The Absolute Truth Link
In accordance with 1 Timothy 5:20 by the absolute AUTHORITY of the Word of God as given in The King James Version specifically Titus 1:11,13, 2:15, 2 Timothy 4:2-4. Jude 1:11
The following exposes the false teaching of Stones Crossing Church.
I’ve studied 2 separate sermon messages to make these remarks.
To begin with the first video, Scott Luck, the leader of this brick and mortar 501c3 organization calling himself a pastor, is using an English Standard Version ESV Bible Translation. The complete apostasy and danger of using perverted Bibles can not be overstated. Notes (1) and (4). End Notes below:
Stones Crossing church sermon: Transformation from the Deeper and Wider Series
November 11,2018, By Scott Luck https://vimeo.com/channels/sccvideos/300180937
General Overview: This sermon is the perfect example of my case study of the MEGA TRAP Church Trap Note (5). In that we’re: 1. truthfully told we are in great need of something important. 2. Truthfully told the precise destination. 3. Lied to about the way to get there by the craft of Manna and Leaven, note (7). Example: You are hemmoraging out badly. You really need to get to the emergency room now. You need to take a 1 hour walk with me to get there. Don’t bother with the ambulance and medical staff waiting for you outside.
The specifics are: We need to be saved from eternal damnation and a life of sin and both spiritual death and misery. To get there we need salvation through and only by Jesus Christ. To accomplish this we have grace as a gift but we need to do this check off list and stay connected (and pay your tithes) in our Brick and Mortar Program we call a d-group, which are really an accountability group that is found nowhere in scripture, but in all cult programs. We here at Stones Crossing are “The Church” but the church is the body of Christ and we the building are that body and we have a program you need to get right and stay right in our groups. Although this is found nowhere in scripture. These groups are our to check on your discipleship, a program never used in the Epistles, and to make sure you’re in the cult worship of our hive BITE Cult system. Why? So you can pay us and continue to pay us while we “make merchandise of you”. Please see “You don’t have to pay tithes church”. Note (9)
Please see documentation of these allegations in notes (1) through (7).
Scott is telling us the organization of Stones crossing is your actual guide to knowing and being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. .
This may seem harsh, unfair or judgmental. Perhaps the reader may think I was watching a different sermon than they watched. But if you’ll listen carefully to the details you may find some surprises.
Beginning at time 8:00 while reading out of 2 Corinthians 3:12-18, Scott Luck begins a string of lies. The evil of his lie goes to the depths of salvation and the gift of salvation. By craft Scott teaches Lordship salvation by works and the efforts of his organization making things happen for God. He says that the “vail” spoken of here in 2 Corinthians 3 is SIN. No it is not! The vail is hiding the salvation plan of different dispensations. The concealment of the old and passing covenant to the new eternal covenant. It has nothing whatsoever to do with sin but rather the the passing from The Law to the age of Grace. In essence, a change in rules to secure salvation from works to grace otherwise known as salvation plans of works and grace.
It is almost as if he either subconsciously knows the vail and scripture discussed in 2 Corinthians chapter 3 is dealing with the salvation plan, but he clearly has his audience focused on the word sin. Vail = Sin. And then he tells us to look at 2 Corinthians 3:18 and study it with him. He reads the ESV as follows:
2 Corinthians 3:18 English Standard Version (ESV)
18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,[a] are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.[b] For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. At 12:00 Scott says the verb transformed is in the present active tense which I believe Scott is trying to say the verb formation here is a “continuous aspect” of the present indicative tense. Meaning: This is an ongoing active process happening in a continuous state of being… Scott is lying to us. And what’s incredibly ironic is he exposes himself in his lie by using the following scripture later in his sermon as Romans 8:29. He also unwittingly perhaps exposes the preposterous audacity of the ESV when compared to the KJV Bible. Let’s examine the aspects of Scott’s lie:
This activity of moving from the law into grace is not an active continuous state of being transcending for us in the church age today and especially in our lives as Christians. What’s worse, if you believe Scott, then you believe that your sin condition is in a constant state of being removed or corrected by the Holy Spirit. He either by design or ignorance confuses salvation and sinning. But since he never makes it clear and by the continual context of salvation, we must conclude he by design wants the listener to be thinking eternal security depends works and Scott’s program as the cure.
