Isaiah 52:14

“As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:”

King James Version (KJV)

2 Corinthians 5:21

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

King James Version (KJV)

Hebrews 1:3

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”

King James Version (KJV)

John 14:9

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

What does it mean to that His form more than sons of men?

Reading this scripture, we understand that  the sight of (visage) Jesus' marked up, ripped up shredded, literally disfigured body (form)* was more than any man and their descendants in all history past, present and future.

Note: Once when I read this scripture to my 12-year-old daughter she said this is very difficult to believe that Jesus' body was more destroyed than the body of any other human being in the past present and future. Nevertheless, this is the infallible word of God and I believe it without doubt. Praise God when I asked her to stand on God's word existing as 100% true or a story book.  Thank God she said TRUE.  WHAT SAY YE LISTENER?

FORM:

Btw I studied topic of forms and I found those verses

Isaiah 52:12-14 KJV
For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward. [13] Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. [14] As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

Philippians 2:6-7 KJV
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Daniel 3:25 KJV
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

   My response:

Let's talk about the word FORM.

As I've repeated over and over we must apply CONTEXT, EXEGESIS (Grammar, syntax, vocabulary), and HARMONIZE SCRIPTURE.

Let's honestly look at the CONTEXT of Isaiah 52:12-14, Philippians 2:6,7, and Daniel 3:25 we know we are talking about the IMAGE of Jesus Christ. When we examine the word FORM in this context we have the following:

FORM - Oxford English Dictionary page 1059 = The VISUAL ASPECT, The IMAGE of a BODY.

ASPECT Oxford English Dictionary page 123 = The sight of something, the action of looking VIEWING something. The appearance of something.

Strongs Greek G3444 = EXTERNAL APPEARANCE

Strongs Hebrew H7299 FORM Ancient Hebrew Lexicon 1443 = APPEARANCE
Visual IMAGE

Harmonize scripture with scripture:

Colossians 2:8,9:

I invite you to read Isaiah 53 with me:

Isaiah
Chapter 53

1Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

2For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
