Bible Study Outline Notes for Revelation Chapter One Verses 7
Revelation One Verses 7 through 10 KJB
Preface:
Following the essentials of understanding before beginning the study of Revelation (Godhead, The Mystery, Literal PreMillennial Interpretation) presented in last lesson, We now must understand that Revelation is laid out in a timeline chronologically after Chapter 1 beginning with the letters to the 7 churches, then beginning with the 21 Judgments (7 SEALs, 7 Trumpets, 7 Vials) concluding the 2nd Advent of Jesus Christ and the Battle of Armageddon Revelation 19 and then the Millennial Kingdom Reign of Jesus Christ with His Saints (ONE in ISRAEL = The Church, The Bride, The Wife, The Jewish Remnant, The Tribulation Saints, and the Old Testament Saints.) and into the Eternal State that is implied through omission.
We must understand Literary interlude See brief overview and review see below.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Key scriptures to harmonize:
COMETH WITH CLOUDS
Before looking at cross reference scriptures, let’s examine the word COMETH. In my study, the King James Bible’s use of suffixes est, eth, etc., I showed detailed evidence of why this is so important. This word is in the present indicative third person referring to an action that is happening imminently, more importantly the suffix “eth” is a superlative signifying extreme importance and the highest degree of this verb. IF we examine the word to come it means, “verb: to arrive by movement and to appear (visually). Why would this be a superlative?
The highest degree of comparison. Absolute. When we see this verb used in a normal sense we take note. For example: The President comes (physically arrives) to the podium. We note this is marking an important even. So when John makes the superlative it literally means: This is a MAJOR of the highest degree declaration that the KING OF KINGS arrives back on earth.
EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM
It is often misunderstood that “every eye shall see him” is an allegory and certainly not to be taken literally. I personally take exception with this and ask this very fundamental question in logic.
Currently, when the Sun is directly at 12:00 GMT/UTC overhead in Western Hemisphere, in 24 hours the Eastern Hemisphere has a full view of what the Western Hemisphere saw. But scripture gives us a clue to the changes in time during the Tribulation. Days will be shortened (literally). Matthew 24:22 KJB.
Time as the standard 24 hour day will be so vastly different during the Tribulation it will be unimaginable. Look carefully at Amos 8:9 KJB:
Amos 8:9
“And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:”
King James Version (KJV)
"THE DAYS SHALL BE SHORTENED" - Revelation Central
What does it mean that every eye will see Him when Jesus returns (Revelation 1:7)? | GotQuestions.org
Also we know the earth will have been shaken like a drunkard and islands removed, etc. The earth's rotation and tilt will be unknown but certainly a 24 hour period will not be as it is now. Revelation 6 and 16.
Take a hard look at Revelation 6:14-17. Things are NOT at all Normal but now the supernormal is a thing of common place. See my Revelation 6 comments below:
SOME HERE WILL NOT TASTE DEATH UNTIL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM Matthew 16:28 KJB.
Again, we must understand the major difference between the RAPTURE and 2nd Coming.
The Rapture happens imminently without warning which brings in the Tribulation also as a surprise. But with the 2nd Advent of Jesus Christ, IT IS WELL KNOWN because ALL EYES SEE HIM. This does not happen with the Rapture. See 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, Revelation 4:1,2, and 12:5,
Matthew 24:30
“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
King James Version (KJV)
Mark 14:62
“And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”
King James Version (KJV)
Luke 21:27
“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”
King James Version (KJV)
Daniel 7:13
“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.”
Note: The perfect scripture to clearly reveal the full meaning Daniel 7:13 is Matthew 16:27 KJB
Matthew 16:27
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
King James Version (KJV)
Note:
SOME HERE WILL NOT TASTE DEATH UNTIL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN HIS KINGDOM Matthew 16:28 KJB.
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
John 1King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Using the antecedent of the 3RD person plural subject pronoun “they” we clearly see THEY = Angels in Daniel 7:10
Daniel 7:10
“A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”
King James Version (KJV)
Now read and compare with Revelation 5:1-14 KJB.

Time to get serious about the Godhead vs Trinity
Many of the false teachers teach that God the Father gives God the son permission to go to earth this is perfectly matched with the perverted Trinity image here
Post Image of Vatican Trinity
When you read the PERVERTED TRANSLATIONs ex: Daniel
Now we must harmonize when God returns to earth to execute His Judgment Study: Psalm 18:10, 97:2-4, 104:3, Isaiah 19:1, Nahum 1:3.
Ancient of Days is Jesus Christ clearly: Read and Harmonize Daniel 7:9 with Revelation 1:13-18.
Genesis 1:26 - Colossians 1:15,16, 2:8,9.
Without doing an entire study of the Godhead here, we know that Jesus Christ as the Ancient of Days returns to earth and is witnessed by the Godhead - IN THE GLORY of The Father
Remember: Jesus is the IMAGE of the INVISIBLE God. He is BEFORE all things and all power is given to him He CREATED ALL THINGS.
Time to STOP here and read Colossians 1:15,16; 2:8,9 KJB.
Jesus Christ is the FULNESS of the Godhead BODILY.
Compare with my study At the Right Hand/On the Right Hand and knowing there is one Throne there is not God the Father and a LAMB sitting on his lap.