However, The Bible clearly tells us this activity of standing as justified before God, including our sinful nature, past, present, and future sin has been eradicated, completed at the cross the moment we were saved. How can a Christian argue with these scriptures: Romans 3:23-25; Colossians 2:13-15, Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; Philippians 1:6. Also see link in note (8). But Scott cleverly either by design or ignorance or both has the listener thinking that sanctification - cleaning up sin - is linked with works in salvation, and is as an ongoing process to secure through his church program. If approached he will undoubtedly deny this, but him using the scriptures and in the context of his sermon with these scriptures as his backdrop proves otherwise.
Scott surely knows from experience that 96.5% of his listeners don’t ask questions or read the Bible for themselves. Or IF they do read the Bible they're reading from a perverted Bible translation like the ESV. note: most if not all modern day churches today use various modern translations and teach that the KJV Bible is too difficult to understand or has errors. Please see NOTE 4 below on why Bible translations are so important. (Percentages based on the empirical study of taking the Matthew 13 Parables and applying the math see note (6)) But If we are to be good Bible students and Bereans, we know that the rule of scripture must match with scripture. Then how would being made into the image of Jesus Christ be an ongoing process if we are told in Romans 8:29 in the ESV that this process has taken place, NOT IS taking place??? Romans 8:29 English Standard Version (ESV) 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
By using a corrupt Bible translation Scott sets himself up for hypocrisy and worse, a false gospel. (False Gospel in accordance with Galatians 1:8,9 KJV) .
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
We also see the King James does not contradict itself like the ESV. Here's
Romans 8:29 King James Version (KJV)
If we truly ask ourselves this question, I think we could agree not to attend Scott’s Brick and Mortar 501C3. Question: Why is Scott telling us that to be in the image of Jesus Christ, we must go through the process of sanctification cleaning up sins and thereby go to his church to make this happen? But when we study the word of God like he tells us, we find his program is a lie : Scott clearly says this by his double talk. At time 24:56 Scott truthfully tells us that the Holy Spirit is working in us as our “Executive Producer” to work out the sanctification process, key word process to work out in the flesh that which has already been accomplished in the spirit. But Scott does not make this clear. He leads the listener believe that The Holy Spirit is working on what has already happened to us spiritually.
And then after inculcating this process he throws in the Leaven by telling us the lie at 27:48, quote: “we must put ourselves in the position (spiritual growth, sanctification to be more like Jesus Christ and in his image (salvation heavily connected and implied through misuse of 2 Corinthians 3:18)) we must be in “this” community (Stones Crossing Church aka “Stones’) of faith, we worship together, we pray together in fellowship and grow together.” End Quote.
Here we clearly see Scott adds on works and out of the other side of his mouth is throwing the grace word around. He has not mentioned Philippians 2:12-13, so we know he’s wanting his listeners to follow the work requirement being necessary to secure salvation and certainly to work out the sanctification process of being in the image of Christ as if we can do this through church membership in the disciples d-group.
At time 29:30 he confuses Godhead by saying God the Son (Trinity) which is a pagan concept of 3 separate gods. This confuses the true follower of Jesus instead of what the scripture clearly teaches us that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the image of the invisible God of the godhead. Colossians 1:15.
At time 32:00 and continuing through 34:00 Scott takes off the gloves and beats his listeners into submission by his hard, heavy handed tactic of churl, “get into a group” "get signed up" " get in" and make yourself become a part of our system. (so we can make merchandise of you.)
