The Cleansing is Coming….!

     “Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water,” Matthew 17:15. 

     “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man,” Luke 17:26. 

Introduction

     In “the days of Noah” there was a cleansing of the earth by a flood of water which covered the entire earth, Genesis 7:10-11; 7:17-24.  This was the second time that the entire earth had been covered by water, for just as a child by nature experiences a birth of water, so the entire earth experienced a birth out of the water, Genesis 1:2; 1:6-10.  

     There are some great spiritual truths in Christ Jesus casting the demons out of the young man in the account set forth in Matthew 17:15, but I have neither the time nor the inclination to go into them in this study.  I only wanted to point out the statement that the demon possessed young man often fell into fire and water.   So it is with this present evil world.   Twice in the past water covered the entire surface of the earth.  The prophetic Scriptures clearly indicate that twice in the future the earth is to be cleansed by fire, 2 Peter 3:10; 3:12.

     The cleansing of the earth by water is past!  What now awaits is the cleansing of the earth by fire.  And dear readers, the fire is on the way!   Take heed! 

Fire and Water

     The Apostle Peter, writing by Divine Inspiration, explicitly states, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away [parerchomai…to pass by; to go past…Strong’s No. 3928] with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up,” 2 Peter 3:10. 

     Folks, when the earth was cleansed by water in the days of Noah, it was not a total cleansing.  All over this earth today there are the ruins of stone structures and the ruins of cities and villages that existed before the flood.  On and inside these stone structures are inscriptions and depictions of what the ancient peoples referred to as “the gods who came from the sky.”  The “intellectual” [?] evolutionary scientists today who choose to be “willingly ignorant” of God’s Word, take great pride in pointing out the inscriptions in these ruins scattered all over the earth, as evidence that “aliens” once visited the earth.  They constantly spew forth their propaganda on various national and international TV channels.   Big deal!    

     If these “intellectuals” were half as intelligent as they fancy themselves to be, they could read Genesis 6 and see that God’s inspired Word states plainly that the fallen angels visited the earth in the days before the flood and infected the whole human race with their wickedness. It is highly likely that the advanced technology of the fallen angels was imparted to mankind before the flood, enabling mankind to build great temples, pyramids, and other structures of stone, dedicated to the worship of these so-called “gods who had come from the sky” to “enlighten” mankind.  It was precisely due to the “enlightenment” [Sic!] brought by these fallen angels and their nephilim offspring that caused mankind to descend into such extreme wickedness and rebellion against the Lord God of Heaven.   It was then the Lord God’s decision to cleanse the earth of these Satanic nephilim and all of mankind who had followed them by bringing a flood of water upon the earth as a judgment against such wickedness.

     I am grateful for the “grace of God” which enables me to be one of the true believers of God’s Word who believes in a flood that covered the entire surface of the earth, exactly as God’s inspired Word says that it did, Genesis 7:17-24.  While the flood in “the days of Noah” did destroy every living thing on the surface of the earth, exactly as stated in God’s Word, yet it did not destroy all of the evidence of previous habitation on the earth, by mankind and by the wicked so-called “gods who had come from the sky.”   Therefore mankind after the flood began once again to worship these “false gods” whose names and inscriptions were (and are) still engraved in the ruins of their stone structures which had survived the flood.  Nimrod, in less than 100 years after the flood, was again leading mankind into wickedness and rebellion against God, setting himself up as a “god” to be worshiped by mankind, Genesis 10:6-10; 11:1-9.

     But the Lord God is not through!  Just as the flood came in “the days of Noah” and totally cleansed and reshaped the surface of the earth, so in this next great judgment the Lord God is sending fire to cleanse and reshape the surface of the earth, and it is already on the way.  Take heed! 