Who are they in Daniel 7:13?
And they brought him near before him.
Study assignment: Study Antecedent of the pronoun, plural “they” with Daniel 7:10-12.
In contrast we can look at
and they brought him near] The subject might be angelic beings; or, which is probably better, it may be indefinite, like the ‘they’ of Daniel 7:5; Daniel 7:12, i.e. and he was brought near (see on Daniel 4:25).
See Bible Hub Commentary:
Daniel 7:13 Commentaries: "I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. (biblehub.com) * Note: Most modern Bible commentary in last 150 years has to be carefully examined. Perfect example is the perverse translation and interpretation of Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary
In Daniel Chapter 7 We see Jesus holding Judgment ultimately we know it will be the GWTJ.
HOWEVER, when we harmonize Psalm 68:17-18 we CLEARLY SEE REVELATION 19
Note: We see Daniel 7:26 harmonizes with Revelation 19.

Megiddo | Ancient City, Biblical Armageddon, Palestine | Britannica
Phase I the bodies are killed at the Battle of Armageddon. The first death. Phase 2 when they are resurrected for the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT they will go into the 2nd Death along with all the other billions who died before the Tribulation.

Chapter 6
King James Version (KJV)
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Zechariah 12:10
King James Version
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
See this moving commentary by Matthew Henry regarding Zechariah 12:10 Notes below:
Note: After the Jewish Remnant is miraculously removed from Jerusalem into Petra by the guidance of God moving His spirit among the remnant and led by someone (I believe King David. See Micah 2:12,13, Chapter 5, Psalm 23, Jeremiah 30, Psalm 118:20, Isaiah 20:10, 61:1, Matthew 7:13, etc.) We know from Zechariah that it will all culminate when they (Jewish Remnant) actually see Jesus appear when they are brought before him when they see Him and are gathered from the 4 corners of the earth.
Note: It is this gathering from the 4 corners are those Tribulation Saints who survived and the Jewish Remnant that escaped to Petra.

For a review of Literary Interlude please read following except from The Millennial Kingdom
One of the biggest hurdles I’ve encountered in all my years of studying the Bible is grasping and mapping out one of the major literary devices known as “Literary Interlude” that may or may not function like a parenthetical pause, but most often functions in a complete change of scene,or subject. If you’re unaware of this please do an independent study on Interludes in the Bible.
An interlude in the Bible is a pause or a break in the narration or the music12.
It may indicate a change of scene, a shift of focus, or a moment of reflection.
But even before understanding the Literary Interlude, I find a great deal of us need stronger skills in solid bible hermeneutics based on Context, which is often - I find - the biggest culprit in understanding scripture, Exegesis - in part understanding of grammar, syntax, vocabulary, etc, and Harmonizing Scripture with scripture. If you’re not familiar with these terms and you may struggle understanding scripture, please study my study on how to study the KING JAMES BIBLE.*
*Note: I repeat this all the time. IF YOU ARE NOT USING A KING JAMES BIBLE YOU ARE ON THE WRONG PATH.
Understand the Bible - From a Workman Approved unto God by His Grace (thethirdheaventraveler.com)
Interlude is used frequently in scripture especially in the Old Testament Prophets. When we read and study the book of Revelation, identifying and understanding the Interlude is essential. Some of the prime examples of interlude are found in Paul’s shift in Romans chapters 9 through 11 which is a major shift of focus, but in Revelation scriptures like Revelation Chapter 12, and Revelation Chapter 21 (The New Jerusalem), the focus of this study, the shift in focus goes into a complete shift of scene and circumstances. which brings to the subject of this study.
To make this as simple as possible, working through an interlude requires STUDY and study is hard work as you’ll find in my study on Understanding the Bible. It is the 3rd step in Bible Hermeneutics - Harmonizing Scripture - that must be used thoroughly.
Just as Revelation 12 stops from the chronological linear record of events from the 7th Trumpet Judgment - Revelation 11:19 The Temple of God (The New Jerusalem while still in Heaven) is in view - to go back in the chronology and identify The Church Raptured (HARPAZO G726) as well as the Tribulation Saints and the Jewish Remnants situation - Revelation 21 sets up the Beginning of the Millenium. If the reader has done even a cursory reading of scripture one has discovered it not unusual to be reading an Old Testament prophet for example talking about present, near future and extreme future events in the same scripture. One also finds that one chapter goes back into time and another goes far into the future. Just as one of hundreds of examples please go to Isaiah Chapter 11. We see here prophecy showing Jesus Christ, the Church (who is grafted into the branch) in verse 1 that sets up the Millennial Kingdom then Isaiah jumps into the Battle of Armageddon and the 2nd Advent of Revelation 19, verses 4,5, on to verse 6 we see we’re looking at the Millennial kingdom and in verse 11 we’re looking at the recovery of the Jewish Remnant that takes place during the middle of the Tribulation and outlined in Revelation 12:6,13.