Tragically Scott ends up his false teaching by telling the truth about the word of God is our only source for truth. Amen! But. what he fails to mention is his ESV false Vatican Bible is so far from reality that it is pure apostasy. (Please read note 4 link on why Bible translations are so important… Example: The corrupt versions deny the divinity of Jesus and compare Satan to Jesus as one of many examples)...
The next sermon I listened to was by the Disciple minister Chris McLaughlin as follows:
Salvation Elation by Chris McLaughlin November 25,: 2018
Chris actually made me more spiritually stirred by righteous indignation than Scott’s heresy for the following reason:
Although Chris is a very eloquent, happy faced, charismatic young man and opens up his Happy Time, let's hug right now. getting ready for the Christmas holidays. He is really a ravenous wolf. In his smiling happy demeanor, he has added serious amounts of leaven to the truth. He first begins by reading from Psalms 32. And as expected is soon setting up the exact paradigm used by Scott above, eg: you need help, there’s a bad SIN problem you have to deal with. Here’s the solution and now I’m going to lie and tell you how you get there.
But very soon an immediate alarm goes off when Chris tells us that the word Blessed actually means to have JOY… Be Happy… What? No it doesn’t. This is a lie. The word Blessed, and especially as used in Psalms 32 means “To Be Made sacred, Holy by BLOOD, The Blood of (Jesus Christ) to be consecrated by a sacrifice to be set apart and considered sacred to God. See the Exodus 12:23 (blood on the doorposts in the Exodus) . I don’t know if he’s intentionally picked Psalms 32, but Psalms 32 is a direct connection to the essence of our salvation in our redeemer.
And then the unthinkable happens: Chris tells us at time 9:00 that we need to be very aware of our sinful condition to expose it. And move away from a “feeling of entitlement” regarding our salvation. That we should not think of our salvation is an entitlement. He reiterates this statement again at the end of his sermon, making this issue of paramount importance .
What? Chris is telling me that my salvation is not an entitlement. That I am by his insinuation in error and sin by feeling as my salvation is an entitlement. What is happening here is Lordship Salvation, Works Based Salvation and worse that my eternal security is by no means a gift but rather something to be worked out.
First here’s what entitlement means:
Entitlement: Oxford Dictionary: A title; decree to bestow upon; to give a person a rightful claim; to furnish, give; a designation given to; to assign the possession of something to someone designated; to regard someone having possession of something bestowed upon; to impute something to; lay claim to; qualified: To assign as due or owing to; TO ASCRIBE RIGHTEOUSNESS TO A PERSON BY VICARIOUS SUBSTITUTION Romans Chapter 6… (yes the Oxford complete dictionary uses the reference of Romans chapter 6… I will use the entire chapter of Romans 6 here:
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Entitlement is all about Romans chapter 4:3,4: Imputed Righteousness of Jesus Christ. It is our absolute entitlement. Praise God! Hallelujah! Rejoice! That’s what I will rejoice in. Not that God is going to forgive my sins but that he sees me as righteous and I did not have to do anything to gain this favor at the cross. See notes (10)m (11), (12)...
Does Chris understand that he’s telling his flock that their salvation is not to be considered an entitlement as defined above as imputed to us by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, but rather a system and steps he begins to lay out as follows?
From time 9:00 to 22:00, a solid 13 minutes plus, Chris pounds into the listener’s mind the sin and the need for confession of sin. This is truth given here and he actually does a decent job of painting in the backdrop of David and the Psalms regarding the type and picture of a contrite heart before the Lord. Truth of our sinful condition in need of a Savior, but what if I’m saved. My sin was paid for on calvary. Then here I am confused by Chris’ message because it seems he’s trying to mix salvation the message of redemption in with sanctification and sinning after I’m saved. Nevertheless, I get through this part.
