My Responses to the Trinitarian FOOL (thethirdheaventraveler.com)
Matthew 7:21 and John 6:38 KJB are perfect examples of THE WILL of the Father = The function of the SOUL. The faculty of the soul is our will, desire, feelings, mind. The function of the spirit is communion, conscience and intuition. If a person would seriously take the time to do the Blog link studies this is examined in exhaustive detail. But it can always come down to this: We are created in the IMAGE (person, body) of Jesus Christ and after His Likeness (essence of 3 parts = 1 Thessalonians 5:23). Jesus Christ has existed before time and throughout eternity future because he is a PERSON comprised of SOUL and SPIRIT. When God (Jesus Christ), the EVERLASTING FATHER (Isaiah 9:6 KJB) brought himself through the womb of Mary to be the son of man as our redeemer, his omnipresent spirit functioning as soul stood as a witness and testimony. (In the witness of 2 or more is every word established). Romans 8:16,17 KJB: The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
that relates in great part to the gross FLESH CARNAL understanding (the carnal mind is ENMITY against God)
Romans 8:1
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
All those who are either spiritually lost or are striving UNLawfully are following another GOSPEL are walking in errant DOCTRINE and are groping blindly in the DARK. They do not know God but believe honestly in their hearts they do.
Let's examine Jonah and his life. What Jonah writes the context of Jonah 2:8 is He was following his OWN SELF WILL following his own Vain Imagination. Colossians 2:8 emanating from his Carnal Mind - which is enmity against God. Romans 8:7 KJB.
Jesus wants us to be spiritual and NOT carnal. He wants us to walk in the spirit and NOT after the FLESH. What does this look like?
We must understand that before we are saved our BODY SOUL and SPIRIT. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJB. We are NOT 3 persons but One created in the IMAGE - BODY PERSON of Jesus Christ. We also are created after HIS Likeness having 3 parts, Body, Soul and Spirit.
The Spirit: The spirit of man has 3 faculties: CONSCIENCE - right from wrong; INTUITION - spiritual awareness - 6th sense; and COMMUNION - Communication with the Spiritual Realm. Saved persons with the Spirit of God. Unsaved the spirit of the Antichrist - Satan.
The Soul: The faculty of our Soul is our Will, Emotions, Desire, Feelings, Mind.
Body: Our body is our physical body.
After salvation Jesus wants us to go through the process of sanctification (becoming holy and Christlike) Work out our salvation (works not unto salvation but rather perfecting our sanctification) with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12. How does this work?
For an in-depth study of the Spiritual Man, I recommend reading Watchman Nee's: "The Spiritual Man"
Even after Salvation our SOUL is in charge and we act out of our emotions, will, desire. This was the case of Jonah who thought what God wanted was beneath what his desires stated.
Jesus wants our SPIRIT to rule and reign supreme over our SOUL and for our SOUL to be in control of our BODY.
To be spiritual and walk in the spirit we must study the King James Bible. In doing so we understand that as His Word abides in us and His Spirit (Jesus Christ) abides in us and HE teaches us all things and guides us into all truth. We believe this and live by faith applying and agreeing with the Word of God.
When the Word says that we are CRUCIFIED with Christ and we LIVE by the FAITH of Jesus Christ we must believe by FAITH that this has already happened and stand on that even though there are days it doesn't seem so. Read and meditate on Galatians 2:20.
Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
King James Version (KJV)
We must mentally PRAY without Ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17, and enter into mental spiritual warfare Praying Ephesians 6:10-18 KJB:
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
2 Corinthians 10:2-5 KJB