     Why fire?  Because fire will do what the waters of the flood were not able to do.  Fire will literally burn or melt into oblivion every trace of the works of mankind, including those works inspired by the supernatural advamced technology of the fallen angels and nephilim and demonic spirits. When the fires of the coming Tribulation have subsided, there will not be a trace of any “false gods,” or “aliens” as the “willingly ignorant” want to refer to them, left on the face of the whole earth.  All trace of the “false gods” will have been vanquished from the earth for time and for eternity.  Mankind will not even remember that such “false gods” once existed or were once worshiped by depraved fallen men, Hosea 2:16-17.  The earth will have been totally “cleansed by fire.”  Glory to God!  Praise the Lord!  Hallelujah!

…..What is Coming?  Fire…! 

     In Malachi 4:1 the inspired Word explicitly tells us, “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.” 

     Dear readers, believe God’s Word for what it actually and literally says, and you won’t have to regret it later.   This inspired Scripture tells us…..

     [1]   That this prophesied “day of the Lord” that is coming upon the earth shall be as hot “as an oven.”  Now you ladies who do any cooking know the temperature setting at which you set your oven in order to cook and bake the food you place in your oven.  Most stoves today have a temperature dial on them allowing the heat in the oven to be set up to as high as 500 degrees.  That is the exact high temperature reading on my own oven dial, for I just checked the dial to make certain.   

     Some readers may think this is unbelievable.  “Why, no one on earth could survive in such high temperatures!”  Right?  Wrong!  Why do serious students of the Word think that the Lord God has been directing the wicked to build and prepare vast underground bunkers and shelters for the past 25 years?  Was it to protect the lives of the wicked Illuminist one-world government leaders?  No!  That is just what the wicked believe!  Unbeknownst to these wicked one-world leaders, the unseen hand of God has been directing them in their endeavors in order to guarantee the survival of the human race, even though the unbelieving wicked world planners are too morally, spiritually, and intellectually dull witted to realize that Almighty God still directs all the affairs of mankind for the ultimate good of His people and to His own ultimate glory, Daniel 2:20-22.  Read it for yourself in Psalm 76:10 and Romans 8:28. 

     Yes, temperatures on the surface of the earth will reach 500 degrees and even above, during the coming Tribulation period.  Read it for yourself…..  “Moreover the light of the Moon shall be as the light of the Sun, and the light of the Sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days,

in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of His people, and healeth the stroke of their

wound,” Isaiah 30:25. 

     Folks, believe God’s Word!   There are summer days here in Missouri that sometimes reach110 degrees.  Now multiply this temperature sevenfold and what temperature do you have?  770 degrees!  “Impossible!” some say?  Why?  My Bible says, “with God all things are possible,” Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27; 14:36; Luke 18:27.  But some readers will refuse to believe, saying, “Why, this is so hot that even some rocks would melt.  No one would be able to survive.”   Glory!  I knew some readers would finally stumble on to the truth of God’s Word!  How many of our readers have ever paid attention to such passages as Psalm 58:7-8, 112:10, Isaiah 13:5-11, Jeremiah 9:7, Ezekiel 21:7, 22:18-22, Amos 9:5, and Nahum 1:5-6?  If our readers will look up the word “melt” in your own Concordance or Lexicon, it is translated from different words in the Hebrew text. In some Scriptures the word is obviously used as a figurative expression; a figure of speech, but in other Scriptures it conveys the literal meaning of a person or thing being melted.  Hello!  It should be obvious that anyone stepping out into the sunlight on a day when the temperature is five or six or seven hundred degrees will immediately die of sunstroke, and then their fallen body will literally melt in such extreme heat.  Again, the only safe place to be protected from such extreme heat will be underground.  Isn’t it amazing that the Lord God of Heaven has allowed these wicked world planners today to prepare the very underground shelters that are going to guarantee the preservation of the human race?  How great and mighty is our God!  Praise His Holy Name! 

