The Corollary Garland: The Song of Moses and Where We Stand in the Final Moments of This Age
Revelation 1:1
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”King James Version (KJV)
Revelation 2:7
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”King James Version (KJV)
The Corollary Garland: The Song of Moses and Where We Stand in the Final Moments of This Age
A corollary (add-on - additional from the word coronation garlard given as an extra award) study built on "Created to WORK, Saved to REST: Let Us Examine Ourselves Before Our Day of Judgment" (The Third Heaven Traveler, Nov 2026). All scripture KJV. Draft outline is my audio notes and listed and scapped by AI for informational purposes and not doctrine. All information here is my original input and has been thoroughly checked. I only use the King James Bible exclusively and by God's Grace do not remove anything or change anything other than the exact scripture of the KING JAMES BIBLE as the FINAL AUTHORITY of the WORD of God.
The Warning
I am compelled by the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost, to get this word out to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. This is the warning.
- Revelation 2:7 — "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."
- Matthew 13:16 — "But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear."
- Ezekiel 33:6 — "But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."
Revelation 19:10
“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”King James Version (KJV)
A Teacher Speaking in the Spirit of Prophecy
I, Andrew Sheets, am a teacher, called to teach. I have taught both professionally and biblically for nearly 20 years. Today, in this study, I present a rare moment: in the name of Jesus Christ and by His authority, I am operating and exercising the spirit of prophecy.
- Revelation 19:10 — "for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
- 1 Corinthians 14:3 — "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort."
- 1 Corinthians 14:32 — "And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets."
- See my studies on the spirit of prophecy in these days (The Third Heaven Traveler): "Understanding Prophets; Analysis of my Blog Studies" (Jun 2026);
- "The Gift of Prophecy in the Age of Grace" (Jan 2022).
Subject to the prophets. I understand that in speaking in the spirit of prophecy, I am subject to the prophets and disciplined by them. What I say here I present as spoken in the Spirit, and I submit it to be judged by the written Word of God and by the prophets.
- 1 Corinthians 14:29 — "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge."
- 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 — "Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
- 2 Peter 1:19 — "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place."
Philadelphia and Laodicea: Encouragement and Warning
This word is encouragement to the Church of Philadelphia and a warning to the Church of Laodicea.
- To Philadelphia (encouragement) — Revelation 3:10-11: "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."
- To Laodicea (warning) — Revelation 3:15-17: "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked."
- The call — Revelation 3:19-20: "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

Thesis Statement
This study is a corollary to "Created to WORK, Saved to REST": a truth that follows directly from that foundation, given to the listener as a bonus, a garland, an added award. Yesterday's study showed that we are created to work, saved to rest, and that our works will be judged. Today we take the Song of Moses as our ensample and get really real about where we are now, in the very final moments of this age, and what that means for the crown we will receive or lose.
1 Corinthians 10:11 — "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."
Opening Scripture
1 Corinthians 9:25 — "And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible."
I. Foundation: Why This Is a Corollary
- The baseline study showed we are created to work and saved to rest, and that our works will be examined at the judgment seat of Christ.
- 2 Corinthians 5:10 — "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
- Psalm 90:17 — "And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it."
- A corollary is the truth that follows directly from what has already been established: if our works are judged, then our works are rewarded, and the reward is pictured as a crown.
II. Background: The Word "Corollary"
- Etymology: from Latin corollarium, money paid for a garland; a gratuity or bonus. From corolla, a little garland or chaplet, diminutive of corona, crown or wreath.
- Roman custom: small garlands were given to banquet guests and to performers who did well; Pliny the Elder notes they were first made of real flowers, later of gilded metal leaf. Corollarium came to mean an extra reward above wages.
- Into logic: Boethius (c. AD 524) used corollarium to render Greek porisma, a "bonus" truth that comes free once the main proof is done.
- English sense (OED): a proposition following from one already proved; a natural consequence; earlier, something additional, a surplus or gratuity.
- Application: the corollary of faithful work is the garland of reward, given over and above.
III. Word Study: The Crown
- Crown — Greek stephanos, Strong's G4735: a victor's wreath or garland awarded in the games, not a royal diadem (diadema, G1238).
- Corruptible — phthartos, G5349: perishing, subject to decay; the athlete's wreath of leaves withered.
- Incorruptible — aphthartos, G862: imperishable, not subject to decay.
- Reward — misthos, G3408: wages, pay for service.
- Judgment seat — bema, G968: the raised platform where the judge sat and victors were crowned.
- English "crown" comes through Old French corone from Latin corona, the same root as "corollary". The word and the reward share one family.
IV. The Five Crowns
- Crown of Righteousness — 2 Timothy 4:8: "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
- Incorruptible Crown — 1 Corinthians 9:25-27: "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
- Crown of Life — James 1:12: "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."
- Crown of Glory — 1 Peter 5:4: "And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away."
- Crown of Rejoicing — 1 Thessalonians 2:19: "For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?"
V. Work Tested, Reward Given
- 1 Corinthians 3:13-14 — "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward."
- Salvation is the free gift; the crown belongs to sanctification and reward (tie to the Rest theme of the baseline study).
- Hebrews 4:9-10 — "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his."
VI. Hold Fast: The Crown Can Be Lost
- Revelation 3:11 — "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."
- 1 Corinthians 9:27: the danger of being a castaway (disapproved for reward, not loss of salvation).
- 2 Timothy 2:5 — "And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully."
The Song of Moses: Our Ensample
Moses is the grieving witness. For forty years he watched a whole generation fall in the wilderness, short of the promised land, because of unbelief.
- Exodus 15, the song of triumph — sung at the Red Sea. Exodus 15:17: "Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established."
- Deuteronomy 32, the song of warning — given just before Moses died. Deuteronomy 32:29: "O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!"
- Psalm 90, the prayer of the witness — "A Prayer of Moses the man of God." Psalm 90:7: "For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled." Psalm 90:12: "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."
The horror Moses witnessed:
- Numbers 14:29 — "Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me."
- More than 600,000 men of war, beside the women, died over forty years. Only Caleb and Joshua of that generation entered (Numbers 14:30).
- Hebrews 3:17-19 — "But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? ... So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
The ensample for us: they were redeemed out of Egypt, yet fell short of the inheritance. We are saved by grace, yet our works will be judged and our crowns can be lost (1 Corinthians 10:11; Revelation 3:11).
The Plea to Laodicea
This is what the Lord Jesus Christ has placed on my heart: a plea to you, Laodicean church. Check yourself. Time is running out; the end is coming. Some will call it doom and gloom, but the watchman must blow the trumpet.
Lukewarm doctrine is all over the map today:
- Denial of the pre-tribulation rapture.
- Denial that Paul was an authentic apostle.
- Teaching that there is no hell for humans.
- The affirming church.
- The social gospel.
- Teaching that the book of Revelation does not apply to the church.
- Christian Zionism and hyper-dispensationalism corrupting the church (see "Let Us EXAMINE Ourselves"; also "Why Hyper-Dispensationalists Remove Prophecy for the Church" and "DRY BONES Ezekiel 37: Evangelical Zionism").
- The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and Christian dominion theology, exploding under the current administration. See my studies exposing the NAR [Add links here]; also "The Woman On The Beast In End Time Prophecy Has Dominion Theology" (Don Koenig, posted Oct 2013).
- False teachers and false prophets, and it goes on and on.
The plea:
- 2 Corinthians 13:5 — "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves."
- 2 Timothy 4:3-4 — "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
- Revelation 3:18 — "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed... and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."
- Romans 13:11 — "for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed."

