I came out of the NAR DOMINION THEOLOGY EVANGELICAL movement. I fully understand the Jews require signs and the Greeks (in context of scripture - learned gentiles - secular world) seek after wisdom (of man - philosophy and logic, things not spiritual), and that the things of the cross are a stumbling block to the Jews and foolish to the Greeks (in context of scripture - learned gentiles - secular world) 1 Corinthians 1:22-24. I understand the church - NOT a 501C3 Brick and Mortar building operation run by an apostate trained CEO called a Pastor - the true body of Christ - the Saints - live by faith and are not living by MOEDs (feast days) in this realm now, and we are not looking for signs, however, by reading scripture we have a unique and blessed opportunity to see the "BIG PICTURE" and can therefore be awake and aware of our season and be looking up. The Sign of Jonah as addressed by Jesus in Matthew 12:38-45.

Jesus told the Pharisees the sign of Jonah would be both a prophetic foreshadow - a typology of his death, burial and resurrection. This is clear and undeniable.


However, what many forget is this prophecy is also a sure sign - a milestone of the end times. Too many scholars get off the bus stop of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. Too many Saints don’t bother to look deeper into scripture. My prayer is that this study edifies the body of Christ and inspires us all to read our Bibles more to prove ourselves good workmen unto our Lord and strive lawfully to fight the good fight for our crowns. AMEN! Maranatha!


The SIGN OF JONAH for our time in this late hour is 3 fold and is connected in these 3 steps to begin with background and in the final step to explain the future - our - we the Saints - future awesome ROLE which is now at our doorstep.


1. Jesus has cursed the Pharisees who've just accused him of being of Satan and have rejected him as their Messiah. This sentencing upon the Pharisees represents the stiff necked Jews- up to national Israel of today who refused their Messiah and who have forsaken their own mercy. Take a moment to read the book of Jonah to fully understand what Jesus meant when he cursed the Pharisees in Matthew 12:38-45. Then read the next chapter in Matthew, chapter 13 and then Matthew 23. 3. Peter's declaration at Pentecost Acts 2:24-36 the marker to declare the 69th week of Daniel 9:27 has been fulfilled and the remaining to fulfill Joel 2 ahead. Pentecost ---- KEY Shavuot - FEAST OF WEEKS (weeks or sevens) Leviticus 23:15-17. Read Daniel Chapter 9. The fulfillment of the building of the rebuilding of the first temple through the Crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ brings us to 69 of the 70 weeks completed. The remaining week is yet to be fulfilled which is the 7 weeks - 7 years of the Tribulation also known as the time of Jacob's Trouble. Within Acts 2:24-36 we have the entire map laid out before us. To understand we have to read and fully comprehend Psalm 2, Revelation 12; 19:15, and Daniel 12. Within the context of these scriptures together we find how Jesus Christ, King David and the Body of Christ are all intertwined in typology and actual "literal" physical fulfillment of 3 additional scriptures found in Exodus 19:11, John 2:1, and John 21:14 to ultimately fulfill Hosea 6:2.

Hosea 6:2 is the completion of the SIGN OF JONAH. Jesus' resurrection is only the beginning of this fulfillment that too many Bible Scholars and these apostate pastors teach their misguided flocks.


Note:

The High Priest accused Samuel's mother Hannah of being drunk. The assembly accused Peter of being drunk in Acts 2. This has huge significance and meaning for the Body of Christ. Whenever there is a tremendous breakthrough from the Spiritual world being manifest in the flesh the accuser of the brethren uses mankind to mock those who have been anointed. What Peter is saying in Acts 2 is utterly profound in that he gives the Saints a perfect picture of the End Day the beginning of the Time of Jacob's Trouble which will be our perfect window.


Jonah


Jonah was in the belly of the whale or large shark for 3 days and nights. Once swallowed Jonah literally died. He was dead. He was not walking around inside of this fish. Read the details with scripture proving that he was speaking to God from Sheol in this study. Also read where Jonah died in Nineveh and was buried there. This is significant in that his unwillingness was punished with death unto life for God’s extraordinary display of using whomever to accomplish his will and that afterwards Jonah’s rage and displeasure with God ended his purpose there. This is what Paul calls Old Testament examples to give us LESSONS LEARNED.

