Let's Talk about the Deception of The Church of the Holy Sepulchre

 



The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is the focal point of the Christian Quarter in Jerusalem's Old City, the Church was built in the fourth century A.D. by Emperor Constantine and is the supposed location that witnessed the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For 1,700 years Christian pilgrims have visited this site.

There are certainly unseen "mystical" forces at work to watch fire spreading to the many torches within the Rotunda around the Edicule of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.  Notwithstanding "magical" or "miraculous" or "man made" reasons, the entire episode is shameful.  God has a sense of humor for sure. The definition of sepulchre is a grave which means the empty tomb where Christ may or may not have been buried.  To worship here by making strange fire proves these pathetic people are worshipping where the angels said to the women, "Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen:" Luke 24:5,6 KJV. And why would you worship at the grave with the knowledge of Jesus Christ himself saying: "Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."  Revelation 1:17,18 KJV. And what Jesus Christ spoke to the 6 churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, and Laodiceans. Revelation 2 and 3 KJV. 

The ultimate form of idolatry is calling brick and mortar holy and actually performing worship at this location which may or may not be the actual location of the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Today's church buildings are no different. People may believe they're in a "building" called a church to worship God, but in reality they believe and are taught that they are in a "special" place where they can talk to and worship God.  The Church is NOT a building. The church is the body of Christ, the living, breathing moving flesh and blood bodies of the Saints who have within themselves the priceless treasure of God almighty himself as manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ and as given to us by the Holy Spirit in this dispensation of time.   Please read about Church Buildings and Why I don't participate in "going to a church building".
