What is the difference between Biblical hope and the modern idea of hope?

What is the difference between Biblical hope and the modern idea of hope?




Yes, absolutely, there is a tremendous difference taking the King James Bible in each context of HOPE and comparing the modern bible translations and the Philosophy of Man and NOT after Christ. This is another reason why Paul warns us in Colossians 2:8 KJB. There is no coincidence that verse 9 follows teaching us the GODHEAD and not the Trinity.

I urge you to study Hebrews Chapter 11 KJB. Beginning with verse 1:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

We understand that Hope in throughout the King James Bible is based on the PATIENCE OF JESUS CHRIST (to endure suffering supernaturally by divine intervention), and By the FAITH “OF” JESUS CHRIST meaning His Faith and NOT our feeble ability to attempt to conjure up Faith and build hope in our ability.

The bottom line the Bible meaning of HOPE is DIVINE ability through Jesus Christ that is beyond our FEEBLE attempts which requires man’s RELIGIOUS practices and RELIGION.