In 2:1 it is explicitly stated [in the present tense] that Jonah prayed to the Lord “out of the fish’s belly.” But then in 2:2 [in the past tense] Jonah refers to a prayer that he had previously prayed “out of the belly of hell [sheol].” Sheol is the place in the underworld where the spirit or soul of the deceased went while humanity was still living under the Old Covenant. Further, Jonah described in detail exactly how he had died after being cast into the sea.

Jonah plainly stated that “The waters compassed [encircled] me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head,” 2:5. It should be obvious to any reader that water does not enter into our soul, unless we have drowned. When any reader takes a bath or a shower, the water is used to cleanse the skin or outward surface of our body. There is no way we could honestly say that the water entered into our soul, unless we possibly slipped in the bathtub, knocked ourselves unconscious, and drowned in the bath water. Notice that Jonah further said, “the weeds were wrapped about my head.” If the sea weeds were wrapped tightly about Jonah’s head, he would have suffocated. Whether Jonah drowned or suffocated, Jonah died in the belly of the fish. PERIOD!

In 2:3 Jonah explicitly stated that the Lord had cast him “into the deep” [abyss…bottomless pit]. Compare the wording of this Scripture with what is prophesied about the Lord Jesus Himself in Psalm 42:6-7 and 88:1-18. Jonah was a type of Christ! This is clearly set forth by the Lord Himself in Matthew 12:40-42. Now let’s see this truth demonstrated…..

When Jonah was swallowed by the “great fish,” body and soul, Jonah’s body spent three days and three nights in the belly of that fish, while Jonah’s soul went down into sheol in the lower parts of the earth. Any reader who has ever studied even a little bit about the digestive system of living creatures should know that the digestive system breaks down the food received into the stomach by means of small amounts of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. I think the stomach of a great white whale would contain much more hydrochloric acid in it, than the stomach of a mere human being. For three days and three nights the hydrochloric acid in the stomach of that great white whale burned the body of Jonah. While the Lord kept the body of Jonah from being destroyed, nevertheless Jonah’s body was seared with the stomach acid of that great fish. Think about it!

After “three days and three nights” in the belly of the great fish, Jonah was finally “vomited out” by the fish, 2:10. The Lord God had brought Jonah’s soul back into his body and restored life to Jonah’s body, 2:6. Now there is the great miracle that needs to be associated with Jonah, the miracle of the resurrection. Which is greater, keeping Jonah alive in the belly of the fish, or resurrecting Jonah’s dead body back to life? Well…??

Jonah would then have been absolutely grotesque in appearance. All of Jonah’s hair would have been burned from off his body by the stomach acids of the fish. He would not have had a hair left on his body anywhere. Even his eyebrows would be gone, causing him to look totally different from other men. Jonah’s flesh, from the top of his head to the soul of his feet, would have been seared by the stomach acids of the fish, so that parts of Jonah’s body would have appeared as deep bloody red, other parts deep bruised purple or blue, deep ghastly green, or some parts snow white. Jonah’s appearance would have been absolutely hideous to the men of Nineveh. He would have literally looked like a monster of a man who had been to hell and back, and had returned from the dead. At that point in human history, I would suggest that the body and face of Jonah appeared, similar to the Lord Jesus Christ after him, “marred more than any man,” Isaiah 52:14. Remember that the Lord Himself set forth Jonah’s whole experience as a type of the experience of Christ, Matthew 12:40-42. The Lord God had prepared Jonah to preach to the inhabitants of Nineveh, so that Jonah’s very appearance would compel the citizens of Nineveh to listen to him.



King David


Both a Type of Christ and literally referring to himself.


The reader can and should read through all the associated scriptures carefully for themselves.


