Reading, slowly reading and absorbing Tim Shey's wonderful work titled, "High Plains Drifter", an amazing story of a man who heard his master's call and began hitchhiking across America, I ran across this passage:" In March 1998, the Lord told me that I would be heading east towards New York. I believe it was April 8th when I hit the road. It took me ten days to get to New Hamburg, New York. I walked to the train station and met this older man on the platform. We got on the train heading south towards Manhattan and we had the best talk. He told me that Jesus never did anything unless he saw His Father in it. “My Father works and I work.” He also said that when you are really led and are submitted to the Holy Ghost, that most Christians would reject you. I told him that that has been happening in my life for years." (High Plains Drifter, Tim Shey, page 85)Oh Lord, let me walk in this truth... Let me never do anything unless I see my Heavenly Father in it. Thank you Tim Shey for your obedience to our Lord and Savior call on your life. And thank you for blessing me by your beautifully Spirit filled, inspired book which I'm still reading slowly, ever so slowly to let each experience seep deep into my understanding. My most painful moments in my walk with my Lord have been at the hands of "Christians. And now I know why...Those who are religious are carnal and can not see God and therefore hate the things of the spirit. "Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him: for he dwelleth with yoiu and shall be IN you. (John 14:17) God is a Spirit: and they that worship (know him, see him, "The absolute acknowledgment of all that lies beyond us—the glory that fills heaven and earth. It is the response that conscious beings make to their Creator) him MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH. (John 4:24)My Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, In the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, I ask by the power of the Holy Spirit i would know and understand that I do NOT undertake any project of any kind unless I can see you in it. And therefore open the eyes of my understanding... And this is in and by and through Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior, Amen!
