Understanding Abraham is to understand the Church of Philadelphia
Hebrews 11:8-9 KJV: "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise."

Comparing Abraham to the Church of Philadelphia
First and foremost, we as Abraham were changed with a name change. Spiritually speaking we now know our true IDENTITY in Christ that we are TRUE ISRAEL, JACOB Beloved of God whereby the church of Laodicea, fake Jews, and the Lost are ESAU.
- We both are CALLED OUT from Among Them. Study Genesis 12 KJB. The church of Philadelphia knows this was an "act of God" it wasn't you that came out, but rather you were CALLED, and you remember that exact day, moment.
- We both are HEBREWS - SOUJOURNERS -PILGRIMS - TRAVELERS - STRANGERS in a Strange Land Looking for the Promised Land. Study Genesis 13 KJB. The church of Philadelphia knows this as our blessed Hope of Redemption in the soon coming RAPTURE of the Church.
- We both are IN this World but certainly NOT OF this World. We make mistakes and yet by God's tremendous grace and mercy we not only PREVAIL but are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Jesus Christ our Lord. Study Genesis 12 and 16 KJB.
* "We both are": This phrase, I will be using below is used to emphasize that both individuals share a common characteristic or state.
- We both are called to sacrifice all for our Lord Jesus Christ. Read Genesis 22. The offering of Issac. LET GO of the things and persons in this world, including our loved one and that which belongs to God will be returned.
- We both are espoused to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2 KJB and none other. We are His and He is ours. When Abraham met Jesus Christ at least 8 times throughout Genesis. At least twice in person: 1. Melchizedek Genesis 14, Hebrews 7 KJB, 2. At Mamre Genesis 18.
- Communion is essential in our daily lives
1. The Call of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3)
Description: God called Abraham to leave his country, kindred, and father's house to go to a land that He would show him. God promised to make Abraham a great nation.
- 2. MELCHIZEDEK Genesis 14:18-20 KJV:
"18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
- 3. The Covenant with Abram (Genesis 15)
Description: God made a covenant with Abram, promising him numerous descendants and the land of Canaan. This was marked by a vision where God spoke to him and made the covenant through a symbolic act.
- 4 . The Sign of the Covenant (Genesis 17)
Description: God appeared to Abraham when he was 99 years old to reaffirm the covenant, changing his name from Abram to Abraham and instituting circumcision as a sign of the covenant.
- 5. The Visit of the Three Men (Genesis 18)
Description: Three men, one of whom is often interpreted as a divine manifestation (possibly the preincarnate Christ), visited Abraham. They foretold the birth of Isaac and discussed the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah.
- 6. Intercession for Sodom (Genesis 18:22-33)
Description: Abraham interceded with God on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah, negotiating with God to spare the cities if righteous people could be found there.
- 7 Hagar and Ishmael (Genesis 21:12-13)
Description: God spoke to Abraham about the future of Hagar and Ishmael, reassuring him about Ishmael's future.
- 8. The Sacrifice of Isaac (Genesis 22:1-18)
- We both have a little strength left when called. MY STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS...
Description: God tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son Isaac. THE Angel of the Lord (interpreted as Jesus Christ) intervened, preventing the sacrifice and reaffirming the covenant promises.
See The Church of Philadelphia Revelation 3:8.
Let's talk seriously about Revelation 3:7-12 KJB
Abraham 75, beyond his prime BELIEVED and it was counted unto him as RIGHTEOUS. Genesis 15:6 KJV: "And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness."
- We both are espoused to Sarah in a spiritual sense. Our brethren as Jacob seeing him who is unseen and knowing him most personally. Spiritually speaking in light of Galatians 2:20 KJB Sarah's burial - death to self as we are one with her - joining in that cave, is expensive, but we bear no cost, and we are carried to the PROMISED LAND.
The outcasts like us.
are like Sarah a NON-JEW see Jerusalem as our Mother Abraham and Rahab and Ruth the Moabite.
Abraham: He married Sarah, who was not Jewish by birth, as she was from the Canaanite people. Later, he married Keturah, who is often identified as Hagar, his former wife.
Jacob: He married Leah and Rachel, who were sisters and not Jewish by birth, as they were from the family of Laban, a Canaanite.
Isaac: He married Rebekah, who was not Jewish by birth, as she was from the Aramean people.
Joseph: He married Asenath, who was not Jewish by birth, as she was the daughter of an Egyptian priest.
Moses: He married Zipporah, who was not Jewish by birth, as she was a Midianite woman.
- And in conclusion, as Abraham we both are a light in the dark world the "RELIGIONS" of this world lay claim to Abraham. Some will come out some will not. Do not forget the Jewish Remnant and the decedents of Ismael who will find the true Messiah Jesus Christ.