Here’s how the SIGN OF JONAH is applicable to David. Not only did the Spirit of God give Jonah the utterance from Sheol to cry out, but it is also recorded by David over 300 years earlier. And would be fulfilled by both David and Jesus Christ 700 years later. What is stunning is David will personally fulfill the full and final resurrection again at the MID TRIBULATION and lead the Remnant out of Israel to PETRA.

King David entered Sheol upon his death. I believe it is possible David's grave was opened among those of the Old Testament Saints which were opened upon the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross, and came out of his grave - sepulcher with other Old Testament Saints and walked around Jerusalem with the other Old Testament Saints when Jesus was resurrected from the dead after 3 days. Matthew 27:51-53.


We know from scripture taken from 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 15: 51-52 these Old Testament Saints would not have been given eternal - immortal life in their glorified bodies at this time. Since scripture does not tell us what happened to these Saints, we can only conclude they eventually died again and their bodies were buried again. However, I believe this was only a very temporary event, perhaps a few hours. Matthew 27:53 is clear in that these Saints appeared but does not say lived among those who had witnessed them. It was obviously just a brief appearance of shocking moments as shock and awe then the bodies walked back to their graves. Also in Acts 2:29 Peter tells us that David at the time of Acts 2 is both dead and buried in his present day sepulcher.


But the main point here is I believe scripture tells us that King David will be resurrected again at the Mid Tribulation and lead the Jewish Remnant out of Judea and into Petra. Daniel 2:2,3; Micah 2:12,13, Hosea 1:10,11, Psalm 2, Revelation 12:5-7, Acts 2:24-34, 2 Chronicles 6:6, Psalm 16:10, 30:3, 49:14,15, 55:15, 86:13; Jeremiah 30:7-9 2 Samuel Chapter 7. The Feast of Weeks called as the Pentecost in the New Testament times. The prophecy of this feast was fulfilled by Jesus’ resurrection and entrance into the Most Holy Place in heaven and pouring out the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, the fiftieth day after the Resurrection. Moses went up Mount Sinai and received the Ten Commandments, which represented that Jesus would enter the Most Place in heaven and receive the Holy Spirit and pour it out on His disciples (Acts 2:1~4, Heb. 9:11~12).


Moses camped in front of Mount Sinai and went up to the mountain before God on the first day of the third month of the sacred year, the fortieth day after his landing from the Red Sea on the twenty-second day of the first month. This event indicated that Jesus would go up to heaven on the fortieth day after His resurrection (Ex 19:1~7, Acts 1:3~9). In the Good News Bible it is written, “the first day of the third month” (Ex. 19:1). Thus, the works of Moses on Mount Sinai show those of Jesus in the heavenly sanctuary.

The Israelites across the Red Sea arrived on the Mount Sinai on the first day of third month of sacred year, walking in the Desert for the fortieth day. This day was the fortieth day after his landing from the Red Sea on the twenty-second day of the first month, and Moses went up Mount Sinai to receive Then Commandments on the eleventh day of the third month (total of fifty days) of sacred year after passing more the ten days.

God appointed the Feast of Weeks when Moses went up the Mount Sinai for the first time to receive the Ten Commandments on the fifty days from the Day of Firstfruits, so that they might remember these days and commemorate them for the generations to come (Ex 16:16:25, Ex 24:1~18).

Psalms 2 Gives us a terrifying account of how fierce the reign of Jesus Christ and we with him in administering justice during the Millennial reign. We Saints who are with him and complete within him and He in us. This is perfectly harmonized with Ephesians 1:17 - 21 & Ephesians 2:5,6 KJV. which clearly tells us this: When we are saved, we are raised up together with Jesus Christ and reside with him, in him far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come.