Here at time 24:00 the wheels fall off. Here openly Chris is now telling me that I as a Christian am guilty before God. This is an outrageous lie, bringing the finished work of the cross to open shame… Maybe Chris is talking to the unsaved, unregenerate members of his 501C3 church building... (They have to be in a church organization, because unsaved people are not, can NOT BE the body of Christ. If Chris is talking to the actual body of Christ then he is a heretic because the members of the church are blood bought and regenerated and stand before God as righteous. That’s what the word of God tells me clearly. Look at Romans 4:3, 4:4 King James Version (KJV)
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt
Ephesians 2:5-9 King James Version: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
. And then at 27:30 Chris is now in full blown heresy as he boldly proclaims that: “My revealed sin leads me to confess to repentance to experience this grace.” This is outright Lordship Salvation. He is telling us that in order to be saved, implied, or saved from sinful nature, or from sins we commit (not really clear), but when we go by his earlier statement that I sinner cannot be right before God, and we must by our human will and volition repent and confess. I find serious discrepancy with what Chris teaches and what the scriptures say. Where does the scripture tell me this process that Chris speaks of? No where. Read Romans 4:3,4; Ephesians 2:5-9. See notes (10), (11) and (12).
How can I redeem myself? Chris tells me at 31:12 that Judgement is coming (he mixes and confuses the Catching away of the Church with the 2nd Advent and the BEMA Judgment with the Great White Throne Judgement at the end of the Millennium. I don’t know if he wants to keep his audience drinking milk formula or if he really doesn’t know himself.
Here’s my solution. Chris tells us that to escape Judgement we must repent and trust. Here again is blatant no scripture supported Lordship Salvation of works based salvation. To escape the Great White Throne Judgement I must be saved. Simply repenting and trusting and attending an accountability group will not save me.
And the knock out punch here is at time 32:00 Chris tells us that if we get into an accountability group he calls the “d’group” we can be in a safe place a trusted place to be held accountable and be okay (Insinuating that if we are in his 501C3 building program we can be safe and secure from the wrath of God to come. Seems like the Cross was left out that the blood atonement and the finished work of the cross was completely left out of the equation....
An accountability group is a Marxist based Tyrannical form of control, a set up for the Antichrist Beast system compliance. I lived in a Communist country for over 6 years. This is the ground work.
Then to close out before prayer Chris sprinkles in the truth pointing to Jesus, but the listener has been left with the indelibly printed idea I GOTTA BE IN YOUR PROGRAM TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD… Damnable Heresy...
I rebuke your teaching Chris… Repent!!! God does not even see the sinner. He only sees the son,the blood of the unblemished lamb of God. We can't stand before righteousness unless we are covered by the Blood of the lamb which is given to us freely as a gift IMPUTED to us as an ENTITLEMENT…

PROBLEMS WITH THE STONES CROSSING CHURCH WEBSITE:
Stones Crossing is a Kingdom Now, Dominion Theology as proclaimed in their mission statement:
“Our goal is to be a church known for ushering in God’s kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.”
It is not the mission of the body of Christ to establish God’s kingdom on earth but rather Jesus Christ himself will accomplish this at the Second Advent. Revelation 19 refers. For a detailed study on this subject please see “The Coming Kingdom” by Dr. Andy Woods. *disclaimer: other than solid teaching on the Kingdom, Dr. Woods uses the NASB bible translation and has problems with his study on Luke 17.
What is Discipleship? Taken from Stones Crossing Website
Discipleship is the central part of what it means to Be The Church. If we aren't making disciples, we are completely missing the mark of our calling. D-Groups exist to make sure we are committed to and focused on making disciples and equipping our church to be the hands and feet of Jesus by growing in our understanding of our Savior, ourselves, each other, and the world around us all from a Gospel-centered perspective.
Discipleship according the the Bible: In the dispensation of the
Gospel of the Kingdom as proclaimed by John the Baptist and presented by Jesus Christ, the discipleship was given during that dispensation but not during the age of Grace also known as the Church Age. For a thorough study on Dispensationalism please see Dr. Gene Kim. LINK
Disciple is no longer used in the Epistles:
