I was studying 1 Corinthians Chapter 3 verses 13 - 15 for verification of the BEMA Judgment in order to answer a question from one of my YouTube subscribers.
While in the midst of this study, the Lord brought me into a deep study of 1 Corinthians Chapter 3, verses 9 through 17, culminating with verse 23. I was not looking for references for the Bride of Christ being the Church, however the Lord wanted me to emphasize this and share this.
Allow me to go over the 3 parts:
We co labor with Jesus Christ. Now and for eternity.
We are married to Christ in writing, legally and forever.
Our bodies are His Temple. Now and forever. Note: Allow the Holy Spirit to clean those vices and habits that hold you back Christian.
Last month I addressed the biblical facts that the Church is in the book of Revelation and involved in Prophecy, that the Church is the BRIDE of Christ, that we will reign with Christ as PRIESTS and KINGS after the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and our return with Christ at His Second Coming to earth in the Battle of Armageddon. False teachers caught in the spirit of the antichrist - the spirit of Jezebel are trying to keep the church out of this and teaching on the contrary.

Revelation is the PROPHECY of Jesus Christ Revelation 1:9 King James Bible regarding humanity in the end of this age and into eternity. The centerpiece being His Church - His Body - His Bride saved from the wrath of the Tribulation. This relationship culminates in the end of this realm at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Revelation 19:4,7-9 King James Bible. Joining the Church will be the Remnant of Jews Israel, the true Israel along with the other Tribulation Saints.
We are ALL Israel as we see at the end of this age the promises of Abraham are ours - the Church. Abraham is our father . Jerusalem is the mother of us all. There is in Christ neither Jew or Gentile, bond nor free, male or female but we are all ONE in Christ. See a detailed study in notes below titled Abraham’s Promise is our Promise.
When the word “Israel” is used in the end time we know that God’s wife is Israel and Christ Jesus fulfilled this by bringing in the Gentiles who would become His also. The Hyper-Dispensationalists are Hell Bent on removing the Promise of Prophecy from the Church to both steal our blessed hope of being Kings and Priests unto God and to steal our inheritance of ruling with Christ. Matthew 10:16, Colossians 2:19, Revelation 1:6, 3:11, 5:10, 12:5, 20:6, 1 Corinthians 6:1-3, 2 Timothy 2:12. King James Bible.

Here are the significant areas I want to break down in this study:
We CO-LABOR with and BELONG to Jesus Christ as he belongs to the Godhead see verse 9 and 23 of 1 Corinthians chapter 3. Harmonize this with Ephesians 2:6, Colossians 1:14 and 2:9. King James Bible.
We are His Husbandry:
We are His Bride - The Wife as being grafted in the SEED of Abraham. Galatians 3:7,16, 29. King James Bible.