For the Saints. Each of us know precisely who we are (Romans 8:16) and those few of us who have come to Christ, (Matthew 13:23; Matthew 22:14, 1 Corinthians 1:26-30, Chapter 2) not that we came of our own will, but according to His will we were chosen IN HIM (Jesus Christ) before the foundation of the world, predestined us to be His children according to His (Jesus Christ) will. (Ephesians 1; Romans 8:29) . Most importantly Christ knows who are his. (2 Timothy 2:19.) and we know (the spirit know, the mind understands) that we are his (Romans 8:16,17)


When our Lord called, we fell down before our master as if dead as John did in Revelation 1:17; we soon learned we had to come to the cross and die to self and to know what humbling ourselves as did Naaman (2 Kings 5) who had to humble himself we willingly fell on the Foundation Rock we by faith believed our Lord Jesus Christ came and died on the Cross for our sins, that he was buried according to scriptures and rose again on the third day according to scriptures. Amen. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) We agreed to take the cross and were crucified with our Lord. Amen! (Galatians 2:20). Our crucifixion is our refining fire through the furnace of affliction. (Romans 5:3-5; 2 Corinthians 4:8-18) We are now IN Christ in Heavenly places (Ephesians 1) and will soon be transformed into his likeness when we calls us and meets us in the air (1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 ) here very soon, Amen! We all know and see the times we live. We Saints also truly know by the Spirit all things spiritual and are led in the Spirit of Truth, Jesus Christ. JOHN, 1 Corinthians.


We know who Jesus Christ is and this is our foundation, we build our foundation on nothing other than knowing Jesus Christ is the IMAGE of the Invisible God, and that the fullness of the GODHEAD dwells in our Jesus Christ fully. Colossians 1:15, 2:9. We do not follow after the vain philosophy of man who created by stoic philosophy and after BAAL Worship the heretical theory of Trinity but only GODHEAD which is in the King James Bible.

When we read Psalm 2 we see the heathen are rebelling against the Lord, who administers his kingdom through his royal priesthood representative on earth. Revelation 12:5 - Revelation 5:10. The 24 Elders represent the Church. See my study on "Time to Study Casting Crowns."


There are 3 of us to consider as given by the sign of Jonah.


Jesus the First Born and The First Fruit who was resurrected.


The Church Age Saints us at the Rapture which will continue through the Millenium and into the Eternal State with our Lord Jesus as the Head.


And as mentioned above, David who will be resurrected at the Mid Tribulation and later receive his glorified body at the 2nd Advent along Jesus entered Sheol upon his death. David will be gathered along with the Jewish Remnant he leads to Petra and at the middle of the Tribulation 2 Chronicles 6:6; Psalm 2 Micah 2 , following the 2nd Advent when Jesus Christ returns at the Battle of Armageddon with the Saints and destroys Satan and the Antichrist's army in The plain of Megiddo Joel 3:1-2; Zechariah 12:3; 14:1-4; Revelation 16:14-16; 19:19-2.


In Revelation 12:5 This is referring to the Saints and NOT Jesus Christ as so many bible teachers have incorrectly taught for years.

Galatians 4:26 Jerusalem is the mother of us all - the body of Christ. Galatians 4 is about being grafted in a child of Promise as was Isaac. Galatians 4.


Revelation 2:27 It is the church who shall rule with Christ with a rod of iron. See this with Acts 4:13-31. These bold unlearned Christians were speaking with the POWER OF GOD. Peter quotes Psalm 2 in Acts 2:24- ; Micah 5:3


Psalm 2:7-8: Ask of me and I will give thee the heathen for thy inheritance. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.


Revelation 5:9,10 It is the church - represented by the 24 Elders that God has made us to be kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.

MORE ON THE 3RD DAY

In day the third" in the surface text of the Old Testament you will find encoded in this phrase on an equal letter skip of 2 the Hebrew term "Shiluv" which is the modern day Hebrew term for "Rapture."

This is the Hebrew term you see in my gematria findings which has the value of 343.