     Yes, people will survive such temperatures on the earth by going underground.  The prophetic Scriptures speak of men entering into the rocks, dens, and caves of the earth during the coming Tribulation.  But the prophetic Word also speaks of men emerging from such places, apparently when they think that the immediate danger has passed.  Read it for yourself in Isaiah 2:19-21 and Micah 7:16-17. It is obvious that the Lord God is going to reverse what the bulk of mankind  considers “normal” today.  Today mankind sleeps at night and carries on their activities during the day time.  But for a period of time during the Tribulation, men will sleep in their underground shelters during the day and go forth at night to work, seek food and water, etc.  For whatever period of time these high temperatures are in effect on the earth (the Bible does not say how long this will last) the distinction between day and night will be indicated by the temperature dropping when the Sun sets and the Moon arises.  Remember that the Scriptures explicitly state that the Moon at that time will give forth the amount of light that the Sun does today, Isaiah 30:25.        

     In studying about the Sun, we are told that the “normal” temperature of the core of the Sun is somewhere around 18,000 to 20,000 degrees, and it can become much hotter than that.  Folks, it is the Sun that is being directed by its Creator to throw off the swiftly approaching solar storms that will be striking the earth in a few more days or weeks.  Are you ready?

     [2]   This passage in Malachi 4:1 also makes it clear that God’s fiery judgment upon humanity during the coming Tribulation period will be selective.   It is the incorrigible wicked who are to be burned up like “stubble” and totally destroyed from off the face of the earth.  It is not those who repent of their sin and turn to the Lord during the Tribulation, who will be burned.  The truly repentant will be martyred by the wicked, Revelation 6:9-11. But there is no indication in the prophetic Scriptures that true believers will perish from the extreme heat.  When the Tribulation is concluded, only true believers will be left alive to enter into the Millennial Kingdom.  Study Psalm 37 and other similar passages and see this truth for yourself. Not one unbelieving Christ rejecter will be left alive on the face of the earth.   The Lord God does make a difference between His people and the wicked, Exodus 11:7; 2 Timothy 2:19.  Let God’s people rejoice and be glad that He does!

A Refiner’s Fire

     When Christ came the first time, He came as the meek and lowly “Lamb of God” to give

Himself as a sacrifice to pay the sin debt of all of Adam’s race.  Most folks reading the Bible today

still visualize the Lord Jesus as that meek and lowly “Lamb of God.”  Indeed He still is “the Lamb of God,” Revelation 5:6.  However, the visual image of Christ that most have in their minds today of Christ being meek [weak] and lowly [a doormat for men to walk on] is totally wrong! 

     The Lord Jesus Christ is not a weak “wimp” as some today portray Him.  Rather, when He comes again, He is coming as “the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,” Revelation 5:5. He is coming again as the angry “Lamb” to wreak vengeance upon the wicked who have spent the last 2,000 years mocking and ridiculing Him and Father God, Revelation 6:12-17.  When Christ came the first time, He made no distinction between men, but offered salvation to“whosoever believeth,” John 3:16; Revelation 22:17.  Yet most have spurned His invitation and rejected Him and Father God whom He represented, reviling Him with scorn and mockery.  “Payday” is coming, and is swiftly approaching as I write, Romans 6:23.

     The dear old prophet Malachi explicitly stated,

     “…..and the Lord whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. 

     But who may abide the day of His coming?  and who shall stand when He appeareth? for He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

     And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness,” Malachi 3:1-3. 

    I am well aware that the first part of verse 1 in this passage was applied to John the Baptist at the first coming of Christ.  But the rest of the passage most certainly does not apply to John, or even to the first coming of Christ.  Rather, these are prophetic Scriptures which apply to the second coming of Christ, and explicitly point out that His second coming will be like “a refiner’s fire.”  Compare Isaiah 4:3-4. Hello!

     Folks, to burn (or melt) the dross off from silver and gold requires an exceedingly hot fire, which is exactly what is predicted for the coming Tribulation period.  While many such passages in the prophecies of God’s Word are applied to the Jewish people, the Gentile peoples and nations of the earth are not exempt or overlooked by the Lord in this “refining” process. 

