The Great Commission is one of the most used and Misunderstood scriptures of the Bible

The Great Commission is the Kingdom GOSPEL and is continually confused with the Gospel of GRACE.

Matthew 28:19

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

King James Version (KJV)

Here it is of no surprise that a reprobate in the faith is a speaker for the GOSPEL COALITION fell away from Pre-Millennial belief into Amillennialism.  The highest order of insanity are in his arguments in this link:

Why I Changed My Mind About the Millennium (thegospelcoalition.org)

Greg Liscomb gives us the typical "Baptist" view of no clue of what happened during the Gospel of the Kingdom compared to the GOSPEL of Grace.

Matthew 28:19,20 (marching orders from Christ to all real believers)

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

Dispensational Premillennial View

Dispensational premillennialists interpret the Great Commission within the framework of distinct dispensations or periods in God’s plan for humanity. They believe that:

  1. Literal Fulfillment: The Great Commission is to be taken literally and applies specifically to the church age. It is a mandate for the church to evangelize and make disciples of all nations until the end of the church age1.
  2. Future Kingdom: They anticipate a future millennial kingdom where Christ will reign on earth. The Great Commission is seen as part of God’s plan to gather believers who will participate in this future kingdom2.

Non-Dispensational Amillennial View

Non-dispensational amillennialists, on the other hand, interpret the Great Commission within a more unified view of God’s redemptive plan. They believe that:

  1. Symbolic Fulfillment: The Great Commission is symbolic of the church’s ongoing mission to spread the gospel. It is not limited to a specific dispensation but is a continuous mandate for the church throughout history3.
  2. Present Kingdom: They view the kingdom of God as a present reality, inaugurated by Christ’s first coming. The Great Commission is seen as the church’s mission to manifest this kingdom by making disciples and teaching them to obey Christ’s commands4.

Both views emphasize the importance of evangelism and discipleship but differ in their understanding of the timing and nature of the kingdom of God.

  1. I was reading Roman's 2:13-15. It seems that gentiles without the law are by their own stupidity put themselves under the law, but then try to justify themselves by their own deceipt. Would you give me more insight.