The "third day" theme in Scripture has great prophetic significance. I won't go into all of that here, but I only want to show you what I have discovered this morning. In John 2:1 we read the following:...."And "on the third day" there was a wedding in Cana...... etc..etc." This verse has prophetic implication in relationship to the Millennial reign of Christ. David will be resurrected at the beginning of the Millennium, along with all the other Old Testament saints. And David will be one of those who reign with Jesus in the Kingdom (Daniel 7:27). However, all believers will rule the nations (Revelation 2:26–27; 20:4) and judge the world (1 Corinthians 6:2). The apostle Peter calls Christians “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation” (1 Peter 2:9). In terms of this agreement they will either be disarmed or be asked to transfer their military forces and weapons to an international peacekeeping force. Furthermore, they will be persuaded to make room for the Palestinians by dividing their land. In exchange for these concessions, their safety will be guaranteed by the false messiah (Antichrist), and they will also be allowed to build their temple in Jerusalem. Being initially under the false impression that the Antichrist is the true Messiah, they will not hesitate to transfer all governmental control to him.

When Israel commit treason against the Antichrist as the self-declared God of this world in the middle of the tribulation period, they will have no military, humanitarian or logistical support of any nature. They will have to flee by foot, without food and other provisions for the journey, and with only the clothes on their bodies. Given these particular circumstances, it is evident that their destination could not be very far. Petra is about 220 kilometres southeast of Jerusalem. Although it will be a difficult journey, it is not too far for pedestrians. It should further be taken into account that the Lord will cleave the earth behind them, thus preventing the progress of the false messiah’s forces. This flight reminds strongly of Israel’s Old Testament Saints walking around Jerusalem after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

The EXODUS from Egypt, when the forces of Pharaoh were cut off and destroyed at the Red Sea by the Lord. He then cared for His liberated people in the wilderness, which means that He will also fulfil the end-time fugitives’ needs of food and water. It is clearly stated that a remnant in Israel will be “nourished for a time and times and half a time” (Rev. 12:14).

The command to the inhabitants of Jerusalem (the core of the Jewish nation) is clear: “Flee to the mountains!” (Mt. 24:16). The mountains in Israel are not very high, the highest ones being about 1200 metres. Also, they do not offer safe refuge to a large group of people. At Petra, however, the mountains are about 1500 metres high, being the highest in Jordan. They are of the most rugged and inaccessible mountain ranges in the world. It will be very difficult for the enemy forces to reach the Jewish exiles here. In terms of the following prophecy in Daniel 11:41 the Jews will certainly know that Jordan will be a relatively safe refuge as this country will not be directly controlled by the Antichrist: “He shall also enter the Glorious Land [Israel], and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon.” The territories of these three ancient peoples coincide with the present Jordan. In the light of biblical prophecy it would, therefore, be very wise to flee to the deserted mountain fortress of the Edomites in Jordan. It is also significant that Petra has been declared a world heritage site that may not be attacked, bombarded or in any way damaged during times of war. This is another factor which renders Petra a safe place of refuge during future wars in the Middle East.

It is quite possible that the end-time Jewish fugitives will pray the prayer of Psalm 60:9-12, “Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom? Is it not You, O God, who cast us off?… Give us help from trouble, for vain is the help of man. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.”


The Battle of Armageddon


When the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns at the end of the great tribulation, the battle of Armageddon will reach its peak. ar against Jesus Christ and His heavenly army (Rev. 19:19). The Antichrist, the false prophet, the kings of the earth and their armies will be gathered together to make w antichrist an his armies will be deployed in various places in a concerted effort to obliterate the remaining Jews, and also to fight against their coming Messiah. According to Zechariah 12 and 14, many of them will be positioned in and around Jerusalem, as they will know that Jesus will set foot on the Mount of Olives (Zech. 14:4). Joel 3 says that there will be a large concentration of troops in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, which is the Kidron Valley between the Old City and the Mount of Olives. Revelation 16:16 states that there will also be a great mustering of multi-national forces in the Valley of Megiddo in Northern Israel. Isaiah 63 says that the southern flank of the troops will reach Bozrah, south of the Dead Sea, before they will be stopped in their tracks. Bozrah is 40 kilometres southeast of the Dead Sea, about halfway between the Dead Sea and Petra. The southern divisions of the Antichrist’s forces will probably be on their way to destroy the remnant of Israel in their mountain fortress in Petra.


