Hebrews 4:15).

With His finished work on the cross Jesus Christ has fully paid the price of sin, not for Himself, because He is without sin (1 John 3:5, Hebrews 4:15), but for us (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), once and for all (Hebrews 7:27, Hebrews 9:12, Hebrews 10:10).

Therefore, when we are saved by having believed in the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), Jesus Christ has bought us (1 Corinthians 6:20, 1 Corinthians 7:23) with His finished work on the cross (John 19:30).

When discerning (separating or distinguishing its parts from another based on careful consideration) 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Galatians 3:13, the following comparison emerges:

"made him" - "to be sin" - "for us" (as in 2 Corinthians 5:21)

"being made" - "a curse" - "for us" (as in Galatians 3:13 )

(My note:  This is what 2 Timothy 2:15 means when it states RIGHTLY DIVIDING and NOT chopping out scripture from the Church which the Hyper-Dispensationalists do.)

Each of these two phrases is separated in the same way into three different parts that are logically connected in the same way.

The unit of words "to be sin" is the object of a sentence in 2 Corinthians 5:21 in the same way that "a curse" is the object of a sentence in Galatians 3:13.

(My note:
In grammar, an object is a noun or pronoun that is acted upon  )

When examining these parts and considering the Scriptures above regarding the price of sin, it becomes clear that "to be sin" is synonymous to "a sin offering".

It also becomes clear why "to be sin" is not the same as "sin", that is because "a sin offering" is not the same as "sin".

"to be sin" is not the appending of redundant words to the word "sin", but it profoundly changes the meaning.

Therefore, to turn "made him to be sin for us" into "made him sin for us", that is to say "Jesus became sin", is a perversion of the word of God.

Therefore, "made him to be sin for us" is synonymous to "made him a sin offering for us".

God, that is Jesus Christ, had made Himself a sin offering for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

and

God, that is Jesus Christ, Himself being made a curse for us to redeem us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13)

God bless you abundantly.

Your fellow servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Cameron

My Response:

Amen Brother.

Last night when I read your superb teaching of the difference between made vs became sin I immediately realized you took what I had put together and brought it to a much higher and more precise level of understanding with more economy of words. In short, a far more superior work than I had done.

I also realized going over your study that you in essence perfectly described the meaning of 2 Timothy 2:15 KJB RIGHTLY DIVIDING (NOT what I had pointed about how the HYPER DISPENSATIONALISTS chop out books of the bible but rather dividing EVERY WORD OF GOD TO EXAMINE I

 WOW

 Here is your quote:

When discerning (separating or distinguishing its parts from another based on careful consideration)

I thanked the Lord and immediately added your work to my Blog that described the difference. This is the Blog that I had in the YouTube video exposing that Blessed Hope woman.

PRAISE THE LORD BROTHER!

Here is the Blog:

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father John 14:9 (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

Well, You're going to laugh. Very early this morning I jumped up wide awake with an epiphany of sorts, that EUREKA moment.

The thought is: 'OH, WOW!!!

Cameron precisely taught the best meaning of made to be sin by correctly describing sin as the OBJECT of what he was made to be. WOW "

I jumped out of bed. I'm serious. Here I am typing to you at 0400 UTC - 5.

Yes, Brother.. It was at that precise moment I had a powerful unction from the Holy Spirit to GET UP - here I am, and working on a video taking your work to explain to people the IMPORTANCE OF DOCTRINE and how grammar matters and why the KING JAMES is so imperative in this late hour to be used as an antivenom.

Additionally, your study brings to light UNDER THE LIGHT OF STUDY TO SHEW YOURSELF APPROVED. Quoting the entire phrase - which you did - and not only isolating the verb TO MAKE which I did.

You bring to light perfectly that we have to examine the entire phrase: "made him to be sin vs became sin."

You state: quote:

"Today, I knew I had to compare 2 Corinthians 5:21 with Galatians 3:13.

Each of these two phrases is separated in the same way into three different parts that are logically connected in the same way. (my note: this is rightly dividing the word of truth)

The unit of words "to be sin" is the object of a sentence in 2 Corinthians 5:21 in the same way that "a curse" is the object of a sentence in Galatians 3:13.

When examining these parts and considering the Scriptures above regarding the price of sin, it becomes clear that "to be sin" is synonymous to "a sin offering"." End quote.

WOW

THANK YOU BROTHER THANK THE LORD.

