My Response to
Asbury Revival is a Christian wake-up call: listen to the Holy Spirit and expect the unexpected
Background: To my long-time readers, subscribers, followers you know I came out of the New Apostolic Reformation, Emergent Church, Dominion Theology, Zionism Evangelical Movement. Read Links in NOTES BELOW exposing these movements and related Blog studies. In short, I do NOT speak with words without knowledge and heavy handed, hard experience. I attended the 2006 Centennial Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles which experienced very similar "so called" movements of the Holy Spirit. All of the Charlatan, REPROBATE WOLVES, HERETICS came pouring out of the woodwork, BENNY HINN, KENNETH COPELAND, MYLES MONROE, YONGI CHO and many others. I poured thousands of dollars into this. And By God's grace I WAS DELIVERED from the bewitching powers of false spirits posing as the Holy Spirit. BEWARE you do not become BEWITCHED by false teachers to make merchandise of you. Or you may be taken as SPOIL by their lies. Read Galatians, Read 2 Timothy Chapter 2, Read Colossians Chapters 1 and 2. Read 2 Peter Chapters 2 and 3.
I invite the reader to study carefully the above article by Christen Limbaugh Bloom the niece of the late Rush Limbaugh. When you read this article through the lens of the following note, you will see why she would be supportive of this NEW AGE MOVEMENT - AWAKENING - SPIRITUAL REVIVAL EMERGENT CHURCH, UNIVERSALISM, NAR, ECUMENISM, MYSTISISM, GNOSTICISM that is NOT Biblical in its fullest sense. I will explain further.

(Meaning: SPEAKING SPECIFICALLY TO THE PHARISEES: My Father works in this (specific work of healing on the Sabbath) also of which I am "of" the Father - meaning I am God and with this authority do this work specifically lawfully am working on the Sabbath day.

Christen uses a perverted Bible translation, and it saddens me greatly that she sent her dying uncle a text message of Romans 8:28 with a complete misunderstanding of those called by God (perverted Bible translation) to the KING JAMES: THE CALLED of. God. Another very important lesson for another day.

I was actually not surprised to hear Alison Perfater quote from Habakkuk 1:5 to describe the movement - phenomenon - experience going on in Asbury. It is the perfect paradigm used in all these REVIVALS. See below where I specifically address Habakkuk 1:5. Interesting that Alison Perfater failed to quote Acts Chapter 13 where Paul fulfilled the prophecy of Habakkuk 1:5 and thereby explains the meaning, context and purpose of Habakkuk.

The Toronto Blessing is a supposed outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the people of the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship Church, formerly the Toronto Airport Vineyard Church. On January 20, 1994, a Pentecostal pastor named Randy Clark spoke at the church and gave his testimony of how he would get “drunk” in the Spirit and laugh uncontrollably. In response to this testimony, the congregation erupted in pandemonium with people laughing, growling, dancing, shaking, barking like dogs, and even being stuck in positions of paralysis. These experiences were attributed to the Holy Spirit entering people’s bodies. The pastor of the church, John Arnott, referred to it as a big Holy Spirit party. The moniker “Toronto Blessing” was given, and the church was soon in the international spotlight.
When this “blessing” is held to the light of Scripture, however, it can scarcely be called such. Absolutely nowhere in Scripture can one find a precedent for what was happening at the Toronto Airport church. The nearest that Scripture comes to describing the paralysis and bizarre behavior prompted by the Toronto Blessing are its documented effects of demonic possession (see Mark 9:18).
The Toronto Airport church became known for its congregants’ emotional outbursts and odd psychological displays. Pastor Arnott began focusing almost exclusively on “the party of the Holy Spirit.” Experiences were being held in higher esteem than Scripture. This was even too much for the extremely charismatic Vineyard Movement, which severed ties with their Toronto Airport church in 1995, prompting the name change to Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship.