In Isaiah 63 we read the following about the second coming of the Messiah, when He will save the remnant of His people and take revenge on the enemies of His kingdom: “Who is this who comes from Edom, with died garments from Bozrah, this One who is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? – I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Why is your apparel red, and your garments like one who treads in the winepress? I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the people no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes. For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come. I looked, but there was no one to help, and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; and My own fury, it sustained Me. I have trodden down the peoples in My anger, made them drunk in My fury, and brought down their strength to the earth.”

The remnant of Israel will be hated and utterly forsaken by all their former friends and allies, with the result that nobody will come to their rescue when the false messiah and his world powers will set out to destroy them. Their Messiah, Jesus Christ, will come to their salvation on the critical moment, and destroy their enemies. The southern vanguard of the enemy forces will be stopped only 40 kilometres from Petra. The enemies of God and of Israel will be killed with the sword that proceeds from the mouth of Him who sits on the horse. And all the birds will be filled with their flesh (Rev. 19:21). The Mount of Olives, where Jesus will first set foot, will cleave into two halves. This mountain will also offer a place of refuge to Jews who are pursued by their enemies: “Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, for the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, the king of Judah. Thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with You” (Zech. 14:5).


and the whole nation will be led by KING DAVID during the last half of the Tribulation. Yes! I do mean “the King David” of the Bible. If any reader has never been confronted with this truth before and desires to study it for themselves, I urge you to read my study on The Davidic Covenant. I will be glad to send it to any reader requesting it.

As the Jews leave Petra, they will follow “their king” out of Petra who will follow the Lord Himself. This is clearly stated right here in Micah 2:12-13. Read it for yourself! This is the marching order in which the Jews will leave Petra.

Garments stained with Blood

When the Lord steps out from “the cleft in the rock” [the narrow valley] exit from Petra opening on to the desert floor, immediately He will be confronted with the hordes of wicked men who will have assembled there to overwhelm and destroy the Jews in Petra. The battle will begin!

The prophet Isaiah saw this battle in a vision given to him centuries ago by the Lord.

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Wherefore art Thou red in Thine apparel, and Thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? [Compare Revelation 14:19-20].

I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was none with Me: for I will tread them in Mine anger, and trample them in My fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon My garments, and I will stain all My raiment. [Compare Revelation 19:11-13].

For the day of vengeance is in Mine heart, and the year of My redeemed is come. [Compare Isaiah 61:1-3].

And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore Mine own arm brought salvation unto Me; and My fury, it upheld Me.

And I will tread down the peoples in Mine anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth,” Isaiah 63:1-6.

This mighty battle against His enemies and the enemies of Israel will be fought by the Lord all the through “the wilderness” right up the EAST SIDE of the Dead Sea. Compare Ezekiel 38:21-23, 39:1-8, Zechariah 14:1-15, and Revelation 19:11-21.

That this will be a real, literal battle is proven by the fact that when Isaiah saw the Lord, he marveled that His clothing was stained “…red…..like him that treadeth in the winefat…” The Lord Himself said, “…..their blood shall be sprinkled upon My garments, and I will stain all My raiment.” This truth is also verified in Revelation 19:13. The Lord in giving mankind His Word, always practices what He preaches. Read Deuteronomy 19:15 and 2 Corinthians 13:1.

This same Jesus…

Little details about this final battle can be found in many other Scriptures in God’s Word if people would study the Scriptures carefully.

For instance, Psalm 110:5-7 speaks about this same final end-time battle, even making this observation, “He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall He lift up the head,” 110:7. A look at a map of that area, will reveal that about half way up the EAST SIDE of the Dead Sea is the Arnon river. This Scripture tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ will pause at that river and “…drink of the brook in the way…,” and that when He drinks of it He will be refreshed. Now why would the Lord need to be refreshed? Because He is coming back to this earth as the Kinsman-Redeemer; the heir of Adam, and is therefore coming back as a MAN. Hello!