God bless you abundantly dear Brother

Your fellow servant of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Here is the EXCERPT From the associated Blog in the Subject Video

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father John 14:9 (thethirdheaventraveler.com)

The perverted Bible Translations tell us that Jesus was Human and also tells us Jesus was born into sin or BECAME SIN:

However, the KING JAMES BIBLE does NOT say such perverse things:

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

As far as saying “Jesus became sin” goes, - This is as far from what is written as you can get, this is utter blasphemy. We must read scripture in context.

Note: Vocabulary lesson 101: “To become” literally means: To BE, to EXIST AS. In context to exist as Sin.

Atonement - He took ownership of our sins. Became the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. This harmonizes with Leviticus 16 and Exodus 12 in that Jesus Christ personally became the SACRIFICE.

1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Isaiah 53:6:... and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. And verse 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

False teachers use the incorrect translation for the verb “to make” as “to become or becoming” when translating 2 Corinthians 5:21. Here’s the full meaning “in context” of the word to make (from the past participle form made): Oxford English Dictionary page 1700: “To impose, impute, to do a thing unto, to perform, impute, impose charges in a legal (lawful) case - a lawful inquiry; to perform an act upon; formulate a case in order to perform, do, cause something to happen to someone; to bring about; to have something done to a person.

This harmonizes perfectly with Isaiah 53:6 The Lord hath LAID UPON HIM THE SINS… “to make” meaning to perform an act upon, to impose, impute, Strongs G4160:

Scripture with scripture:

Matthew 3:3, (Isaiah 40:3); Matthew 4:19, (Luke 5:10) Matthew 5:36, 12:33, 20:12, 21:13, (Isaiah 56:7) Matthew 22:2. The hard evidence is found in Romans Chapter 4, specifically verse 8. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not IMPUTE sin. The verb “impute” is synonymous with Impose, purposed, which are the contextual meaning of “to make” (made in the past participle.).

Question? Where did we get the phrase: Jesus “He” became sin who knew no sin?” This comes from an every day variety of sources, to wit: the Chris Tomlin song Lyrics and “church jargon” that pervert the King James Bible: People start to sing the lyrics a popular tune that is NOT ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE, as it tickles their ears they all clap and tap along to the devils entertainment system, mantras of twisted words not aligned with TRUE SCRIPTURE. We often find this in the Pop culture of the so-called, “Christian Music” world.

Matthew 5: 4 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages

Man·tra /ˈmantrə/ noun

1.
(originally in Hinduism and Buddhism) a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation.
"a mantra is given to a trainee meditator when his teacher initiates him"

Unlearned non King James Bible reading CINO (Christian in name only) go around in WILLFUL IGNORANCE parroting that Jesus BECAME SIN.

Additionally, we find the perverted translations change the syntax of the words to completely pervert the language.

Example:

Compare 2 Corinthians 5:21 (see the above KJV Version) in the NIV which states:

God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

The NIV is literally saying in the full syntax analysis that: “God created Jesus Christ with no sin and then made him to exist as sin>”

Adding to the above study notes: Let me add these:

Become in the context of scripture 2 Corinthians 5:21 = Oxford English Dictionary page 187 `14: The CONDITION or State (Existence) now attained = TO BE SIN. Be, when doing a very deep study means literally to EXIST AS that thing. To be in the state of existence. TO EXIST AS SIN is BLASPHEMY.

be

verb as in exist

Synonyms

abide
act
breathe
continue
do
endure
hold
inhabit
last
live
move
obtain
persist

prevail

To MAKE in the context of scripture 2 Corinthians 5:21 = FASHIONED, Fashioned like, Oxford English Compact Dictionary page 1700 paragraph 9B: To cause a person to EXPERIENCE something. To cause something to HAPPEN to a person. Something that Befalls a Person.

fashion

noun as in latest style, prevailing taste

Synonyms

Strongest matches

mode
model
pattern
shape
thing
tone
trend

We know FASHIONED IS HARMONIZED WITH FASHIONED AS MAN and IN THE FORM OF MAN. See the details in my links.

Philippians 2:8

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

King James Version (KJV)

We know that when perverted reprobate apostate bible scholars take the definition of MAKE as TO CAUSE A PERSON TO BECOME (EXIST AS SIN) this does not stand up to harmonizing scripture with scripture and is directly opposed to scripture that KNEW NO SIN and was SINLESS. Example Hebrew 4:15 here SIN in this context means to BE AND EXIST AS A SINFUL person or who is SIN.

Hebrews 4:15

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

King James Version (KJV)

Isaiah 53:11

“He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.”

King James Version (KJV)