Modern English definition of husbandry means to manage a household. However the context of the King James Bible knowing the etymology of the word comes from Husband with the “ary” suffix from Middle English to Early Modern English of the 1611 translation brings the full meaning of the word from the 14th century pertaining to the “husband of the household”. The suffix “ary” means: the condition of, connected to, pertaining to. Also according to the Oxford English dictionary on page 1353 the context of husbandry means the administration and management of a household - family directly related to the husband.
We know that this could not mean the relationship of a “father” to his children. It is strictly related to HUSBAND - WIFE in a family.
We are His Building:
In the context of 1 Corinthians Chapter 3, this means our physical body in this realm is literally where the Holy Spirit = The Spirit of God which is the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9 King James Bible) - resides, lives, dwells. And we dwell in Christ in the third heaven see Ephesians 2:6 King James Bible.
Know that our lives must be separate and set aside for him. We are not only His residence but HIS TEMPLE. Notes:
Abraham Promise is the Church
God promised Abraham: “Unto thy seed I will give this land.” Genesis 12:7 This is referring to Issac and the descendants of Issac. This is reiterated in several verses to wit Genesis 13:14,15, 15:18 and Joshua 1:4.
Then God promised Abraham that his seed will be as the stars - unable to number them. Genesis 15:5. Therefore seed here also refers to a countless number of people - as the stars. We see something amazing happen here in Genesis 15 giving us the PERFECT PICTURE OF GRACE THROUGH FAITH and NOT of WORKS which is the Basic tenant of the Gospel given in the Dispensation of Grace. If you read Genesis 15 carefully after he has met face to face with Jesus Christ who no doubt is Melchizedek, (KING PRIEST We reign with him/ in him / as Kings and Priests read Revelation 5:10, Revelation 12:5 and Revelation 20:6. )
it breaks down into 3 major areas: 1 Abraham hears again in a vision that he is blessed. Mind you, Abraham has been told repeatedly by God that he would have a child (seed) that would multiply in vast numbers. So immediately Abraham starts to complain - reminding God that he has no children of his own *save his servant* to receive the inheritance. It is here that God again promises that Abraham’s true heir will be the seed promised. Part 2: Abraham believes this FAITH what God has promised and it is here we see by FAITH ALONE that Abraham is justified and counted unto him for RIGHTEOUSNESS. Read Romans 4:2-3. We here again see the perfect foreshadow of justification by Faith alone which is the PROMISE OF ABRAHAM that becomes fully developed in Chapter 15:12 -18. Part 3: Abraham is told to prepare a sacrifice of a heifer, she goat, ram and a turtle dove and young pigeon.
Abraham is commanded to chop up the heifer, goat and ram but not the birds. *a very interesting study on this that has to do with the birds trying to come down and eat the sacrifice that is spread out in the path. The birds represent the enemy wanting to destroy the covenant - agreement - arrangement THE VOWS. This is another perfect type and shadow of the wedding vows God made with Israel on Mount Sinai.
Read what I AM that I AM tells Moses in Exodus 19, specifically verses 5-6. Read verse 6 and compare to verse 6 of Revelation 20:6: No serious Bible student can argue against Revelation 20:6 is THE CHURCH. They would have to discard Revelation 1:6, 2:5, 5:10, 12:5, 2 Timothy 2:12.
If one truly believes we are IN CHRIST which we are then the order of Melchizideck PRIEST and KING should not be a problem for Revelation 5:10.
What is this vow, agreement? In ancient times whenever a “major vow was made” the participants would chop up an animal and walk in the midst. This meant literally that IF any party broke the VOW they would also be hacked up like the sacrifice. Study this. It is fascinating. BUT what is beyond amazing here is THIS VOW CONTRACT IS UNILATERAL. Meaning that God makes it without Abraham having to do anything whatsoever. LOOK ABRAHAM IS IN A DEEP SLEEP. This is the MOST PERFECT picture of GRACE. What is GRACE? UNMERITED FAVOR. WE ARE JUSTIFIED AND SANCTIFIED BY GOD AND WE DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO DESERVE THIS… THIS is the power of GRACE. This is PROMISE that the Messiah would bring. This is the PROMISE OF ABRAHAM Given to the GENTILES which brings us to Galatians Chapter 3. Galatians is the BOOK OF GRACE. But before we get to Galatians we see:
Genesis 22:18 The blessing of multiplying Abraham’s seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore.” is reiterated. “In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.” Gives us a hint of the Messiah. It is not until we read Galatians 3:16 “seed.” Now Paul tells us that the SEED (singular) of Abraham is Jesus Christ. That in Christ all the nations are blessed.
A side note: We find a powerful allegory based on a shocking event of Genesis 16. Sarah and Abraham lose faith and Sarah being beguiled convinces Abraham to impregnate the Egyptian servant girl, Hagar. Abraham being stupid of course blindly follows her advice and then when Ismmael is born, Sarah realizes her mistake and then orders the poor girl and the child out of the house. Later we see Paul go into detail of how this tragedy became the allegory of the CHILD OF THE FLESH *Ishmael* representing the law and bondage compared to the CHILD OF PROMISE representing GRACE . This is another perfect of the spirit of Promise.
It is here the Hyper-Dispensationalist fall off the proverbial cliff. GALATIANS CHAPTER 4 THE TWO SYSTEMS LAW AND GRACE CAN NOT EXIST BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST FULFILLED THE LAW AND IN THIS WE STAND IN GRACE.

“Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,”

Galatians 3:14 is the key to understanding that the Gentiles receive the blessing of Abraham through Jesus Christ is “receiving the PROMISE of the Spirit through faith.” The PROMISE of the Spirit here is both contextually and by comparing other scriptures is clearly JESUS CHRIST - The Messiah.

It all becomes very clear in Galatians - GRACE.
Now that we understand that the Promise is the Messiah Paul continues to explain that the promise for the Gentiles is that the believers in Christ are “members” of Christ and are included in the SEED. This happens in the exact manner of Abraham simply believing. We find the full culmination - consummation of the SEED of Abraham at the and the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:2 which follows the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Revelation 19:4 24 elders representing the church Revelation 19:7,8.
7: Scripture summary: Romans 4:16, Galatians 4:20; Galatians 3:14, 1 Cor. 15:45,46; 2 Cor. 3:17; Gal. 3:14, 29; Acts 26:18; Eph. 1:14 refer to the Promise of Abraham given to the Gentiles THROUGH JESUS CHRIST as the MESSIAH which is SPIRITUAL the PROMISE and NOT of the flesh - the LAW.
Are they Also Those who are of Abraham's seed, the Bride?

Galatians Chapter 6 verse15 and 16:
5 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
By the “Israel of God” is here meant the “spiritual Israel;” not converts from Judaism alone, but all who prove their real affinity to Abraham by a faith like Abraham’s. (Comp. Galatians 3:7-9; Galatians 3:14; Galatians 3:29; Romans 4:11-12; Romans 9:6-8.)

The SEED
The Promises were made to THY SEED which is Christ.
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Colossians 1:27-28 KJV
to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 3:14,15
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.
False teachers, the blind guides who beguile the feeble minded Christians try to use Ephesians 3:14,15 and Ephesians 1:10 in an attempt to show that the Church is spiritual and stays in heaven and Israel - Jews stay on earth.
This “theory” is not biblically sound however since we are unable to harmonize Revelation 20:6; 12:5, 19:14, 21:1,2;10-25. These scriptures all prove the Saints are coming down from Heaven and reigning with Christ on Earth.

Additionally, ruling the nations with a rod of iron is Jesus And the church - the saints. This would be impossible to do from heaven. Revelation 12:5.
Note: These scriptures prove that Saints can be angels in or Church Saints depending on the context:
Zechariah 14:5 and Matthew 25:31.
We also have ample commentary to also support the reference to Ephesians 3:14,15 and 1:10 FAMILY IN HEAVEN, ALL THINGS WHICH ARE IN HEAVEN to mean Angels. We know the Angels accompany the Saints returning with Jesus in the 2nd Advent. So it is also clear the Angels are included in ALL. Here’s commentary worth noting:
Every family, in heaven and on earth.”
1. “I bow my knees unto the Father, from whom [not the whole family, but] every family in heaven and on earth is named.” The point of St. Paul’s original phrase is somewhat lost in translation. The Greek word for family (patria) is based on that for father (pater). A distinguished father anciently gave his name to his descendants; and this paternal name became the bond of family or tribal union, and the title which ennobled the race. So we have “the sons of Israel,” the “sons of Aaron” or “of Korah”; and in Greek history, the Atridae, the Alcaemonidae, who form a family of many kindred households—a clan, or gens, designated by their ancestral head. Thus Joseph (in Luke 2:4) is described as being “of the house and family [patria] of David”; and Jesus is “the Son of David.” Now Scripture speaks also of sons of God, and these of two chief orders. There are those “in heaven,” who form a race distinct from ourselves in origin—divided, it may be, amongst themselves into various orders and dwelling in their several homes in the heavenly places, and there are those “on earth.”
The various classes of men on earth, Jewish and Gentile, and the various orders of angels in heaven, are all related to God, the common Father, and only in virtue of that relation has any of them the name of family. The father makes the family; God is the Father of all; and if any community of intelligent beings, human or angelic, bears the great name of family, the reason for that lies in this relation of God to it. The significant name has its origin in the spiritual relationship.