Some believers seem to think that when Christ arose from the dead with a “glorified” body He ceased to be a “man.” They couldn’t be more wrong! Many years after the Lord had ascended back to the Heavenly Father, the inspired Apostle wrote, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” 1 Timothy 2:5. Folks, to this day our Savior and Mediator is still “Emmanuel;” God in flesh; the Divine Man. The glorified body of Christ is simply a different “species” of mankind, that is, “a new creation,” just as are we New Testament believers, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Read James 1:18. The Lord’s human body has already been “glorified,” while we believers are still waiting to “put on” our “glorified” bodies, Romans 8:18-23, 2 Corinthians 5:1-5; Philippians 3:20-21.

I am laboring this truth to emphasize to God’s people that “…this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven,” Acts 1:11. After His resurrection, didn’t He still have the scars in His hands and side from being crucified? Read John 20:25-27. Won’t He still bear those same scars when He returns? Read again Zechariah 13:6. Praise God!

As one of the precious old hymns of the saints so aptly says,

“I shall know Him; I shall know Him;

When I see Him, I shall know Him,

by the nail prints in His hands.”

Back to Jerusalem

The Lord, just as Joshua did some 3,400 years ago, will lead the Jews through “the wilderness” on the EAST SIDE of the Dead Sea and back to their beloved homeland. When they arrive at the north end of the Dead Sea, the Lord will then turn due west and lead them across the Jordan river. Some 3,400 years ago when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the Ark of the Covenant stepped into the waters of the Jordan, it parted and the Jewish people passed across the Jordan on dry land. Read the account for yourself in Joshua 3 – 4. I would remind our readers that the Ark of the Covenant was the symbol. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the reality. I highly suspect that when the Lord steps into the Jordan, it will part again just like it did 3,400 years ago and the Jewish people will once more cross over on dry land. Glory to God! Hallelujah! How great is our Savior! Praise the Lord!

The Lord will then lead the Jews from the Jordan westward on towards Jerusalem. This will bring the Lord, King David and the Jews, and their whole company back into Jerusalem directly over the top of the mount of Olives, fulfilling Zechariah 14:1-15 to the letter. Read the whole account for yourself. At that very time…..

Another “remnant” of Jews who did not flee to Petra will be backed up against the mount of Olives fighting for their very lives, about to be overwhelmed and destroyed by the armies of the Antichrist. At that precise time the Lord Jesus Christ will come over the top of the mount of Olives. Can you even adequately visualize the scene? Those embattled Jews will look up and see their promised Messiah coming to save them, and will cry out with a mighty shout, “Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord,” Matthew 23:39. At that exact instant the entire mountain will split wide open, creating a valley and an escape route for those embattled Jews. They will flee through the valley to safety, while the Lord rages into their enemies, trampling them under His feet and filling the Kidron valley with their blood “…even unto the horse bridles…,” Revelation 14:20.

Once Jerusalem has been secured by the Lord and those who are accompanying Him, the Lord will then proceed right on northward through the valleys of Jezreel, Achan [Achor], Jehoshaphat, and Megiddo, slaughtering His enemies all the way until He emerges right out on to the plain of Megiddo. Finally…..

There on the plain of Megiddo the last shot ever fired in battle, the last command of the war mongers, the last scream of the wounded and dying, will for ever fade away as the blessed SILENCE OF PEACE settles over the whole bloody scene.

“And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many peoples: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, NEITHER SHALL THEY LEARN WAR ANY MORE,” Isaiah 2:4; Micah 4:3.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Glory to God! Thank the Lord that HE who is “…the desire of all nations shall come,” Haggai 2:6-7. Praise and glory to our precious Lord!

Forsake their own mercy—i.e., forfeit their own share of the covenant grace. In Psalm 37:28 it is said that Jehovah does not forsake his chasîdim; they, however, by forsaking Jehovah (Himself called Israel’s mercy, Psalm 144:2, margin) and His law (Psalm 89:30) can forfeit their chesed or covenant privilege.