     Speaking of the Lord God in Psalm 119:119, the Psalmist was inspired to write, “Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross.”  Here is a passage that makes it clear that all of the incorrigible wicked shall be destroyed in the coming Tribulation period, and by fire, for that is the way dross is separated from the silver and gold. 

     That this fiery judgment is absolutely necessary is made clear by Proverbs 25:4-5, “Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the refiner.  Take away the wicked from before the King, and His throne shall be established in righteousness.”  Glory to God!  Hallelujah!  Praise the Lord! 

     In Isaiah 1:22 the Lord God told ancient Israel that in their wicked rebellion against Him, “Thy silver is become dross.”  Then in 1:24-25 the Lord warned them,

     “Therefore saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease Me of Mine adversaries, and avenge Me of Mine enemies.  And I will turn My hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away thy tin:”  Compare also Ezekiel 22:17-22. 

     Dear readers, this again suggests extreme heat during the coming Tribulation in order to accomplish the purification of the Jewish “remnant.”  Will this happen as I have been pointing out in this study?  Let’s see…..

       “Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is My fellow, saith the Lord of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn Mine hand upon the little ones. 

     And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

     And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people, and they shall say, The Lord is my God,” Zechariah 13:7-9. 

     This passage condenses the whole history of Israel into three inspired Scriptures.  Christ plainly stated in John 10:11 that He is “the good shepherd” of the Jewish people.  Yet they rejected and crucified Him.  As a result the nation of Judah was destroyed and the “sheep” of Israel were scattered all over the world.  And that is how it remained until 1948 when Israel was re-established as a nation. 

     Today there is approximately one-third of the estimated world population of 14 to 15 million

Jews living in the re-established nation of Israel in their ancient homeland.  And as I write Israel

is facing the most serious threat to their existence as a nation and people in their entire history.   Are they going to be annihilated by their enemies?  Destroyed as a nation?  No!  The Lord God clearly prophesies that He will bring them “through the fire”, and in doing so will “refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried.”  This means that there is going to be  extreme heat connected with the Tribulation period.  This is not all figurative language.  At some point in the coming Tribulation the Jewish people are going to “make their prayer” of repentance to God and call sincerely and earnestly for His help, and He will hear their prayer.  See Solomon’s prayer to God in 1 Kings 8:22-53, noticing especially verses 29-53.  Now carefully notice Psalm 102:1-3,

     “Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.    

     Hide not Thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline Thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

     For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as a hearth.” 

     Dear readers, this certainly suggests that at the time the “remnant” of Israel makes their prayer of repentance to the Lord God, they will be in the midst of fiery judgment.  Hello! 

More Scriptural Evidence of Fire

     It is well known that water boils at 212 degrees.  If the temperature on the surface of the earth was really to soar to 400, 500, 600, or even 700 degrees then the waters in the ponds, lakes, rivers, and oceans of the earth which had not already dried up by evaporation would begin to boil.  Is this not a reasonable conclusion?  You know it is!  Well guess what?

     Dear old Isaiah, the prophet of the Lord, prophesied many centuries ago that in connection with the coming of the Lord the waters of the earth would “boil.”  Read it for yourself…..

     “Oh that Thou wouldst rend the heavens, that Thou wouldst come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy presence. 

     As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make Thy name known to Thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Thy presence!

     When Thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, Thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at Thy presence,” Isaiah 64:1-3. 

     These Scriptures are a prophecy of the return of the Lord back to the nation and people of Israel, and it is explicitly stated that at the time the Lord returns, the waters on the earth will “boil” and the mountains will “flow down.”  Obviously from extreme heat!  Hello!

     Oh, remember that prophecy in Joel 1?  I suggest our readers carefully read the entire passage in Joel 1:5-20.  But notice the following passages which clearly set forth the truth of extreme heat and drouth during the coming Tribulation…..

     “The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth,” Joel 1:10. 

     “Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

     “Is not the meat [food] cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our

God?

     The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.

