Brother Jon Lutz was recently listening to a pastor in read the following scripture from the CSB quoting making outrageous claims of what the Bible states which when compared with the King James Bible is beyond disgusting and makes a true child of God vomit.

Let’s take a deeper look at other critical errors of the CSB:

Comparing the standard  KJB  1769 with the CSB

King James                                                                CSB

JOHN 3:16  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ”

JOHN 3:16 For God loved the world in this way:[ a] He gave[ b] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

ROMANS 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

ROMANS 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus,[a]

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of  God who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body,[ a] I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Notes:

John 3:16  Only Begotten Son vs Only Son is critical because God has many “only sons”

  • John 1:12 KJV: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name

ONLY begotten which literally means Who is God.

Romans 8:1

The CSB completely leaves out the key phrase - the subordinate or dependent clause which literally brings the meaning to this verse:

, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Without this clause Romans 8:1 means that anyone who says they believe Jesus (even the devil knows Jesus is real) are without condemnation.  Also KEY is the , for those vs to them which are IN is significantly different:

For = preposition meaning in context ON the Behalf of

Those = pronoun used both in the nominative or accusative plural in a collateral form of THESE now used as the plural of that. See these vs them.

‘Them’ and ‘those’ are both pronouns in English language, but they have different meanings and usages. ‘Them’ is a third-person plural pronoun used to refer to a group of people, animals, or things that have already been mentioned or are clearly understood from context. It is used as an object pronoun following a verb or preposition. On the other hand, ‘those’ is a demonstrative pronoun used to identify specific items or people that are distant from the speaker, both in physical distance or metaphorically in time. It distinguishes itself by modifying nouns and indicating specific items among a larger group, often paired with a gesture or an indicator of position or time for clarification. While ‘them’ is invariant, meaning it does not change form, ‘those’ is the plural form of ‘that’ and changes based on number; ‘that’ for singular and ‘those’ for plural. In summary, ‘them’ is the object pronoun used for referring to previously identified entities, while ‘those’ is a demonstrative pronoun that points out specific entities among others, emphasizing distance or distinction 12.

These vs Them

These’ and ‘them’ are both pronouns in English language, but they have different meanings and usages. ‘These’ is a demonstrative pronoun used to identify specific items or people that are close to the speaker, both in physical distance or metaphorically in time. It distinguishes itself by modifying nouns and indicating specific items among a larger group, often paired with a gesture or an indicator of position or time for clarification. On the other hand, ‘them’ is a third-person plural pronoun used to refer to a group of people, animals, or things that have already been mentioned or are clearly understood from context.

IN OTHER WORDS  The King James Bible is clearly in a personal way indicating that ONLY SPECIFICALLY THOSE WHO ARE IN JESUS CHRIST AS WALKING IN THE SPIRIT AND NOT AFTER THE FLESH.  WHEREAS the CSB MAKES AN IMPERSONAL DISTANT REFERRAL TO ANYONE OUT THERE WHO BASICALLY SAYS THEY KNOW WHO JESUS IS.

Galatians 2:20  This a complex mess with the CSB Bible compared to the KJV.

Begin with the “major” difference between KJV: “I AM” and the CSB “HAVE BEEN.”

“Am” = used with first person singular present pronoun “I” means to exist at the present.  Exist

To be etymology = be (v.)

Old English beon, beom, bion "be, exist, come to be, become, happen,

“Have been” is the present perfect tense meaning something happened sometime in the past and may or may NOT be in the present.  The present is in question.

Nevertheless I live  vs  I no longer live  .  Even a third grade grammar school child can see a major difference here and explain this marked difference in meaning with the simple aid of a dictionary.

Nevertheless means

nevertheless (adv.)

"notwithstanding," early 14c., neuer Ăľe lesse; as one word from mid-14c., neuerĂľeles. The sense of never here is "not at all;

yet (adv.)

Old English get, gieta "till now, thus far, earlier, at last,

KJV In context: Not that I live, at all, at last not I, but Christ liveth in me.

CSB In context:   I’m dead, but Christ lives in me.

The KJV is the truth because we know that the living are not dead, but rather the saved person does not live in their own carnal flesh ruling their lives but rather Jesus Christ Lives within them spiritually and is the author and finisher of their faith.  It is without doubt the final phrase: that is the most powerful that proves the CSB such a false lying fraud.

The difference of the preposition “OF” (KJB) vs  “IN” (CSB).

The King James Bible tells us that is The faith OF Jesus meaning Jesus Christ’s faith that does all of this and it is not OUR faith because we are incapable of this work of perfection.

The CSB Faith IN makes it WORK so that we must produce our own faith to make this happen.

Difference between liveth  (suffix eth) versus  lives.

To the unlearned observer the King James use of the seemingly archaic suffixes eth and est simply mean the third person conjugation in modern English. However, in an in depth study we find that suffixes were used in middle to early modern English to signify the superlative of the verb use.  To study the superlative nature of a verb please study this link.

  1. I've read your messages about Godhead and I think you're right, I prayed about that before and it all makes sense, fullness of Godhead boidly so in Lord Jesus Christ (body) dwells Father (soul) and Holy Spirit (Spirit), not Trinity, brother do you believe that people who has right Gospel but believe in Trinity are saved? I believe they're because as long as you believe the right Gospel and that Lord Jesus Christ is God whether it's oneness, Trinity or Biblical Godhead then you're saved.
Praise Lord for you Bible study

    1. Thank you very much for your comment. Praise God. Truly only God knows the heart of someone who claims to be saved. The Gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJB. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Of course, one knows and acknowledges that Jesus Christ is GOD. The Only God. I personally have a hard time believing a person who prays to 3 gods - and that Jesus Christ is the 2nd god the son, and yet claim there is only one god, could possibly be saved. Even though they claim they are saved. We know that scripture is clear that Jesus said there will be many that claim they know him but Jesus will spew them out of his mouth.
      Matthew 7:21-23
      King James Version
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

      Revelation 3:16
“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

      King James Version (KJV)