Time Has Run Out
Time has run out. The present perfect tense says the limit has been reached, yet its impact carries on into the future; God has a sense of humor.
- Revelation 10:6 — "that there should be time no longer."
- Genesis 6:3 — "yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." Noah was warned 120 years before time ran out for the wicked.
- Psalm 2:4 — "He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision."

- "Day of Christ vs Day of the Lord" (Sep 2026)
The seventh day and the third day: God rested on the seventh day, and we are now entering the seventh millennium. As in the days of Jonah, we are living in the third day.
- 2 Peter 3:8 — "one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."
- Genesis 2:2 — "and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made."
- Hosea 6:2 — "After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight."
- Matthew 12:40 — "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."
- "The Sign of Jonah for our Time" (Mar 2022)
- "The Sign of Jonah" (Jul 2014)
A generation and the third day:
- Psalm 90:10 — "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away." Moses' own measure of a lifetime, seen against Israel's rebirth as a nation in 1948.
- John 2:1 — "And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there." The wedding on the third day.
The signs we are seeing:
- Matthew 24:6-7 — "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."
- Matthew 24:12 — "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
- Matthew 24:37 — "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
- 2 Timothy 3:1-5 — "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy... Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
- 2 Timothy 3:13 — "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."
- 2 Timothy 4:3-4 — the time when they will not endure sound doctrine (see The Plea to Laodicea).
- Luke 17:28-30 — "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."
- 1 Thessalonians 5:3 — "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
- Daniel 12:4 — "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."
- Matthew 24:38-39 — "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
- Revelation 12:5 — "And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne." [Note to self: teach on Revelation 12:5 here.]
Encouragement to Philadelphia: Look Up

https://www.thethirdheaventraveler.com/2024/03/revelation-19-conclusion-we-must.html
To the Church of Philadelphia: rejoice and look up. We have a little strength. Be strong; we are at the door, and the countdown is on.
- Revelation 3:8 — "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."
- Luke 21:28 — "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."
- Titus 2:13 — "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."
- 1 Corinthians 15:58 — "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
VII. Capstone: The Garland Returned to the Giver
- Revelation 4:10 — "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne."
- 1 Corinthians 4:7 — "what hast thou that thou didst not receive?"
- The garland is a gift, a bonus beyond what we earned, and it is laid back at the feet of the One who enabled the work.
- Return to the opening: "they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible."
Conclusion
Moses watched - witnessed for 40 years an entire generation of Israelites fall short of the inheritance because of unbelief. The Holy Ghost speaking through the Songs of Moses is written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Time has run out; the signs are all around us. This corollary is your garland, your bonus award: examine yourself, hold fast, and work while it is day ...
- To Laodicea: be zealous and repent; open the door while He still knocks (Revelation 3:19-20).
- To Philadelphia: you have a little strength; look up, for your redemption draweth nigh (Revelation 3:8; Luke 21:28).
- To the lost: believe the gospel now — "how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Closing scriptures:
- Psalm 90:17 — "And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it."
- 1 Corinthians 9:25 — "Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible."
- Revelation 22:20 — "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