     How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

     O Lord, to Thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

     The beasts of the field cry also unto Thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness,” Joel 1:15-20. 

      Notice that it is explicitly stated in these prophetic Scriptures that the pastures [plural] have been burned up and the rivers [plural] have been dried up by “the fire.”  Now compare Revelation 11:6 and 8:7 to see an amazing correlation.  It is explicitly stated in 11:6 that God’s “two witnesses” will be given the power to shut up the heavens during the 1,260 days of their testimony, so that it will not rain a drop of water on the whole earth during that time.  Three and one-half years of extreme drouth!  Then it is explicitly stated in 8:7 that one-third of the earth is burned up and “all green grass” will be burned up.  No wonder “the rivers” will dry up, and the beasts of the earth will groan in their hunger for food and thirst for water.

 

HOW SOON…???

     Dear readers, the inspired Scriptures I have set forth in this study clearly point out that terrible atmospheric and climatic conditions are coming on the earth during the first half of the Tribulation, and the results and consequences of these conditions will likely extend over into the last half of the Tribulation.   So how close are these events to beginning?  I’m so glad you asked!

     As I write, a video has already been posted on the Internet this morning showing in living color a massive solar storm blasting off from the Sun this morning, and according to the astronomer who released the video, it is on a direct path towards the earth.  Hello!

     It is now well known, or should be if readers are paying attention, that a whole series of massive solar storms accompanied by more than 20 asteroids of various sizes are predicted to strike the earth beginning in September.   Yes, I do mean this September, just slightly more than two weeks from this writing.   Think about it! 

Conclusion

     Are you prepared to face these things?  Is this what you want to face?  There is only one way of escape from what is coming.  The Lord Jesus Christ Himself explicitly warned, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man,” Luke 21:36. 

    Now once again, let’s set the record straight!  The key word in this Scripture is not “worthy.”  The key words are “accounted worthy!”   There is not a human being on earth who deserves to escape the “wrath of God,” because, whether some like it or not, “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23.  If God gave to each of us, yes, I am including myself and YOU, what we really deserve, we would all end up in hell fire and eternal damnation.   But the God whom we true believers love and serve in truth, is a merciful and gracious God.  By His loving “grace” He made a way for each of us to be saved from sin and have “the righteousness of Christ” imputed to us, Romans 4; Ephesians 2:8-10.  It is therefore only those who have truly received the Lord Jesus Christ by faith who will be “accounted worthy” to escape these terrible judgments that are coming upon the earth.  We will escape them by being raptured to glory before the Tribulation begins.  If some readers choose to not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, that is their own choice and they will bear the consequences for it.  The Lord God whom I serve in truth is not a liar!  Revelation 3:10 is still in the Bible, right along with many other Scriptures

 which teach a Pre-Tribulation rapture.  My study on The Pre-Tribulation Rapture, containing Scriptural proof of such, will be sent to any reader upon request. 

     Now every reader has a choice, and any reader who is not saved better make their choice quickly.  The rapture could occur at any minute of any day now, for it is already established by the secular world that these asteroids and solar storms are on the way and will begin striking the earth in September.  “… behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation,” 2 Corinthians 6:2.  Those readers who are unsaved still have an opportunity to call upon the Lord for salvation and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, but you better hurry!  Even tomorrow may be one day too late.  Read John 3:16, 3:36, 5:24; 14:6, Acts 4:12, 16:30-31, 20:20-21, 20:26-27, Romans 10:8-13, Ephesians 2:8-10, and Titus 3:5.

      I do have a deep burden for the lost to be saved, and genuinely  want to meet every reader in glory when our Lord comes to rapture His people.  “Please don’t disappoint me.”  This is not simply a cliché!  It is the genuine desire of my heart. 

     I could reference many other Scriptures which refer to or teach this same truth about the Tribulation being a time of “fiery” judgment.  I have just barely scratched the surface.  Study God’s Word for yourself and take heed!
